Oh they did most of it was from the damn 'moral' guardians that censored and outright removed a lot of stuff needlessly in the games and anime. Granted anime wise it was expected with the fact 4kids had the license till they went under. Gamewise most of the changes and removal of content from the past for the west and ones still being done make no damn sense . Sure Jinx censoring makes sense as without context to the fact the pokemon was based on a eastern lore it could have been viewed as a racist sterotype. While some very friendly and not at all offense aswell as completely child-friendly none scary stuff was removed with other things that are very creepy and dark got left in like afew Pokemon are literally former people who got turned into pokemon do to either doing vary bad things so they was stuck on earth or in afew cases Children who didn't live long and thus stuck around on earth to have fun. But despite that they keep that in while removing very harmless stuff to this day and still keep Westernizing what they bring over in the games by removing varies none fictional eastern foods in the games.

Speaking of Pokemon games ever play the gamecube games where you can steal other trainers pokemon? Yeah There was afew that did that

Odd question but do you mind if Missingo is a legendary in our rp? I mean it is considered by a vast majority of those who played the original western releases of the old Gameboy games as a legendary because from what I know this specific glitch was caused by when censoring and editing things for the western market left gaps in the game's code from not replacing it with anything else and thus we got it

Also odd fact you can honestly trade it to the special anime based game cartridge granted it goes into a level up loop so bad if you battle with it you are stuck with the end battle going '' Level up' happening till you shut off the game.
