Think we should talk more about Livvy and Rachel? I feel like we should establish our thoughts on them and sorta talk through how we'll be playing them, just so we're clear on it and especially considering Rachel's gonna be coming in semi-soon

I like that a lot! I also see Rachel as playing a sorta big role as Livvy's mommy too. I can see there being some fun in having her trade some "I-was-a-baby-slave-mommy-before-you" advice with Abby



And yeah I agree with that, though I can see him graduating to mittens/locked footie pajamas a bit earlier than I initially anticipated with how his character is going (plus I think it'd be fun for him to be taught to make grabby hands!)

I was thinking we could have a lot of fun with Livvy kinda teaching Robin how to be a better baby. I feel like his people pleasing nature would eventually lead him to the conclusion of "I want to make Abby really happy by being cute for her" and having him eagerly learn fun ways to be the baby he thinks she wants him to be

That's a good point on the last part. I liked the idea of Livvy being a kind of big sister, so maybe we can just drop this entirely.


If that's the case then I think we can take out his gag after the first playtime. The jacket should probably stay though, I think Abigail would know he almost impulsively tries to help other people in ways a baby shouldn't be able to

As for the gag, it's less of a misinterpretation and more that Robin isn't able to actually be anything other than a distraction for Abby when they first meet. He can't charm her with his awkward softness, or really talk to her at all, and he can't really try to be helpful or do anything to please her. He just soaks up her girlfriend's attention and seems to distract her while Rachel tries to spend time with her

Because she's Jealous of the fact that he's occupying Abby's attention. It's not entirely rational, but basically she kind of thought that Livvy was enough and that this entire thing is introducing another big distraction and complication in their so far smooth-sailing relationship, eating up Abby's time and making her think less about their romance. It's a kind of paranoid anxiety that comes from someone who I imagine to be a serial worrier

Yeah, I figure it'd be best to do it after Rachel leaves. I imagine she finds it easier to dislike him out of jealousy when he can't do anything to make her like him since the jacket and gag rob him of agency. I want the bad first impression to leave a bit of a lasting dislike that she feels toward him that makes him feel bad and gets resolved over the course of the RP so we can have some character development

I've been thinking on it, and I think the best time for the paci-gag to fully come out is after day one. I like the idea of him being unable to speak kinda fueling Rachel's dislike of him
