These are my personal favorite diaper. The soft absorbent area at the front and rear of the diaper are wider than normal. This means you feel more soft fluffy parts of the diaper against your skin and less plastic. They hold a lot of wettings before leaking. They are a soft purple color with darker purple stripes, which is a nice change from the usual white diaper. On the downside they only have four adhesive tabs, two on each side. On occasion I have had a tab come loose. Fortunately each tab is actually a double tab. So when one tab comes undone, peel away the first layer and re-fasten it with the second. I would like to stress that while I haven't tried every diaper out there, I have tried quite a few. Because of the wide absorbant area on these they give a very soft feel against the skin. Softer than any other diaper I've tried.

I completely agree. These are the best diapers I've used and I plan on using them.

Bambino are more expensive. And it seems that only a few places carry them. I can live with molicare since I've gotten used to them.

Uhh.. I think only one place carries them XD Unless stores are starting to stock them, and I don't know who would actually be able to go through with buying them XDDD

Back to the topic of Molicares now.. XD heh
Though I've only ever worn two kinds of diapers now, I'd say Molicare Supers are my personal favourite also. ^-^
And despite light purple and pink not being my sort of colours, the diapers themselves are very soft and snug

On the site I ordered mine from, Molicares range from £14 (around $20) to £20 (around $29) depending on which type you're getting, with Extra being the cheapest and Supers being the more expensive. They may be slightly cheaper on US sites though but I'm not sure ^^;

And as for Bambino's... haven't a clue really

A bag of 10 bambinos is $18 without shipping and handling... Not sure how much that is in Euros.

I agree, I've only tried a few brands, i.e. Depends (awful), Tena, Kroger, and some others, but the Molicare Super Plus are by far the best! They hold a LOT before any leakage. You can even wet them when they are completely full and they won't leak at the crotch, though don't lie down if they're THAT wet.

With the Molicare Super Plus you're looking at about $25 for a pack of 14 from Northshorecare.com

>>>>BOTTOM LINE<<<<<

Bambino's are way to expensive by the package in either size. Molicare is still expensive per diaper and doesn't have the absorbency, but they're still my fav. I love wearing them to class, outside and everywhere! They're pretty silent, have GREAT leak gaurds, and the padding is very, very nice. Feels more like some kind of fabric than the crappy depends. Bambinos hold way more, but molicares are still my fav diaper because they are way more comphy than Bambino under clothing.

Molicares are the best if you can afford them and get them. They NEVER leak. The downside is that they're only available by mail order. Because of this, it can be difficult to ensure you're the one who finds the package if you don't live alone. I'll be sticking with diapers I can get safely.

it's illegal to open someone else's mail ya know. If you live with your family, just follow the tracking numbers so you'l know when the packages will arrive. If you've never ordered off the internet before, just start doing some ebay shopping so your family just figures hey...another package. They shouldn't be opening it up...and if they have a habit of that, just stress to them that you would like them to respect your things and allow you to open YOUR mail.

molicare super plus are great. i went to a medical supply store on the other side of my town and got the lady who worked there to order them(last summer). they have about 2 cases of them, I plan on returning to get more soon. the molicare super plus themselves are nice and thick, i wear them underjeans with a long button down shirt and it hides it nicely, but i never try to be self conscious of it. they do hold a whole lot, more then any other diaper ive tried (depends,medline,tena etc..) though i suppose abena xplus holds more, but I do like the purple color and soft feel, maybe ill try some bambinos next.

Recently quite a few stores have been stocking these. At least in Illinois. I know Walmart is one of them.

Recently quite a few stores have been stocking these. At least in Illinois. I know Walmart is one of them.

No stores near where I live (Richmond, VA area) that I have checked stock these. These are German made (reminds me of Shamwow!).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~
I recently bought a sample pack of these from xpmedical.com. This site offers alot of sample packs. Each comes with 4 diapers for $5.95 plus S&H. The Molicare Sample pack comes with two of the ones this thread is about and two Supers. Here is a direct link to the section of the site that offers the samples: http://www.xpmedical.com/samples.html
As for the the Super Plus: I like them. The material on the inside is soft unlike the material used on others. They crinkle a bit. I do like how they are purple. Can't really say about anything else as I bought these while still at home.
molicare are so much more expensive then xplus. Also molicare has no waist which leads to a wet bed when sleeping and, their not as absorbant. I would have to say that for the price and, absorbancy xplus is so much better .
I finally had a chance to use these and I have to say that these hold quite a bit. At first they crinkle a bit and are somewhat thick (thickness when dry is more thick than Super when dry), but this diaper will swell when wet. I was able to give it 2 medium wettings and 1 heavy wetting. It felt like it could more, but I don't want to risk leaking on the floor. I actually went out and about to do some errands while it was wet with the two meduim wettings and I couldn't hear it over my pants and normal sounds that go on while outside. They are a bit more cost wise than others, but they are IMO ones that you should look into. The tapes hold very well. The padding on these also extend a bit into the wings. So its not like some that are just a rectangle, these are like an outline of the shape of the diaper. Again I love the color of these. The Supers have tapes that stretch while the Super Plus do not.
They are indeed softer and more aesthetically pleasing than the x-plus but the x-plus has a greater capacity and a better price.
I wear smalls, so im basing my review on that.
They are pretty absorbant, however not quite as good as Abena Xplus.
VERY strong. I do alot of bending over, lifting and running about in my line of work, and they never leaked over almost 6 hours of wearing them, and several wets with no tears or overly noticeable leaking.(I tend to drink alot, and therefore wet alot. That is pretty impressive ^.^) There was a tiny leak around the inner right leg but it was not noticeable due to the fact that i wear a skirt or a short dress 90% of the time.
They swell up alot, but that can be a good thing for some people. They DID make me have to waddle a bit but i could still easily hide it if need be.
Plastic backing = yay! The new style of abena's worst flaw is the lack of plastic backing. It just doesn't help the diaper structurally to loose it.
I am impressed with the tapes, really. IMO the tapes kick Abenas's butt. they fasten on and stay on, and dont snag on anything.
All in all, if they were nto so expinsive, i would switch to them. In comparison to my favourites, Abena X plus they win hands down on comfort and durability movement wise. However in terms of price and absorbancy, Abena Xplues still take the cake, which is pretty sad looking at the price of them.
Molicares were the best fitting diaper I have ever worn. Not a huge fan of the color, they are impossible to find in stores as is anything decent in North America, and man can they wick. The ONLY diaper I have ever tried that can be flooded fast without leaking, that includes X-Plus and Bambino.
Generally, I find Molecares to be a good every-day sort of diaper that can be thickened with and Abena booster pad for nighttime use. They don't carry the price premium of the ABDL-marketed diapers, but they are among the thickest of the "vanilla" disposables out there. The double-tapes are great if you wear them long enough to need an adjustment, or if you ever need to get out of them once in a while but don't want to ruin the tapes. Personally, I prefer Bambinos to Molecare but find them just about on par with Abena Super X-Plus (the Abenas seem thicker to me, but I find Molecares to fit better).
Ive tried these bambinos and Abena x-plus and these were pretty good. The only problem is the stuffing tends to clump when wet.
