A Long Vacation

Jade wasn't happy... Why may you ask? She was basically dropped off at other relatives during summer vacation ... But atleast this time it has a purpose the Longs are for the most part a sort of half human and Half-dragon family meaning she atleast can keep a eye out for if the dragon talisman power manifists in this distant relative family of hers'' So Uncle said you're all part dragon.'' Jade said while eating a apple thankfully the father of the family is out as Jade is so used to talking about magic openly she isn't aware the long family keep the father of Jake and Hailey out of the loop .

Hailey nods excitedly turning her arm into a little pink dragon claw. "Yup be careful when dad's around though we never told him" she said with a grin" you'll be staying in my room if you wanna come see we got it set up for you" she offered her hand with a bright grin skipING with jade who much to Hailey joy was very similair size to herself.

She brought the girl up to her room which was done in nothing but pinks with dolls and various posters on the walls but across from her bed was a smaller one a it was smaller than a twin and was probably an old kiddie bed that had the rails removed even if you could still see where they screwed in.

The bed had mlp blankets bed sheets and a plush. "I grew out of my little pony a year ago but when we talked on the phone a lady named viper mentioned you loved it so I dug thistuff up" she said x cutely "I hope you like it."

I have my fill of those do to magic misshaps''Jade grumbled not at all liking she can fit into a older model one as cribs used to be made where kids her physical size could fit in them for some reason... Its even worse she is smaller yet older then Hailey. But add insult to injury she is stuck sleeping in a room thats so girly

"So what kinds of stuff do you like to do?" She decided to ask their would be plenty of chances to go swimming together over the summer. And some of her old baithing suits would fit.

She liked the tv on putting mlp on for the girl to watch while she combed a dolls hair.

Her mother brought up some snacks for the both of them in normal glasses and snadwhiches.

The food was sugary and sweet while Hailey frowned. "We're aquainted" she said uncomfortably he was one of the urban legends of the dragon world a sort of old world god he was supposedly one of the first and most powerful dragons.

"Why do you ask?" She asked curiously. She decided to play with her doll house for a moment.

''Shendu is well real ''Jade wanted to brag about how she destroyed Shendu's physical form but she didn't want to get off on Haileys bad side or the like'' And his powers are well scattered resurfacing '' Jade cringed a tiny bit not sure how else to explain being here thats the truth outside of the vacation reason''do to his talismans was destroyed and you or someone else who's a dragon thus might get his combustion power '' . Still even this chat shows Jade isn't used to not talking about magic almost like a little kid who doesn't know to keep there mouths shut

still its easy to tell Jade tossed manners away when she realized just how sugary and sweet her share of the food and drink was

Hailey found the girl to be a bit weird did she have ADD she lost focus so quickly. She shrugged who would beleive this little tyke actually knew anything to begin with. She smiled bright as she finished eating and smirked "we should stay up late and watch some movies." She went to her clost and got some old pink pajama bottoms and an old mlp shirt.

She frowned they were slightly big on jade and she knew her footsie pjs would fit better but she figured jade wouldn't handle them well.

She smiled "I really like scary movies but I don't know what you'd rather watch." There was a stack of dvds that held tons of horror flicks Hailey probably shouldn't watch and a couple old care bears movies. "What do you wanna watch."

Jade unaware of the thoughts going around with Hailey the matter at hand is Jade was so used to having to switch her focus from Jackies foes and even some of Uncles foes mixed was in truth used to switching focus at random and her knacked for getting regressed aided her ADD like behavior

''I can tell in this case we may get along''Jade said on the matter as Jackie even has to sneak around Uncles extremist rules on media so Jade hadn't said much on the horror movies as she popped a random movie in as despite herself not wanting to watch a hero movie she wants to fit in

The first movie was slow going at first. Before the first of many jump scares with a horrific killing scenes. Ironically the way they pulled this off was viewing the kill through the reflection of a mirror in an amazing shot.

Hailey watched jade carefully while she watched the movie. She was gauging whether jade can actually handle the film.

Jade was already showing sighs Hailey only gets when its rather late at night after a marathon ... So when the jumpscare happened she gave a flinch and squeezed the pony plushie that Jade ascendingly finally noticed was around half her size

Jade was already showing signs she was terrified which made Hailey frown the smaller girl was so cute holding the giant plushie well not so much giant as it was jade was tiny. "Hey jade are you okay" she wouldnt shut it off unless jade asked her the poor girl was trting to act tough.

She knew regard less the girl was watching carebears after this. She wondered how old jade actually was for the 2nd time that day but shrugged she knew they aren't that far apart.

