Its fine was about to suggest something like that where Jubilee is now watched closer then most vistors till they know if she is going to do something that would jeopardize their exist at the very least when it comes to the not fully organic woman and for a larger scale if she is going to jeopardize this places way of life. Basically classic thriller/sci-fi and even afew horoor trope set up matters of a new comer getting wise quickly but being prevented from getting answers to confirm things till later on in the tale. Which depending on the genre the trope is in and theme of the book it may or may not be a good thing in thse type of books in this case if we get that far then we'll decide

Well that's good we got something set up. We can have everything seem normal more or less at the start but when Hank ends up diapered at night afew things start to become clear in this town to the duo ,but not anywhere enough for answer yet as Hanks trouble gets worse to in the day time and the girls start talking about things that at first Jubilee passes off as joking matters yet does them anyway as she wants to get some harmless revenge. The girls say more stuff and soon Jubilee starts getting paranoid along with Hank as its clear something worse then a isolationist town thing is going on here but they aren't sure if this is some strange variant of what could be a mostly harmless cult or something else so they start looking into it way more

Humm '' X-Men; the Stepford town'' Also I had a weird ideal this town had a Stepford Wives thing happen but the Cyborg/robot wives went and malfunctioned or a error/corruption happened and following the protocol to pamper and let the males not worry about anything went from more or less outdated housewife to being mother/caretaker to all males and now both flesh based females and the robotic versions are the ones in charge of the place
