(Not sure where or how to start it so I'll just start it like this.)

Lately the short gem known as Peridot had been having some...issues at night, which involved the small gem waking up to a wet bed. Because of her lack of knowledge on how to correctly use the washer and dryer, and because she didn't want to tell the other gems about her problem, she would try and get rid the evidence of what happened during the night, which was anything she could think of, one time even just throwing her sheets into the ocean. At the moment, she was sure all her attempts to hide what was going on were working, she was sure that none of the other gems knew.

(Just to clarify, this is a slight AU in which gems need to eat, use the bathroom, sleep, etc.)

Pearl was a bit more observant than Peridot had hoped for. She'd noticed the soaked sheets and pondered how they got that way. The logical conclusion was that someone was wetting the bed, but Pearl didn't know who. She decided to investigate the matter and one morning she snuck into the area where Peridot slept. To her surprise, she saw that the sheets were wet and that Peridot was still sleeping.

Soon after Pearl had snuck in the area where Peridot was asleep and saw her sheets, the sleeping gem began to wake up, unaware that Pearl was nearby and had seen the wet sheets.

"Ahh!" Peridot yelled out when Pearl spoke, she was not expecting Pearl to see her like this,"W-what are you doing in here?!" Perisot yelled, not answering Pearl's question.

"I-it's just water! I erm spilled some last night...?" Peridot said, trying to make excuses for why the sheets would be wet, but she had very little confidence that her made up explaination would work.
