Ah, alright. In that case, I'll stick to the bard then.

The harpy design I'm going for isn't well known for having hands, so I do picture it being somewhat difficult to do anything that would involve hands without a great deal of proficiency in working with with their wings. Maybe something involving magic. I know one of them is Wizard, but I forgot the other magic based classes.

I'm fine with doing 3.5e. While it doesn't seem matter which I choose, since I'm still learning the most basic of the rules and mechanics, I do want to go with the one that can provide easier usage for you, the DM, as to prevent conflicts or just outright getting lost on my part.

I mainly chose the one I sent you because, aside from the stats displayed, the descriptions are pretty much what I was thinking of with the harpy character themselves. Appearance wise as well.

One kind of creature that keeps coming to mind is a spectral sort of entity. One that is elementally based, but perhaps not necessarily as monstrous as it seems like they're typically portrayed in images.

Perhaps they're a curse specified to the dungeon. The dungeon itself, I was thinking it could be basically a sort of "typical" dungeon. Ancient, abandoned, chalk full of all of the terrible things that can be stuck into a dungeon. Of course, with the twist of padding and things added in that can cause adjustments to it. Like, the diapers can be "cursed" in a way that say makes them heavier, noisier, maybe thinner while making the wearer more accident-prone. I'm also thinking that padding wouldn't be seen as a normal thing in the world.

Since D&D tends to be fantasy focused and all, I'm going to stick with that being the kind of genre. The setting can be about a strange keep that has yet to fall, and despite all that has happened in the world around it, it's continued to stand as if nothing happened. That could be the reason why people are "attracted" to it, despite all the numerous ghost stories, strange happenings, and so on being around it due to its passage through history.

Looking at the list of monsters, I'm assuming that you mean based off of what is basically labelled under Other Race on the wiki as opposed to the Psionic and Normal races.

I'm thinking of going along the path of a monster character. As for the NPC part, I'm thinking we can maybe determine that later in the thread. Basically I'm a player, you're the DM, and if all seems to be going well, then maybe we can get you an NPC to use?

I think I will stick to a one on one game. I don't have anyone in mind to invite.

I think, to avoid us taking a while to get everything started, it may be best for me to learn as we go, or just get something that explains it at its base. Going through an entire thread might take a little too long. I do think I have a general gist of it though, based off of what I've read on the wiki for D&D 3.5e so far.
