Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on DiaperedAnime:

Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

    It's about team rocket capturing a trainer and transforming him into a Pokémon. Either they could keep him or get rid of him and another trainer can find and take care of him.

    Can’t say I’m familiar with that one. Over the years I’ve dabbled in various editions and derivations of D&D, and played one long GURPS 3rd Ed. campaign. That’s the extent of my gaming experience.

    GURPS is a very “crunchy” system which I was never a huge fan of, though I like its flexibility. Overall I generally prefer the d20 system, though every version/editon has its flaws.

    GURPS also has some of the best historical & mythological supplements ever produced for RPG’s.

    Well I know GURPS has a whole supplement on designing dragons for just about any role in a campaign, though I’ve never read that one.

    Then there’s “Beyond The Wall” which is one of many “retro clones” of pre-WOTC D&D, oriented somewhat at younger players and younger PC’s though it’s not a “kids’ game” per se. It also has major monsters such as dragons and demons being designed individually by the GM.

    Smaug is described in the book as “a vast, red-gold dragon”. The movies took a boatload of liberties and did not to the book justice at all, IMHO.

    As far as breath weapons go, I like either fire or acid/venom, which seem to be the most common & iconic in mythology & literature.

    I’ve seen some RPG systems in which each dragon, demon, etc. is unique, designed by the game master, instead of falling into a preset archetype. I’ve never been a big fan of D&D’s take on dragons actually... way too many wonky breath weapons. At least they have the mighty, fire-breathing red... ie Smaug from The Hobbit.

    That’s a cool approach too... kinda reminds of Star Wars actually. And having Warlock patrons like Queen Ilrun as allies to non-villainous characters is pretty cool too.

    I am aware I think I lean more towards human-centric campaigns as my personal preference... with plenty of fantasy and mythical elements. Norse and Arthurian are my favorites.
