Just letting off steam.

For those of you who think this is an RP, shut up and get out. I'm letting off steam, not trolling or flaming. Post something retarded as a remark, and you will obligate me to harass you.

I've been pissed all day for various reasons, those of which I'm not going to mention. I created this since I heard writing letters is a great way to let off steam. I seriously think that some users of this site need to know when to shut up, again I'm not going to name them off; you probably know who you are.

Another thing I hate is when people are too fucking lazy to spell their words - you're on the internet, not a fucking phone... you probably spend all the free-time you have on the internet, at least make your chat legible instead of the abbreviation shit.

Yet another thing I'd like to point out is: the desire some users have to make posts that either have extended text that distort the homepage to being something retarded; so that there is actually a horizontal scroll bar on the page then. THAT, and how some users post messages to pictures in the gallery, when the posts are on pictures RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER IN A CATEGORY. WE GET THE POINT, YOU ADMIRE THE ARTISTS' WORK.

One last bit of rage I have towards gallery posts, or posts in general. Expand your fucking vocabulary, it seems like every day I stop by this site to check up on anything new; I manage to see at least one "Recent gallery posts" or whatever, have SOMEONE saying "Cute", probably one, if not THE MOST OVERUSED WORD ON THIS SITE. Oh, and users that OVERUSE A CERTAIN PHRASE, are just annoying; and you should quit the site, or (AGAIN) LEARN NEW WORDS. It's not that hard to make new dialogue.

Which brings me to another thing that pisses me off. To those of you who worship Roleplays and can't seem to stop creating them, that's perfectly okay, however: STOP CREATING THE SAME FUCKING ROLEPLAY 10 TIMES, I SWEAR, I'VE SEEN OVER 10 DIFFERENT THREADS PERTAINING TO THE SAME ANIME. If you are one of those people who create a roleplay because you have an obsession for the thing you're creating at the time fine, but once you grow old and more or less abondon the roleplay, DON'T CREATE ANOTHER ROLEPLAY THAT IS THE SAME STORY, WITH DIFFERENT BASE CHARACTERS, YOU'RE RETARDED AND I WILL TRY MY BEST TO MAKE YOU CRY UNTIL A MOD OR ADMIN STEPS IN.

And now I shift to my final topic, people who comment saying PIXEL ANIMATION IS EROTIC? What kind of life do you possess? - Close to none, if any at all. There is this magnificent thing called getting into a relationship, you know it happens in real life; when you get off your ass and actually socialize with people, you should try it some time; it's AMAZING.

Erm.. I don't think that's the type of typing he was talking about.. he's more or less complaining about people's spelling and grammar in general. You know - The people who can't type out whole words like "you" or "are"

There's a great number of people here who can't spell basic words correctly and use them in a sentence. Seriously people who type in gibberish, get a dictionary and practice writing, we can't understand what you guys are saying. I'm probably adding more fuel to the rage, but I do find it stupid for people who post up the same pictures on the gallery although its been deleted by the mods numerous times. I fully agree with you on those topics, my spelling is off because of my dyslexia but I at least try. Baby talk doesn't bother me in roleplays or such but it does annoy me when people can't talk like a respectable person at least once in a while I know more "Magic and WoW" nerds who use a larger vocabalary then most in real life.I will admit to be lazy sometimes but I like to show my intellect off. I have to agree with the OP in this case, I to have a pretty big hatred for short-hand, or, text style typing. It's understandable when used on a cellphone, but the internet is not a cell-phone and being that this site is 18+, there is absolutely no excuse to not type in full grammar and sentences with at least proper spelling.

After all, 18+ usually means that you are either a senior in high school or already graduated and work, attending a university, or college or what-not - once again, no excuse.

The only time it might be an excuse is, as Yubel stated, for people who are dyslexic. But, I highly DOUBT everyone who types short hand here or text type are dyslexic..

Ok, my eyes have stopped bleeding. I've only posted three RPs on this site, and none of them are even officially RPs yet. They're all still in the recruiting stage, hell, one isn't even an RP it's just me asking for Para-Rpers who would like to join me in either one-on-one or forum based group play. But, enough shameless advertising.

I personally believe that grammar is the best thing in the world, and those who use it are godsends upon the internet. I agree with Crow in many aspects of his post, hell, I think I agree with them all to be honest. I've seen the word "cute" so many times I never want to say it again.

One last thing in regards to this babytalk BS, while it is annoying (I'm going to say that right off the bat, I know very few two to five year olds who A:Have a lisp B:Talk like they have some sort speech impediment, or C:Combine the two.) it's part of the play style for a lot of people.

P.S.
I don't speak German or Mandarin, so muff that. I speak and write fluent English, and I like it that way. I say shorthand gets you shot. End of story.

We probably need a thread like this... somewhere for people in general to let off some steam and have a real bout of "FUUUUUUUUUUUU!". Of course as long as it is not mainly used for trolling and harrassing other people on the board. I agree, however, with the initial rage regarding certain users: why not TRY to use good, well-formulated and sophisticated language? It isn't that hard really; plus it helps stimulate the verbal parts of the brain.

Now, if nobody has anything to say about it, I thought I'd have my own little tirade of hardly-contained fury. I've been in discussion with several people over the last few days, regarding legalizing taste in the context of how you want to intoxicate yourself. I must say that I find it annoying how the majority of people still quote the same over-used and retarded arguments that is singularily based upon bad statistics, quasi science and propaganda. I've even had the "smoke hashish once and you become addicted and start on heavier drugs"-bullshit thrown into my face.

I seriously thought intelligence and research had won through at least some of the murkier parts of the sea of sludge and bad rhetoric that this topic seem to conjure up. But what do I expect? We are still ruled by a group of people who are only interested in keeping us producing. Those who think that the goverment wants people who can think critically and reflected for themselves, should get their heads out of their ass.

And people, even in a secular and relatively enlightened country like Norway, seem to just tolerate this stuff and not say anything about it. Only a slight minority cares about the inconsistency of the drug debate, and they usually get their buttocks zerg-rushed by the masses of hysterical dickwads who does not even look this stuff up, but only follows old-fashioned ways of thinking.

Alright, I shall stop now. Most likely will this create a shitstorm of unforseeable magnitude... but hell: it's for the lulz.

You hit it on the nail right there; I check the gallery everyday at one or two am (it's sometimes the ONLY time I can be on, since everyone else is asleep :P)

Anyway, I don't know HOW many times I see repeat pictures, especially in SIN and a few other areas (it's one of the reasons I wish I was a moderator for the gallery, since I do a lot of favoriting of SIN pictures and tend to know when one's a repeat or not)

Heck, just this mornign alone I found uploads of two different pictures that had been uploaded over a YEAR ago.

I don't know why, but it seems uploaders just CAN'T check the actual gallery to see if an image has already been loaded! :mad:

Internet Exploder has yet to implement one even in IE 8 (let alone setting it for something like Canadian English) I think people are forgetting that when they start debating spell check. There is also a word in this reply where the dictionary failed on as well (so its not the end all and be all to solve literacy issues).

My rant: The newbies who make their obligatory 10 posts before their no longer moderated on pictures as one word spam. At least if your going to make them there post something more meaningful than "I love it" 10 times and make a decent first impression.

Some of the spacings are wrong. And it's extremely hard to read Korean if somebody does the spacing in a very horrible way.

This is why I sometimes prefer North Korean standard written language... easier to read than the South Korean counterpart, actually.
