I'm sorry for seeming so negative on this idea, but it doesn't appeal to me and it doesn't seem like there's any good plot to it.

What do you mean? Monitoring them more then normal? Like someone of authority in the company? A company evaluating itself doesn't make much sense unless that person who evaluated them works at another location or something.

well a third party investigation isnt really waht i was aiming for, more like the facility documenting the sub's treatment more in detail than normal

That just makes it more complicated with some third party investigation...

perhaps also, the facility is under evaluation for its effectiveness and the sub is being observed to determine if the treatment is effective

How would that help? I mean there might be a slight more of a connection between the care taker and the person, but it doesn't escape the simplistic day care idea.

well the sub could perhaps have a drug problem and has to work to conquer their addiction though their stay
