Marvel has made some pretty odd call on mutant powers in recent years as we got one recently that her powers are described as able to download things from the internet to her brain and delete comments from the internet and upload things without using a computer via a born connection to the internet.. So with mutants like that it gave me some ideals for OC's
On a side note was skimming X-Men Red and it seems Jean aswell as the phoenix still has a connection going on in some fashion
Humm you know those white Gorillias in DC comics Diana was palls with in the Comics? … I highly doubt in the current comics she'd be friend with them give how in recent years DC comics have made it canon almost every Amazon is Extremely anti-male to the point Diana is the only one confirmed in the comics not to be a extreme man-hater at this point
Also Marvel seems to be pressing on with eliminating mutants completely , I have read chatter they are pushing this as more and more people are going ''Its stupid Marvel are using people with powers as a stand in for those who are different'' Which makes me want to play with the concept Jubilee gets injected with some Anti-mutant thing for one reason or another and side affects show up
Oh and you know the Operation Zero tolerance Storyline? Found some disconcerting Chatter/rumors started on Social media started from a so called Comic 'pro' claiming in a almost hinting matter Jubilee if not for the Comic Code having been in affect at the time well not just mental abuse/torture would have befallen her but other types hinting at Physical and the worse kind of abuse if you catch my drift...Not that it was directly stated but enough was just clear enough to gather what the person was getting at.. Granted I can think of ways to play with that rumor into a rp setting via the after match with her free
Oh and was skimming data on Jubilee turns out some added background for her has arose sense I last read about her is she was as a kid loved loud noises and flashy lights as a kid thus she loved fireworks … I know its been said its canon mutant abilitys are a extension or expression of a person but I didn't think they made things that literal to the mutants in canon ever
Oh and related to that search found some data that suggests even when Jubilee was depowered she keep her ability to keep her mind shut off from those who could muck about in her mind… Granted that from what I gather and what I recall on the comics I've read was never fully confirmed as a mutant ability of hers as it could be equally just her own mental defenses and such she had built up prior to meeting the X-Men so as to hide facts about how she was feeling or something...
Another fact I found that's seemingly not explored yet or even hinted at in the comics if what I have skimmed and looked around is anything to go by is about Jubilees inheritance and assists as its canon her parents was well off to the point she hadn't needed to work if they lived... But she seems to even now not have any of it yet in the canon comics despite her being a teacher of some sort from what some canon data say thus she should be old enough to have all that given access to her...
