At this moment, the recently confirmed, back-from-the-dead Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov and her fiancee, Dimitri, were settling up for a new life together. A life in which, clearly, the former subjects of her family would have to contend with.

Dimitri approached Anastasia and asked her "Are you alright, my love?" Recently, she had seemed more and more restless.

"I'm fine," she said. "I'm just...wondering what the people are going to say when we try to launch our ideas." Right now, the palace was being restored. Quite a few rooms were good as new again.

"You need not worry," Dimitri insisted, "Most of these reforms will benefit everyone, regardless of their class. Everything we're doing is essentially for the greater good."

"Yes," she said. "I know that. I guess I just have fears about history repeating itself."

"As long as we're careful about who we employ as the family physicians, I think we should be fine," Dimitri contended. He was not about to let another mystic like Rasputin near his wife and their future children.

"I agree." She nodded and sighed a bit, excusing herself to sit and ponder in her old bedroom, which was one of the already restored ones. Needless to say, her wondering eventually tired her out and she fell asleep.

Dimitri came to check on his wife, and he found her sound asleep. However, she was also thrashing about, as though she was having a nightmare. He quickly rushed over to her and started shaking her "Ana! Ana, darling, wake up!"

Anya woke with a start. She sighed. "I had a horrible nightmare. About Rasputin, about the people, all of it."

"That's all it was," he assured her, cradling her close, "A nightmare. Nothing more."

Anya held on tight. Then she shifted and felt something. She was astonished to discover that she had wet the bed.

Dimitri was stunned when he discovered this, but he was not angry. "Hasn't this been happening a lot lately?"

She didn't know how to respond. At that moment, while the sheets were taken to be laundered, she went to have a bath.

Dimitri sighed as his wife was washed by the servants. "Is there anything I can do for you?" he called through the door.

"No, I'm fine." She let herself be washed. As she did, the door suddenly opened and everyone stopped. Anya opened her eyes to see what had happened and was astonished by a presence she hadn't seen in years. "Mother?"

Empress Alexandra needed a moment to regain her bearings. Then she looked towards the source of the voice that had called out to her. She had not seen that face in years. That face had been so much younger when she last saw it. Even so, she would never forget it. "Ana? Is it truly you?"

"Yes. How are you here? Am I still dreaming?" She looked at the servants. "You all can see her too, right?"

"Yes, milady," one of the maids declared. Her colleagues firmly nodded their heads. A couple rubbed their eyes to ensure they were not seeing things. They were not. That was the Empress in the flesh before them.

Anya looked on as her mother approached her.

The Empress approached her daughter in solemn silence. She halted when she was directly in front of Anya. Then she teared up and embraced her daughter lovingly.

She embraced her back and teared up as well. After the servants finished washing her and she was dried off, she approached Alexandra again more directly.

"I've missed you so much, my sweet baby girl," the Empress whispered lovingly, cradling Anya close.

"I missed you too," she said, smiling at her mother.

Alexandra then picked her grown up daughter into her arms, as effortlessly as she had done when she was only a baby.

Anya smiled tenderly at her. Alexandra noticed what had happened with the sheets, and already had something in mind.

"Is the nursery still in the same place, sweetheart?" Alexandra asked her daughter.

[toxic34]

"Yes, and it has been refurnished completely."

[AJbestpony]

"Wonderful," Alexandra then carried her daughter to the nursery and set her down on the changing table. She powdered her nether regions thoroughly, and then she asked "How many, dear?"

"Ummmm...how many do you think I need?"

[AJbestpony]

"At least two," Alexandra debated, "Maybe more."

[toxic34]

Anya nodded and continued to lay still for her mother.

[AJbestpony]

Alexandra proceeded to tape three nappies onto her daughter. "Now, let's waddle that cute diapered bottom back to bed, alright?"

"Where am I going to sleep? My sheets are being laundered right now."

[AJbestpony]

"My old bedroom, of course," Alexandra proposed, "Assuming that hasn't been renovated out, as well."

They soon made their way inside and snuggled in together.

Meanwhile, Dimitri was searching for his wife. He asked one of the maids "Have you seen the duchess?"

The maid smiled a bit. "She's in Empress Alexandra's room. Just see for yourself."

