Sorry for the random topic change but my blood is just boiling at the moment and my GF wont listen to me and just yells at me for being mad about this.



I just got so fucken blindsided that I have just been in a sour mood since about 9:30pm and getting progressevly worse. I have never been that much of a Samsung fan. I despise their TVs and never really liked their phones, I feel their OS is too bloated. But I have been thinking that a smart watch would be helpful with a lot of my day to day. So after turning $20 into $260 last night at the casino. I decided to pull the trigger on a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smart watch. I figure its an Android smartwatch. Its supposed to work with other Android phones, like my LG V30. Everything ive found in my initial research has people saying good things about it as a viable smartwatch even if you dont have a samsung phone. And I asked a coworker about theirs and they gave it a glowing review.

Well as it turns out and as I found out after spending about an hr with the watch and trying to get everything working with my phone. I start digging deeper and find out samsung had put out an update for the S2 and S3 watches. So now, if you dont have a samsung phone 90% of the watches functions dont work anymore. It cant even do texts, phone calls, health tracking, ect. Nothing that people ya know, WANT a smart watch to do. It can essentially give you the time of day and let you know a notification exists but nothing more, it cant even show you what the Notification is. So its a glorifed notification machine. "Hey you have a notification, but you still need to use your phone to do anything about it" Now Samsung doesnt tell anyone about this anywhere, keeps saying how it will work with all androids. When in reality it doesnt anymore and they refuse to acknowledge its an issue with the watch and fix the software so it works again. So it will be getting returned as soon as I wake up in the morning. This just has me so god dam pissed. I hate the fucken fact that if you want anything good at all in the mobile phone world. You need an Apple or a Samsung. If you dont own either then fuck you no one gives a shit about you, go die off in a corner. I am sick of always getting shafted in everything I fucken do just because im not blindly following whats popular. Apple sucks customers dry for the same product every year all because its an Apple Product. And Samsung just doesnt give a fuck at all about their customers. Because both of the companies can slap their logo on a literal piece of shit, charge $1000 for it, and they will sell it to the happy masses wanting it.



I am really fucken pissed off. I just want to be able to not always have to look at my phone to deal with calls, texts, notifications ect. And this piece of junk cant even do that. I wish the Razer Nabu wasnt a cheaply designed piece of plastic or it probably could have met my needs. But now I have no option and it sux.
