That's quite a difference from my case: I have no cousins around, or even many aunts and uncles. Talk about day and night! Well, I guess I could use that for Joshua's background, making him an only child: that could explain why he's so dedicated in his friendship with Vince and eager to have two new little brothers around.

Excellent! I really liked the idea of both of them getting a present before their journey (a TM and an Egg), so no problems with that!

Oh well, if you want to do something different for Vince's parents we can have him being a student under Joshua's father too, like a dojo or gym, and there they became friends while training together. But the idea of the two dads being Black Belts is fine too, of course! Regardless, they becoming friends like that is perfect, it shows how much they both care and apply in fighting, from Pokemon to actual spanks XD

Vince's family sounds good to me! You already mentioned the tailor cousin, and I think that's a wonderful and sweet idea. Besides, so many costumes and cousins could come in handy later during the RP!

I haven't actually thought about Joshua's one beside the father, though. Maybe being a family of professional trainers, as they gave Joshua a MT for his Trapinch and (and this is just a suggestion) giving Vince the Machop egg? I don't know, really.

Exactly, we have an entire region and many different characters to have fun with!

Also, as I wrote about Joshua's father being a Black Belt and so on, I thought about something: should we think about Joshua and Vince's past, like how they met and became friends and so on, or it doesn't matter that much?

I really agree with you! That uniform was perfect for the Galar's youngster. If I were to make a 'tier list' of youngsters from every game, it'd be:
1- Sword/Shield
2- X/Y
3- Omega Ruby/Sapphire Alpha
4- Heart Gold/Soul Silver
5- Diamond/Pearl
6- Black/White
7- FireRed/LeafGreen
8- Sun/Moon

How right you are! I quite snobbed Sword and Shield for many reasons, but I was so taken aback by the Galar Youngster's uniform when I saw it! Together with Allister, they are really spot on!

Oh, don't worry about that! Make them wear the underoos you like most: Pokemonified cartoons are a fantastic original idea, but we can always have normal cartoons in the Pokemon world too if it's easier.
When I said I admire your descriptions I didn't want you to pressure you: I said that because your ways (and SDCharm's too, of course) of showing kiddie underwear basically 'taught' me how to do it even before I actually joined this site... so let's say it was my way of paying homage to you as a 'teacher' XD

Awesome! It's always a treat to find someone who thinks along the same line, I like them too! Actually, the idea of them wearing Youngsters uniform from other regions is really good, we could start with that and later move on to uniforms (which are also childish, but even more humiliating as it means they're once again students). And that would just be the beginning...

Well, for the underwear, I think we could leave them with their 'grown up' ones in the beginning. A sort of 'grant', if you will, to save their dignity and so on.
But later we can really knock them down into kiddie underwear, with briefs and so on: speaking of which, I really like childish underwear and such (I really admire the descriptions you always give in your Naruto and Anime Institute stories, they're always so funny, colorful and humiliating!). And, if we'll get to that, then pull-ups and at the end plain diapers of course.

Of course! I love when a character is forced to wear childish clothes! In fact I was already thinking about that too, with shorts, student uniforms and such things.

I was also thinking it would be funnier and more interesting to do that in different moments: at first we could only change their exterior clothes, just as a "reminder" of their new status, then after a big mistake later (like losing against a gym leader, or trying to run away, or other things) put them in kids' underwear too and going on like that, always finding ways to make their appearance more childish. Does that sound good?

Also, I'm fine with them being forced into female clothes, "sissy" ones and so on too.
