Maybe its the magic that affect those punished could be for a set period irreversible(in other words Jeanne sends some of the magic being used on her to Omega and seeing as it was for punishment where Jeannes source was Omega has some regression he can fight if he wanted but till the preset time period on Jeannes punishment is up Omega's stuck in the situation))