[AJbestpony]

Dimitri nodded and went to the bedroom. He was surprised to discover Anya in bed with someone. He was far more surprised when he realized who it was. "E-Empress?" he breathed quietly.

"I don't know how to explain it myself. But I'm here."

[AJbestpony]

"S-so it seems," Dimitri commented plainly. He slowly took a few steps forward, and then he bowed his head and muttered "I... I don't suppose you remember me?" He didn't expect her to. Why would an empress have a memory of a lowly servant boy?

"I think I might have seen you around, from time to time."

"Well, I do not fault you for forgetting my name," Dimitri asserted. He stood up straight and declared. "Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is-"

"Dimitri," Anya said a bit sleepily. "Can you please keep it down?"

"Sorry, my love," he said sheepishly. After a pause, he asked "Would you two like some time alone? I could come back later."

"Yes, please." Anya soon drifted off to sleep.

Dimitri left his wife and her recently-revived mother alone for a while.

When both of them woke, they saw that the empress wasn't the only one to have returned.

Anya was astounded. "Father? Olga? Tatiana? Maria? Alexei?"

They all smiled and hugged tightly. "Welcome home."

[AJbestpony]

Anya found herself overjoyed that her father the Czar, her elder sisters, and her precious little brother had come back to her. She embraced them and began to tear up in joy.

They all cried as well. Alexandra got up. "How is all this possible? How are we back here?"

[AJbestpony]

"Perhaps it's an effect of Rasputin's curse being nullified," Dimitri announced. No one even saw or heard him enter the bedroom.

They all turned around and looked around. "This is Dimitri, my husband," Anya said.

Dimitri was more than a little worried about how the royal family would take a servant boy marrying their youngest daughter. To his vast surprise, the Czar himself came forward and shook his hand, saying "Welcome into the family, my son."

Everyone smiled and hugged him. Anya looked on as her older sisters then commented about her padded status.

Anya blushed when Olga, Tatiana, and Maria were running their hands all along her diapers in curiosity. Dimitri then spoke up. "Anya is diapered because of nightmares she had of Rasputin. I think that could be one of the lingering effects of the curse. If it is, how can we be certain Anya is the only one effected?"

"Hmm, that's a very interesting question," Alexandra said. "Better safe than sorry."

Anya smiled and led everyone to the nursery. Patting the changing table, she asked "Alright, who's first?"

Olga smiled a bit and decided to lay down on the changing table first.

Anya grinned at her eldest sister and proceeded to diaper her in double diapers.

She smiled a bit and wiggled her rear to flaunt her stuff.

Tatiana playfully swatted Olga's diapered bottom. Then she laid down for her turn.

Alexandra smiled and also had her double diapered, kissing her forehead.

"Thank you, sissy," Tatiana said in appreciation. As she curiously explored her new padding, Maria had her turn next.

Anya smiled as she did so with her. "There we are."

Frail Alexei had his turn next. "Remember to be careful with him, darling," Alexandra reminded her youngest daughter in concern.

Anya nodded and made sure she was gentle. She then helped him off the changing table.

Alexei gazed back at his diapered bottom and waddled around the nursery to get the feel of it. "Thank you, Anya!" he exclaimed, embracing her.

She embraced him back and smiled a bit. When everyone else was taken care of, Anya decided to bond with her siblings.

"So, how long have you and Dimitri been married?" Alexei asked his sister. He was actually very fond of Dimitri. He had always been kind to the fragile prince, even though he was just a servant of their family back then.

"Um, a few weeks by now," she said, blushing a little.

"What is it?" asked Olga, smirking a little. "Are you wet? messy? Late?"

[toxic34]

She shrugged a bit. "I'm not quite sure."

[AJbestpony]

Tatiana froze. "Wait, Anya... are you saying you might actually be pregnant?"

[toxic34]

"I don't know, honestly. It could be the case."

[AJbestpony]

Maria squealed and hugged Anya, being mindful of her abdomen. "I hope you are! It's been so long since we had an addition to the family!"

Anya farted during that hug and messed herself thoroughly.

Her sisters and brother giggled at that. They all decided to help change her together.

She laid down to be changed, smiling at them.

[AJbestpony]

Tatiana unfastened the messy diaper and disposed of it. Olga cleaned up Anya's nether regions. Alexei got the changing supplies and powdered her. Maria fastened the new diaper around her waist.

