I think equestria would have enchanted or magical diapers whereas the human world doesn’t, so the diapers Sunset wears on earth are not magic or enchanted.

Sounds fine by me granted both worlds have diapers or I assume both worlds do seeing as we know canon wise Equestria does. I kinda want to play with the thought in this warped reality Sunset ran off and has been avoiding who became her 'second mommy' and well Twilight of this warped one takes Sunset back upon finding out.

She will probably be in equestria most of the time, not the human world, so there isn’t likely to be much use of the human world other then introducing the diapers.

I have nothing against that, anyone specifically you'd want to find her where she finds out its magic that warped reality that is if she is the one that knows how the worlds used to be? Also which world we talking here she would be in most of the time? I ask as to be sure if we talking Equestria most of the time or if you want this in the 'human world' most of the time I'm more then open for either set up, even have ideals for added fun in the human world with throwbacks to mlp Gen 1 in terms of some updated versions of characters showing up not even referenced I know of in this current gen 4 canon.