She wondered if jade was a rough sleeper and would fall out of her kiddie bed since the rails weren't on it anumore.

''I'm fine ... Just wasn't expecting that '' Jade insisted as she wondered personally what was wrong with her? She has dealt with pyscho's and even someone who was willing to end all human life even had been told the being ate humans.. yet a movie scares her like this? Had the varies regressions took such a toll on her that this gets to her?

Hailey would find Jade is a rough sleeper in fact Jade has pillows by her bed at Jackies to fall on if she rolls out of the bed

HaI let frowas at how scared the girl seemed. The movie progressively does more and more scenes inbolting mirrors and dark suspense. Hailey decided to go and hold jade in a tight hug. "It's okay to be scared you know?" She cooed. She frownedas she hooked up an old night light for the girl.

Faced criminal masterminds and even fixed the timeline once after Shendu altered it . this shouldn't scare me'' Its clear Jade was tellling the truth but honestly frustrated a stupid movie was scaring her this much. Jade even missing the fact a nightlight was plugged in

The movie finished up and hailey was a little surprised the girl made it without wetting herself. She put the care bears movie on and turned off the lights leaving the night light on. She wrapped the blanket around jade tucking her in before going to bed herself. When she woke up the first thing she noticed was hade on the floor.

Second thing likely to notice is Jade was curled up in a ball in her sleep muttering what would be scared mutters over the film last night among other childish oddities like thumbsucking while asleep

Hailey felt bad for the poor girl she shook her head. The tiny girl was curled up hugging the pony and suckling her thumb like an actual baby. She frowned shaking the girl's shoulders. "Jade wake up." She frowned "do you fall out of bed alot?" She asked worriedly for the poor tiny girl. "We'll have to head down for breakfast soon."

When they arrived the family was already eating breakfast. Jake was rushing out the door to meat up with his friends while Hailey parents asked the girl's how they slept. "Jade falls out of bed alot" Hailey said with concern rather than scorn.

Ms Long shook her head'' She should have told us I'll get it sorted.'' Ms. Long already has plans to talk to this 'Viper' she talked to earlier as she was informed of Jades mishaps in magic by Uncle and felt like if Jade is keeping secrets its best to get all the info she can .


Meanwhile Jade was eating her own breakfast in her own little world as she is getting regular modern breakfast food instead of the weird foods Uncle tends to end up having them all eat ''I do not, I said occasionally'' of course she'd deny the truth and she gave the telling factors of a lie there

Hailey frowned at the girl as she tirelessly explained away any magic jade brought up as playing pretend to her father who as always accepted without question.

Meawhile mrs. Long left the table and called this viper. She said jade was meant to be in pullups and at minimum needed rails on the bed. She mentioned cribs being safer. She listed a whole other host of rules and things jade needed.

"I just got off the phone with viper anything you wanna tell us" she frowned

Jade shook her head'' Nope...most of ...my issues problems aren't a thing unless something triggers them..outside of the bed thing''Jade said doing her best to avoid the words or terms that is magic related as this is the first time she has to have hid the truth in a long time. After all her parents have accepted Jade prefers living with Jackie and Uncle

"That's not what she told me. " She said crossing her arms. "She also told me your a terrible liar" she said with a frown. "I'm going to go put rails back on your bed." She frowned "but then we're going shopping." She smiled waving her husband out the door as he left for work. Then she headed upstairs and put rails back onto jades bed.
She came back down the stairs with a carseat and a smile "you ready for some shopping girls?" She asked excitedly. as Hailey nodded before wondering why her mother was holding her old car seat.

''No'' Jade was already not at all happy with this... She thought she'd gotten away from all the regressive madness and over worried Viper set up as the truth is she still has effects of the regressions pop up regularly enough... but then Jade wondered something '' Is there a magic shopping district hidden away?'' Jade asked as she may not want babied but she could perhaps endure it if its magic related.

"Nope now come on let's go." She brought the girl to the car and set up the car seat which was bright pink. "Hop in jade" she smiled buckling the girl in as Hailey hopped in next to her.

Hailey frowned "you still need carseats?" She asked curiously looking at the smaller girl.

Jade frowned back at Hailey arms crossed '' Long story short Magic regression one way or another seems to be my fate even the badguys have prepared for cases encase I get regressed at this point ''Jade explained vaguely to Hailey as its true the badguys have in general started having a minor area and supplies prepared if Jade got regressed or suffering lingering effects

"Is that why your so small?" She asked wondering. The woman in the front smiled

"Viper said at this point it's better to just treat you like a toddler she also mentioned your potty training still hasn't recovered." She said with a smile "we have a lot to buy." She pointed out as they pulled into the parking lot of a large main brand baby store jade visited far too often.

