Whereas Adrien....well, he´s too focused on his polka dot boner to worry about anyone else. Plus Marinette is clumsy and shy, whereas Ladybug is confident and athletic

Well, Marinette probably sees them as two different people. She sees Adrien as this gorgeous, aloof model whose kind, yet rich, and is on a pedastal, whereas Cat/Chat Noir is a cocky, pun spewing goofball. One of the webisodes states that Cat is Adrien´s true self. But God, imagine if his dad found out his son ran around Paris in a black leather cat suit. You ever think it gets hot in that?
