Sonata sighed. "Yep... I'm gonna go insane.."

"Open up" Chris said again holding the piece of sandwich near her mouth.

Sonata sighed heavily and opened her mouth.

Chris pushed the tuna into her mouth before getting a second piece.

Once the sandwich was gone Chris rubbed her head "You thirsty?"

Sonata went into the living room and laid on the couch.

Chris came in a minute later with a bottle of milk and sat down on the end of the couch,pulling her up into his lap with a grunt of effort and leaning her back,pressing the nipple of the bottle to her mouth "Drink up"

"What in the seven hells..?" Sonata asked with a grimace

"Watch that word" Chris said "And why are you surprised? What part of being a baby for the first month didn't you get?"

Sonata sighed. "If you'll excuse me, I think I'll go jump out the window.."

Chris took advantage of her talking to push the bottle into her mouth and held it there.

Sonata growled a bit and didn't take a drink.

"You said your thirsty so drink,this is the only way your getting anything to drink" Chris said plainly.

"I'll deal." Sonata said, glaring at him.

"Alright then" Chris said putting the bottle to the side and carrying her upstairs to a different room where there was a large crib,setting her down inside it and covering her up with a few ligth blankets "Nap time,I'll be back in 10 minutes to check on you,if your not asleep...well you don't want to find out"

"How about I sleep forever..?" Sonata said

"You can't" Chris said "They said you might be a suicide risk,so the house has been baby proofed. Nothing sharp,the cloth is a special polarized cloth so it can't be knotted or eaten"

"You'll assimilate eventually" Chris said "Now get to sleep" he said turning the light out,the only light in the room coming from a small night light.

After 10 minutes passed Chris crept back upstairs to see if she was asleep.

Chris sighed and went back downstairs.

After about a hour Kirsty came up instead and turned the light on,and gently scooped Sonata out of the crib "Time to wake up baby girl"

Sonata sighed and went to use the bathroom.

Chris rolled his eyes and went to start lunch as it started to rain outside.

Sonata went outside and broke into a run. She thought the rain would stay in a sprinkle and started to run fast. She turned to an alley, and fell, skinning her leg up. She sat against the wall and shook.

Chris grabbed and umbrella large enough for 5 people and took off with Kirsty to try and find Sonata as the rain started to poor harder and the wind picked up.

Sonata saw a man and images of her being beaten and left alone after a severe beating flashed through her head as thunder echoed across the sky. She threw up and hung her head. Her bowels had evacuated as she sat in fear. She stood and bashed her head into the wal, falling on the ground, helpless. She quivered, defeated as blood streamed down her face. "AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"

Sonata spoke to herself in Japanese and rested her head on her palm.

"It just feels like you're doing this for your own amusement.." Sonata said

"Didn't we go over that?" Kirsty said "We do this to keep you from having to worry about it"

"Uh-huh, sure you do." Sonata said, shaking her head. "Not the real reason, there's an ulterior motive somewhere."

"Nope....I don't lie and I am telling you,we only do this because we think its the best for you" Kirsty said,sitting the rest of the way in silence and parking the car "If you need a change,just come to the nurse's office,the staff already knows not to stop you if your coming" she said "Have a good day at class" she said heading off in the direction of the nurses office.

"Best for my overall self, maybe. For my sanity and self-image, no." Sonata said before going to class

"Image isn't everything!" Kirsty called before heading into the nurses office.

"It is if you're depressed and/or borderline suicidal!" Sonata called back, then returned to talking to herself.

A boy about Sonata's age ran up with a grin "Parents huh? I'm Nicky"

"Sonata." She replied softly, looking around and memorising exits

"Your the nurses Daughter right?" Nicky asked

Sonata nodded. "Unfortunately... I just know this will suck."

"Nah....your a wearer right? This school is full of them" Nicky said looking around a bit before pulling down the side of his pants a little,revealing a pull-up "I was in a car wreck last year and lost control..." he said before she could ask "I am fairly certain you wear one,am I right?"

"Against my will." Sonata said before muttering in Japanese again

"Don't worry no one will tease you here" Nicky said "This school had a lot of wearers, its why your mom was hired since her and your dad created the schools 'Stress Free Learning' for students with poor grades" he added "So you can relax" he said with a smile

"They could've told me so I wouldn't think I was going to... whatever... it doesn't matter." Sonata said with a sigh

"Well its not something people like to talk about" Nicky said with a small laugh "There are alot of kids like me here too who wear because they have to or because they want to"

Sonata shrugged. "To each their own.."

"Who do you have for first period?" Nicky asked

"I really have no idea on the teachers. Only the subjects, I'm going to English." Sonata said

"Same!" Nicky said "Room 132?" he asked