Anya smiled and kissed them all afterwards. "Thank you. All of you."

"You're welcome," her sisters and brother told her in unison. They were all just so happy to be reunited once more.

"We should sleep together tonight," Anya said. "Have fun like we used to."

"That sounds like fun!" Alexei declared. Her sisters all muttered their agreement.

The maids smiled and helped them set things up.

Because of the nursery, they all had the option of going to bed in baby clothes, as well. Anya went ahead and selected a onesie to wear.

Alexei got one, while the older sisters got their nightgowns. They all retreated to Olga's room.

As the first princess, her room was the largest. Her bed was large enough to accommodate Olga, her siblings, and then some.

"So Olga, I notice you never got rid of any of your old toys. Or your pacifier," Anya said.

[AJbestpony]

"That's right," Olga confirmed shamelessly, "Why should we have to give up our own possessions if they make us feel good?"

[toxic34]

"Well, you were also the one who never stopped wetting the bed," Tatiana said.

[AJbestpony]

Olga blushed and turned away. Maria snickered and said "How about that, Big Sis?"

[toxic34]

They all chuckled a bit. Anya just gave her a reassuring hug.

Olga smiled and hugged her youngest sister back. "Alright, now how about we settle down for the night?"

They all got under the covers together. "Mmmmm, I never want this to end."

"As long as Rasputin stays dead this time, it won't have to."

It didn't take long for the royals to blissfully asleep.

At the same time, Nicholas and Alexandra were talking with Dimitri. Although both of them approved of his marriage to their youngest daughter, he still had yet to be recognized by the government as her legal spouse. They were hoping to rectify that issue as quickly as possible.

"So, how are we going to take care of the situation?"

It was Nicholas who offered the most practical solution. "In light of the role you played rescuing Anastasia twice and defeated Rasputin, that is grounds for you to be indoctrinated as an official friend of the royal family. That should put all question of status to rest."

"Thank you for that, sir." He imagined that Vladimir would be ecstatic when he and Sophie heard the news.

"You've earned it, my boy," Nicholas assured him. All of a sudden, Alexandra approached Dimitri and picked him up. Her strength was remarkable.

"Wow, you sure are quite strong, Empress!"

[AJbestpony]

"So I noticed," Alexandra muttered in amusement. She then carried Dimitri towards the nursery. "You know, Dimitri; every other member of the royal family is in diapers now. Even if you do not need them, we can hardly make an exception for anyone."

"I guess that's impregnable logic," he said.

[AJbestpony]

Alexandra was glad that her son-in-law was not trying to resist. Otherwise, she would've had to used force. She soon had Dimitri stripped, powdered, and thickly diapered.

"Well, since Anya is with her siblings right now, what's gonna happen for us tonight?"

[AJbestpony]

"How about you tell me what you and Anya have been planning to do for the betterment of this country?" Alexandra suggested, cuddling her son-in-law close. "Nicholas and I have been gone so long; we hardly know our own country any more."

Dimitri explained everything that had happened after the Bolsheviks took control, and the policies he and Anya had planned. This was especially in the case of market economies, agriculture, social protections, and labor rights.

Alexandra was impressed. "You were planning to enforce all of that in the first couple months of your reign? That's astonishing."

"Yes. In addition, we especially want to do a lot of charity and volunteer work, like at hospitals and orphanages. That part especially resonates with her."

[AJbestpony]

"Given the way she drew up, I am not surprised," Alexandra remarked, "Then again, Anya always did have a tender heart. Even if she lived in the palace all her life, I'm certain she would have proposed this sooner or later."

Nicholas smiled at that. "I think she's going to do us proud, and she'll bring Russia into a new, better age."

"Now that her family's back, I'm certain she will," Dimitri contended. At that moment, the Empress's diaper began to get warm and heavy.

"Better get you changed, love," Nicholas said.

[AJbestpony]

Alexandra blushed, and then she set Dimitri back down whilst her husband tended to her nappies.

He laid Alexandra down, and undid the soaked and messy diapers, wiping her rear and privates tenderly.

Dimitri said nothing; he simply kept his back turned to them out of respect. Alexandra snickered as she was wiped.

"You like this, don't you?" he asked.

[AJbestpony]

"Yes, I do," Alexandra admitted playfully, "If there are two good things that came out of this curse business, one is Anya's marriage to Dimitri. The other is these diapers."

