As I said he is alive and went on record at a con panel saying he is against how Modern Marvel has gone and he didn't even know the reason they wanted him at one specific panel in a polite proper worded manner was basically saying 'he was unaware this panel they was trying to throw him under the bus ' He also stated if he knew his support back in the day of using comics as social commentary would get so twisted that instead of telling proper storys both the characters and comic storys have become total mouth pieces he'd have keep his mouth shut and just did his own thing

Also you know when you hijack characters in business for mouth pieces be it soapboxing or personal agenda spewing you often get Blacklisted and keep far away from anything dealing with writing or story make up of anykind? I mainly brought up a mlp example as one whoever Hijacked those Characters as a personal mouth piece and denying they was at fault and failing is how Marvel this year afew months back handled its hijacking and mouth piece bullshit by saying Stan Lee was fully the cause Marvel has what most call SJW Marvel era and they failed similar to my example . Which I can only guess that they used Stan Lee to try and bullshit their way out of blame is because he was one of the members behind X-Men which was one of the comics most prominent to deal with issues and because he is a well known man in the comic world. I do admit Stan had a view of supporting comic books to provide some measure of social commentary about the real world but these modern comics Marvels making aren't despite claims they are, hell at a panel he even went on record this year saying about if he knew his support back years ago on using comics for that type of thing would lead to Marvels current state he'd never had supported it as a whole all those years ago

Wanna know whats interesting about a fandom? The mlp show staff atleast a chunk of them seem to not be able to take reasonable critics and minor jokes to the point they made a ep this recently ended series hijacking on a soapback matter more or less and basically saying'' Fuck you '' to the older fans and to not watch something meant for kids despite the fact Bronys are what was confirmed to be keeping the series very profitable for Hasbro to keep it running. So the ep I am talking about is like a seriously major case of the staff ''biting the hand that feeds them'' because they might have hyperbole the bad part of the fanbase but not showing the good and only let the children characters get what was wrong in the thing. Which funny enough after a live con showing of the ep all the staff was trying to push the blame on the one guy all those in the fandom know stays close to the fandom and respects the good parts of it even when he got hate for one ep and still does as he understands the hate for that ep. The live showing seemed to have been what made the staff who cleared it see it as what it was ''we done fucked up here with this ep''