Jade groaned'' Unsure... My size could just be genetics ''Jade offered to Hailey as much as she hates to admit it and Jade can see the fact Hailey already seems to like the concept of babying her... yet at the ' Baby's R' Us ' store Jade hid her face ''Can we go to any other store besides this one? I have practically memorized the general store layout and locations of items'' Jade wasn't being bossy she just hates this store as she has been to it so freaken often the store near where she lives has discounted anyone who comes in to buy things for Jade.

"We'll make it quick alright baby?" She smiled setting jade in the shopping carts baby seat while Hailey followed her mother close behind. First they got a couple packs of pull-ups. Then she grabbed a some packages of diapers some pacifiers.

Then she went to the back and got a collapsable playpen a training potty. Alon with some bottles and dippy cups. "Do we need anything else. She wondeed throwING in some changing supplies. The diapers were extra thick and the pullups extra absorbent.

Jade was doing her best to hide her face not wanting her chance at friends ruined as the shopping proceeded but upon the louder then normal question on the items she noticed pacifiers was gotten and even some potty training chart''I need to go to the restroom Ms.Long ''Jade piped up as she felt the end result of the food less healthy then she is used to wanting out of her

"Sure Hailey can you take jade to the potty while I ring all thus up." She smiled scooping jade out of the seat aND hailey took her hand. Mrs long got some swim diapers.

Hailey brough the girl to the bathroom. There was a decent line 3 people infront of them as Hailey held jade's hand not letting go.

"Can you hold it?" She asked concerned

Jade was frowning as she had the classic potty dance going on'' Maybe''Jade offered with a blush but it'll be revealed thats a negative on able to hold it as right before it was her turn she had her accident thankfully for Jade her size ensures most thinking she is a little kid we just had a messy accident

Hailey frowned as jade's dance stopped she frowned the girl's pants weren't wet and that smell "jade dud you just" she frowned bring jade back to her mother. "That's a strike" she sighed gentlypicking jade up and changing her into a pullup right in the open as she marked the potty chart

"Let's get you back home."

Jade looked down''I did'' Jade offered not having wanted to admit it but there was no denying it her eyes was even slightly watery ''Home sounds good Ms. Long ''Jade wasn't going to argue after the public change and walked out in a pull-up keeping her decent

Hailey smiled after they got in the car and she buckled jade into her carseat. "We'll get home and then we can play with some toys tomorow maybe we can go to the pool?" She offered wanting jade to chear up a bit all things considered. She frowned "we'll have to set all this stuff up for you when we get home.

A playpen was set up in the living room. As mrs long began putting other things away Hailey put the chart up next to jade's bed with newly added rails.

Hailey got a pair of footed pjs out for jade to wear. "Well just play some gamesb she said leaving care bears on in the background for jade.

''Swimming sounds good''Jade was fine with swimming though she hasn't really been to a public or private pool that much add to that Hailey's old swimsuits will be borrowed for Jade meaning embarrassment

Still once at the house she helped or rather wanted to help put things up but was sat in the playpen before she had a chance to offer help'' What games?'' Jade asked having a feeling its going to be girly games

"Well we could play house or.." She was cut off by mrs. Long calling into the room. "I'm going oUT girl's Hailey you're in charge." She called. As Hailey smirked.

Hailey slipped jade into the footed pjs before ringing thedoll house over . "We could play with dolls." She wondered aloud "what was shendu like he was supposed to be super powerful?"

''Ugh you are girly'' Jade clearly wasn't a fan of either choice and now was sticking her nose up at Haileys choice of games '' As for Shendu ... Depends when we are talking without his powers he generally is weak and in a statue form till I destroyed it by accident then he has an astral form. Though believe it or not he has a soft spot for children'' Jade recalled some of the rather odd choices he made so far'' But as a dragon unsealed even without his powers he is strong but still treated lousy by his siblings ... Kinda sad really ''

Hailey got excited hea ring about shendu. She smiled ignoring the girly comments before handing her a raddle "I guess your right thats probably more your speed huh wil jade" she teased tickling the girl's stomach. She took jade out of the playpen and brought her up too there room where the new potty chart and rails on the bed were.

"So what do you wanna do?" She asked curiously.

Jade was temped to slam the raddle into Haileys head but knew better then that especially when she is a guest in the Longs home. She did get shocked though at Haileys inhuman strength in taking her out of the playpen much like a baby instead of the impossibility it should have been'' You got any Shounen anime ,action cartoons or action movies laying around?'' Jade asked wanting some action-oriented something to watch.