Nicholas smiled as he then powdered and rediapered her. "There we are."

[AJbestpony]

"Thank you, my love," Alexandra said as she kissed the czar. She then turned to their son-in-law and said "So, Dimitri. When can we expect our first grandchild?"

"Well, Anya and I don't know for sure, but we might be expecting already."

[AJbestpony]

"I'm certain you'll be a great father, my boy," Nicholas asserted, patting Dimitri on the back.

[toxic34]

"Thank you for that." He smiled and hugged them.

[AJbestpony]

Alexandra then yawned. "It's getting rather late. Would you like to sleep in the nursery? Or you could sleep with us, if you'd prefer."

[toxic34]

"I guess I'll sleep with you, then. I never really had a night like this."

[AJbestpony]

Nicholas and Alexandra smiled at Dimitri's decision. They each took one of his hands, and they led him back to their bedchamber.

They got under the covers together. "I've never slept in a bed like this."

[AJbestpony]

Alexandra smiled and kissed his forehead. "Get used to it, dear. You're a prince now, after all."

[toxic34]

He settled in to fall asleep. It was a pleasant night.

The next morning, Anya and her siblings all woke up. Someone smelt really foul.

It turned out to be all of them. "Who should be changed first?"

[AJbestpony]

"Alexei!" the girls declared in unison. As the youngest sibling and the one with the most delicate physique, he was often regarded as the perpetual baby of the family.

"All right." Anya laid Alexei down, and undid the diaper slowly.

[AJbestpony]

Without warning, Alexei sprayed urine all over his sister's onesie. "Whoops! Sorry, Anya!"

She just giggled and smiled at him, then wiped him.

Alexei grinned as he was powdered and diapered back up. "Okay, let's all change Anya next!"

[toxic34]

Anya smiled and laid down for her change.

They switched around their roles from before. This time, Alexei unfastened and disposed of the messy diaper, Maria wiped Anya clean, Olga powdered her up, and Tatiana taped her into a fresh nappy.

Anya kissed them all in thanks. Smiling happily. She handed Olga her pacifier.

Olga gratefully received it and she suckled on it contentedly. At the same time, her younger siblings meticulously changed her diaper.

"I bet this feels so much better, doesn't it?" Anya asked her eldest sister.

[AJbestpony]

"Yes it does," Olga admitted, wiggling her toes as her new diaper was taped into place.

Tatiana took a while. Every time they were going to proceed, she farted and messed herself a little more.

Eventually, they decided to just let her be for the moment and skip ahead to Maria instead.

She smiled and giggled through her change. "I feel lighter than air."

"After how much weight you lost after that last dump, I'm not surprised," Olga said jokingly. By now, Tatiana had finally stopped filling her diaper. But it was almost thrice its original size now.

"You must really have eaten too much," Anya teased as they changed her.

[AJbestpony]

"Well, excuse me for having a healthier appetite," Tatiana remarked. It took her siblings a while to fully clean her messy bottom.

After powdering and rediapering her, they giggled and ran to their parents' bedchamber.

Nicholas and Alexandra were in the process of changing Dimitri, who blushed when the prince and princesses entered the bedchamber.

"Good morning!" they said, smiling widely at their parents.

[AJbestpony]

"Good morning," Nicholas greeted his children, as he and Alexandra finished taping Dimitri into a fresh diaper. Once they were finished, the Empress picked her son-in-law up and declared "Let's have some breakfast now."

"How about eggs and bacon?" Marie asked with a smile.

[AJbestpony]

"Excellent choice, Maria," Nicholas told his third daughter approvingly. They all made their way to the dining room.

They all sat down and smiled at the army of maids and servants greeting them for the day.

"Clearly, they're all overjoyed to see you," Dimitri observed as he and his new family were served breakfast expediently.

They all took their seats and dug in.

(That's good to know. I haven't been to a water park in so long.)

Alexandra insisted on feeding Alexei herself. She still wasn't comfortable with her hemophiliac boy handling cutlery.

(It's quite nice. And I was a bit pleased, as a child of the '90s, to get my Pepsi in a cup with the recent retro logo revivals I grew up with)

Alexei smiled and ate up quite eagerly. Alexandra was so protective, she even gave him baby talk.

