It's okay, by pointing it out to me I can work on making it easier to understand in my future chapters. I thank you for that.

First off, I'm not offended at all. You made a comment about a part of my story, and so I'm discussing it with you.

I mentioned the tenth first, then said opening and closing each took a fifth. One fifth is equal to two tenths, so in essance, Orochimaru used a total of five tenths, half of his entire chakra reserves in the fight against the Diamond Spear, plus however much he used before hand. I mentioned his chakra levels to show how skilled an opponent the Diamond Spear was in comparison to one of the legendary sannin, Orochimaru even. That was the meathod to my madness

Thanks for the review, I wanted to point something out about it. Summoning jutsu take a fair amount of chakra, at least in Orochimaru's case. Opening and closing the gates of hell themselves would take quite a lot of chakra, wouldn't you think? That's why I used the math I did, it's logical, you just have to look at it the right way.