"Dragons are pretty strong" she giggled at the girl's shock. "A couple and some of them are pg" she says excitedly she pulls the girl close as she clicks the tv onto an episode of ranma 1/2 "you ever watch this one?" She asked curiusly.

Jade shook her head on the question but she is happy with anything any currently as she feels rather small right now ''I have to beg Uncle to watch anything not educational in some fashion when still mentally my age so no ''Jade explained as she watched the comedy based shounen series though she like usual after so many regressions started sucking her thumb from having nothing to keep her hands busy or at least nothing to suck on

Hailey smiled popping the girl's thumb out of her mouth and sticking one of the new pacifiers in. "You are so cute" she gushed at jade's utter babyish behaviour. She sighed looking at the clock jake came home from school. Along with the rest of the family coming back to the house as Hailey chatted with jade they were called down to dinner and a high chair was set where jade used to sit.

Jade hissed at the cute factor'' Am not cute.. I once had an army...armies don't follow cute'' Jade was series granted it should be obvious she is talking magic army here and thus likely a magical mishap that had her affected to have the army for abit.''No ''Jade said in displeasure at the high chair in her location

"Cute" she cooes pinching jade's mrs. Long settles the tiny girl into the chair securing her in place and putting the girl's food onto the tray "any more lip and you'll get a bib too." She warned

jake chuckled slightly while watching the spectacle. Shaking her head.

Jades eyes narrowed at Ms Long and really was feeling the desire to flip food at her because of her temper but ultimately didn't as it'd just prove the treatment proper '' Can't I atleast get some real utensils and not this dinky childish kind? '' Jade asked behind her teeth

She smiled in thought "Hailey feed jade she's being fussy"

Hailey jumps up and down standing up on her chair and spooning food up "here comes the plane baby"

Jade had clearly opened her mouth to protest proof being '' I'm not a....''' she was clearly cut off from her protest when the food was jammed in her mouth and thats when she realized her food was rather childish compared to the others food

Hailey just cooed as she fed jade. Every fuss and whine was met with another spoonful of help high fiber mush. After the bowl was cleaned Hailey helped jade out of the high chair and cleaned her face with napkins. "Can I put baby jade to bed mom?"

''I'm not a baby'' Jade protested but her protest was still childish do to the whine in her tone '' I hate this'' Jade added as Hailey was given the go ahead given Jade was deemed fussy possibly from not naping earlier

Hailey led the girl upstairs set took ng her into the railed bed tucking her in turning on the nightlight in the corner "fussy babies get an early bed time. She idly wondered if viper would be proud of how they cared for jade at the moment.

Jade hissed'' Not a baby'' Though as if on cue of Haileys wondering Jades odd little wondermouse device buzzed to life revealing instead of just a fancy toy its to put it plainly something like out of James bond only kiddified likely a item meant more for tracking Jade and keeping in contact as Vipers face appeared on the screen

Viper cooed "is my baby being well cared for" she cooed noting jade's obvious diaper snd rails on the bed.

''Too well cared for Viper''Jade said from overhearing at her location''And its mostly your fault'' Jade accused more so to blow off steam then anger as she has grown used to the fact she gets babied so much even though she hates it

"But you look so cutr" she cooed "is vipers little baby cozy" she cooed and take to jade in baby talk. "I told them they can let you out of diapers when you stay clean and dry for three days. " She said smiling. "Now be good for the longs mama loves you bye bye"

''Cozy is one way to put it'' Jade said displeased as she honestly prefered the option to fall out of her bed while asleep as its more normel still once Viper signed off Jade decided to try tuning Hailey out as she seems stuck like this currently ''Night I guess''' Jade offered to Hailey

"Night jade we'll go swimming tomorow. She cooed turning out the light for the girl.

Jade would sleep and be heard trying to wake Hailey up in the middle of the night'' Hailey ,Hey Hailey I need to go to the bathroom'' Jade couldn't get the rails undone in the dark and she doesn't want to climb over the railings knowing what Viper would do when she did

Hailey was snoring quitely but yawned stretching "be what's wrong jade?" She cooed in concern.

''Bathroom need it...been trying to wake you like a hour.'' Jade was brief as she was doing the potty dance in the railed bed much like a baby might

"I'm sorry sweetie" she cooed tho given jade's track ecord she doubted it had been an hour. She lowered the rails and scooped jade up.