(That's cool. As a fellow person born from the 90's, I know just what you mean)

"Eat it all up, my sweet baby boy," Alexandra cooed, stopping every now and then to wipe her only son's mouth.

(I just was a bit happy seeing the return of the capital letters and 3D globe. I wasn't old enough to have Crystal Pepsi in its original version, but I jumped in with both feet during the revival, and was pleased. Same with McDonald's Szechuan sauce. Now I just want them to bring back the Arch Deluxe, and I'm complete)

He smiled and ate quite eagerly.

Soon, breakfast was finished. "Alright, now that we've eaten, what next?" Dimitri asked.

(Who knows. So many elements of my childhood are being revived and coming back, this might be another one of them)

"Well, I guess we can start with really shaping up our image with our volunteer ideas," Anya said.

"Brilliant idea, my clever girl," Nicholas stated in approval, ruffling his youngest daughter's hair. "Where shall we start? The orphanages?"

"I think so," she said with a smile. "Besides, I like being with children."

[AJbestpony]

"Well, according to Dimitri, you may soon have one of your own," Alexandra commented, making the former servant boy blush. "Shall we head out then?" Olga proposed.

Anya nodded and they made their way on out.

Alexandra got the idea to place Alexei in an adult-sized stroller. That would ensure he minimized the risk of bleeding or getting hurt.

He just smiled as he was pushed by his mother.

As the Czar and his family made their way to the orphanage, many of the passersby saluted or bowed in respect. The rest seemed indifferent, but none were being openly hostile.

They arrived at the orphanage and were greeted warmly by everyone.

[AJbestpony]

"Welcome, Your Majesties, Your Highnesses!" the establishment's owner declared giddily. "Thank you so much for lending a hand. We are quite understaffed as things stand."

"Think nothing of it." They went over to see the children.

[AJbestpony]

Naturally, the orphans were thrilled to actually meet the royal family. They seemed especially attached to Anya and Dimitri.

Anya smiled and showed herself to have maternal instincts, and her sisters were also quite naturally gifted.

"Pwincess Anya, I made a drawing of you!" one of the younger children lisped, showing a picture he had sketched himself.

[toxic34]

"Oh, thank you very much!" She took it and hugged the boy.

[AJbestpony]

"Could you make one of me next?" Tatiana joked, kneeling in front of the boy.

[toxic34]

"I'd be happy to!" He began to draw.

[AJbestpony]

Before anyone knew what was happening, the boy had drawn a picture of each member of the royal family. They were all impressed with how talented he was with a sketchpad. "What is your name, my boy?" Nicholas asked in interest.

"Boris," he said with pride.

[AJbestpony]

"Well, Boris," the Czar declared, "It happens the royal artist is planning to retire, and we have yet to select his replacement. You may be young, but would you be interested in becoming his apprentice?"

[toxic34]

"You really mean that?" He was excited to be given a home.

[AJbestpony]

"Of course," Nicholas asserted. "We could have you move into the palace as soon as today, if you so wish."

[toxic34]

"I would love that! Thank you so much!"

[AJbestpony]

Nicholas and Alexandra smiled and hugged the little boy. Then they went to handle the paperwork needed to transfer him to the royal family's custody.

Anya smiled and got to further demonstrate her nurturing skills by diapering and feeding several kids.

"Looks like our baby sis has truly grown up," Maria mentioned to Tatiana, observing Anya caring for the children.

"Yeah. I hope that we're as good with our own children."

[AJbestpony]

The third princess nodded at the second princess's remark. "First things first, though," Olga cut in, hugging her younger sisters from behind, "We need to find husbands of our own."

"I'm sure they'll be throwing themselves at us in no time."

[AJbestpony]

"With our looks, how could they not?" Olga muttered in amusement. Their only concern was for Alexei. With his condition, the possibility of him finding someone to start a family with was considerably lower.

"No matter what, we'll always be there for him."

[AJbestpony]

The other two princesses nodded in agreement. Soon, the paperwork was done, and Boris was officially a ward of the royal family.

They took him on back to the palace at once.

Boris was astounded by the magnificence of the palace. "This place is incredible!" he shouted in awe. His voice could be hear echoing throughout the corridors.

"I always felt that way growing up," Dimitri said.

