Could work. I just kind of like the idea of ash inadvertently causING it with one of his old powerhouses charizard being a pseudo dragon would probably make it worse. And frankly with how her dragonite was doing against charizard it could be ineresting. If we do the icetype maybe articuno? Or some other ice type. Though i don't know anothet one in that power range that would cause night

I like the latter one with Ash taking charge of Iris. I’m kinda of a big shipper of them. Maybe they meet a powerful ice type that causes Iris’s nightmares.

Maybe not by the end and I guess misty could be put pretty close on that list. Hmm it depends I think there's a couple ways we could go about this I'm thinking something to do with either a magical mishap of some kind. Maybe nightmares cause bed wettin.? Some form of powerful pokemon scares her. Ash's charizard trashing her dragonite could be worked out as a sort of shock to her system about how expeirienced ash really is. Maybe ash acts a b it more mature and takes charge. Lots of possibilities.
