The only idea I can think of - while they are in a Trainees Squad Annie discovers that Mikasa wets her bed sometimes (or vise versa? It could be due the changes from titan form) and one of them teases the other, forces to wear diapers, etc. But somehow other students discover it quickly and now both girls are turned into "squad babies"...