[AJbestpony]

"So, where will I be sleeping?" Boris asked politely. He assumed he would be sharing a room with the children of the palace staff, as he had always done the same with the other children at the orphanage.

"You can have any of the guest rooms, Boris."

[AJbestpony]

"All to myself?" the boy was stunned.

[toxic34]

"Yes. You deserve your own room."

[AJbestpony]

Boris was ecstatic. He chose the room that was closet to the royal family suites.

"What do you think of it, dear?"

[AJbestpony]

"It's splendid!" Boris declared, "Much nicer than anything I could have hoped for. Thank you all so much!"

They hugged him and left him to it. Meanwhile, the doctor had come to confirm whether Anya was pregnant.

Olga, Tatiana, Maria, and Alexandra all squealed in delight. Dimitri embraced his wife and spun her around happily.

"I can't believe it! I'm going to be a mother!"

[AJbestpony]

"And I'm going to be a grandfather," Nicholas announced proudly, tearing up a bit. Alexei came over to hug his father.

They smiled at that. Of course, Anya was going to be fretted over and made to rest in bed a lot.

"As you wish," Dimitri acknowledged. He climbed out of bed and waddled his way to the kitchen. He encountered the Empress when he got there.

She smiled. "What does she want right now?" she asked with a smile. "Is it ice cream? I always had a lot of it during my pregnancies."

Dimitri smiled and nodded his head. "You know it, Mommy." She and Nicholas had insisted he address them as "Mommy" and "Daddy," which he enjoyed doing.

"Thankfully, I wasn't difficult during them. Anya has inherited that."

"So she has," said Dimitri. He then got the container of ice cream and went to satisfy Anya. Just as her son-in-law left, Alexandra started wetting her diaper.

She smiled and went over to a maid for her to change her.

She soon encountered a young woman named Natalia, one of the more attractive and endowed maids. She smiled and asked "Do you need a diaper change, Your Majesty?"

Natalia grinned and said flirtatiously "Come this way, Your Majesty." She took Alexandra's hand and led her to a private chamber.

Alexandra smiled and laid down to be changed by Natalia.

Natalia removed the soaking padded and disposed of it. Then she began wiping the Empress's nether regions, sensually.

Alexandra smiled and moaned a bit, bucking her hips.

Natalia smirked and began rubbing harder. "You're a naughty empress, aren't you?" she teased.

"Oh yes, I'm naughty and I deserve to be punished!"

Natalia smiled and stopped rubbing. Then she powdered Alexandra and put her in a fresh diaper. "In that case... stand up and strip, baby girl."

She smiled and did so for the lovely maid.

Natalia then got out a pair of handcuffs and fastened them on Alexandra's wrists behind her back. She then whispered "Now, let's go for a walk throughout the palace."

She smiled as they walked together.

At one point, they came across Nicholas and Alexei being babied by Olga, Tatiana, and Maria.

"How are you doing, dears?" she asked quite happily.

"I'm quite enjoying myself," Nicholas admitted. He was dressed in a onesie that fit him perfectly, whereas Alexi wore a cute dress.

"I'm glad to see that. Girls, you're getting great practice for motherhood."

"That's a good point, Mommy," Olga remarked, feeling under her father's onesie to see if he needed changing.

He was quite messy at this moment.

Olga grinned, and she prepared to change her father's diaper.

Nicholas laid perfectly still for his eldest daughter.

Olga removed the bottom of Nicholas' onesie, and then she unfastened his diaper and started to wipe him.

He giggled at the sensation.

"You're so cute, Daddy," Olga cooed as she powdered her father up and fastened him into a fresh diaper. Then she fixed his onesie.

"Thank you very much. Are those young blades coming over today?" Olga, Tatiana and Marie were in committed relationships by now.

"Yes, they are, Daddy," Tatiana replied, smiling dreamily. Now, all they needed was to find someone for Alexei.

Olga sighed as well. She was quite happy with her other half.

Maria sighed as well, as she was smitten with her beau. Finally, Alexei sighed, but his was one of sadness. Concerned, Natalia approached the prince and asked him "Are you alright, Your Highness?"

Natalia placed a comforting hand on both of Alexei's shoulders. She told him gently "Have faith. I'm certain you'll find someone to love you. Isn't that right, Your Majesty?" Alexandra was still naked except for her nappy with her hands tied behind her back a few feet away.
