I think his life energy just covered Earth and part of the solar system, not quite leaching out to the rest of the universe yet. I'd have to rewatch that episode though.

I think they pulled off the explanation well about Fused Zamasu's immortality; the fusion was between Zamasu's immortal body and GOKU's body. The immortality only covered half the form, even if the souls in the two were the same person; I half suspected the immortality would negated outright and the fusion would rely on the raw power to defeat Goku and co.

He believed that he was right that ist drove him insane in my opinion he should have won he fused with his immortal alt self so shouldn't he be immortal as well

He believed in what he was doing, and he managed to ultimately assassinate the majority of the kias and Gods of Destruction. One of the better villains to be sure.

Yeah I hated that but zamasu as a character is what makes it for me