She walked slowly to the bathroom it was locked however jake shouted "occupied" as hailey held the girl close.

Jade wasn't happy about the doubtful look she got but even more so given the bathroom is occupied'' If hes about to shower who cares?'' Jade though had to clarify the odd statement''Used to Jackie and Uncle at odd hours bathing do to work'' Though upon saying that her potty dance was slowing as she started to wet herself till she totally was done '' Forget it ''Jade muttered haed hung

"Come on let's get you cleaned up" she cooed bringing the girl back to their room and changing her into a fresh diaper. She then tucked the girl in a ND began reading a story book.

''Hey ''Jade whined at the change '' I could change myself '' Jade stated not happy about it but happened fought too afraid of possibly facing more humiliation that would be relayed to Mss. Long But after settling down she sleep for the right of the night

Hailey woke up jade the next morning. She woke jade up for breakfast "ready to go to the beach today?"

''Depends ''Jade said in a manner akin to Hailey when she was still in the throws of potty training not that Hailey recalls those times unless dragons memories are better then humans too''And I don't need water wings'' Well in truth she does if she goes too far into the water but she is too proud to admit it

She smirked "that's not what I heard. " She cooed drEssington jade in a swim diaper Pino onepice swimsuit and a pair of water wings. Before finishing with a large inflatable duck ring around the girl's waist. She then forcibly applied sunscreek to the girl's nose and arms.

''I can't prance around like this ''Jade whined finger going to her mouth as waterproof sunscreen was forcefully applied to her like a little child as she was getting upset and that can bring about thumbsucking in her . Though she did giggle abit at the sunscreen on her nose as its a sensitive ticklish spot and in general sensitive to anything that aren't baby related. ''Ah come on'' Jade whined again seeing the packed lunch getting handed to Hailey to care for and what is clearly Jades packed lunch and snackage aswell as drinks being the kind toddlers have only sized up

She made sure too pack everything jade might need includding sippy cups smacks and the like.she took jade's hand leading the smaller girl outside where she began walking the girl to the lake front.

Jade was somewhat waddling like a duck do to the floatation devices and padding between her legs, All she really needed to complete the look of a toddler taken to a swim would be false flippers on her feet and she'd be the spitting image of a larger then normal toddler ready for fun taken by a older girl. Though Jade wasn't pleased at this she does hope Hailey is somewhat reckless and allows a standard summertime treat of icecream at the beach when the icecream truck would come . Granted Jade is aware the after affects she'd face but the enjoyment from it would be worth it

Hailey made sure the girl got settled in the water. Before setting their beach blanket down.

She got in the water with the girl gently playing and splashing with her for about an hour or so. Before bringing the girl back to the blanket feading jade her lunch and giving her the sippy cup.

Jade wasn't happy to be feed but she was minorly concerned compared to if she was where people knew her as in this case she can be passed off by strangers as an abnormally large toddler'' Can we have icecream?'' Jade asked unsure if Hailey is allowed or not add to that she is unsure if Hailey is aware how sugar in large amounts affect Jade and not in a hyper way anymore sense her varies regressions, but in needing the potty more at this piont. Sure it'd made Jade be more childish and she hates the added need of the toilet but she'd rather suffer some minor humiliation in place of not having sweets.

Hailey nods bringing the girl up. She grabbed a vanilla swirl for herself. Then she got whatever jade wanted and made sure to put a bib on the girl. "Enjoy baby." She cooed

Jade was quick to get the banana flavored Icecream and started enjoying her treat for once not worrying about Uncle finding out what might aswell be contraband food in the house and against her own dietary set up was involved.'' The girls coordinateion was quickly shot as she drank she'd be barely capable of crawling she cooed as the babe drank. The girls belly was getting a tad plumper her cheeks more pinch able as a layer of bany fat settled she just began to get smaller now lbeing roughly 4 years old.

Jade wasn't happy but her hunger came first by the time she was done she noticed her hands was chubbier and her look in general was infact more or less around a 4 year old and wailed as she hasn't been physically regressed sense was it the mirror or another fountain of youth variant? she isn't sure which she was exposed to in the past last but she hates it as she is in this loop of regression in one way or another for awhile now

Jade nodded seeing how Hailey was seemingly miserable, still Jade was suckling her bottle too used to the routine to even make a fuss or care to talk when its time for a bottle or nap time despite her dislike of both

Hailey drifted off too with a pitiful mewl. They were awoken from nap time and each girl got a change before dinner time

(Fun fact despite I forget if it was Japan or China if not both whichever it is kids there tend to love Broccoli and hate green peppers so felt like playing with that)
