Who goes to Anime Conventions?

I was just wondering if anyone goes to anime conventions.

I go to Anime Boston, Another Anime Convention, And AAC Yomise.

If this doesn't belong here please let me know.

i go to I-Con and New York Anime Fest so i got 2 conventions a year, which i love

I went to Nan Desu Kan, a couple of times in the Colorado. we did the whole cosplay thing too, as a group, once as cast of sailor moon, the other as the MGS cast( i was Sailor Uranus, And Olga Gurlukovich)

I've been to one; Desucon in the Norwegian capitol Oslo. T'was pretty nice, although I only had a makeshift costume (gasmask and huge, weatherworn duster coat)

Went to Anime North (i.e. in Toronto, Canada) few times. Not going this year but will be going to Comiket in 2011.

I live too far away to go any conventions, but I want to go to them all one day

I go to ACen every year, been going every year since 2004. I look into other conventions every now and then, but haven't found anything that didn't conflict with something else I had to do or was too soon.

I plan to go to the student exchange program to study a semester in Japan

From? No. Live there? Yes.

Not much in the way of conventions though I've been told there are a few. There are some good events (cosplay, nerd parties, etc) to be found but conventions are kind of hard to pull off here. After all, most people have full access to what can be found (grossly overpriced) at an American con. At least in my experience, the big 'cons' are doujin fairs (Comiket etc).
