Magical Mystery Mishap (private with AmaraDash)

Firefly flitted about the cloudhouse with nerviness excitement. What's there to worry about? she chided herself, immediately before the snarky pessimist in her head began rolling off a list of everything that could go wrong. Getting lost, getting bullied, getting hurt, not making friends, making the wrong friends, losing her lunch before she could eat it, losing her lunch after she ate it... the list went on. Come on, Firefly, she told herself. Since when have any of those things happened to your children, ever? She'll be fine.

But logic never did much to stop her worries. That was just how being a mother worked. So instead of trying some more to calm her nerves, she just ran through the checklist one more time of things she needed to do.

Prepare breakfast and lunch. Done. A bowl of oats was already laid on the table, and a metal tin was stuffed with apples and hayseed. Nothing was wrong. And besides, it's about time to get her up. Firefly proceeded to the back of the house, knocking on her daughter's door.

"Rise and shine, Rainbow Dash, darling! It's your first day of school!"

Across Cloudsdale, Fluttershy remained asleep, in the throes of a bad dream.

(Clever title.)

Rainbow Dash opened her eyes slowly. Hearing her mother's voice she wondered why she was hearing it. Not that she didn't love her mother, but why? She shouldn't have to get up for another hour or so judging by the sun outside. And what's this talk of school? She'd already graduated two years ago. She had a job clearing the clouds in Ponyville. Oh well, her mother would know what's going on. She groaned and got out of bed. Everything seemed....bigger. She was not in Ponyville anymore.

Across town Fluttershy's father banged on his daughter's door. "Fluttershy! I thought I told you to get up already! Stop wasting my time and get out of bed."

Fluttershy moaned in response, still too asleep to really understand what was being asked of her. She adjusted in bed, hugging her pillow tightly. The nighttime diaper around her was damp, but only of sweat. In her dream she was being chased by a dragon while desperately looking for a bathroom.

Not hearing a response from her daughter, Firefly became worried. "Dashie?" she asked. "Is everything all right in there?"

"Mom? What's going on?" Rainbow Dash was small again. She had no clue what was going on, or where she was. She took a step and felt something wet. "And I'm wet for some reason..."

"FLUTTERSHY! GET UP NOW! IT'S TIME TO GET READY FOR SCHOOL!!!" He bellowed, annoyed that his daughter hadn't replied.

Fluttershy's mother, Warm Skies, though her coat was yellow like her daughter's, placed her hoof on her husband's shoulder. He was unusually rough with their daughter. "I'll wake her up ok? No need to yell."

(Feel free to give her mother a better name, I got nothing XD)

Firefly felt pity as her daughter described the state of her nighttime diaper. She pushed open the door and lifted up the small filly. "Oh, champ," she said. "It's alright. You just had another accident. It's okay. You'll get the hang of it eventually; I know it. Just hang in there."

The shout shocked Fluttershy awake, but it also caused her to release her bladder. She was disoriented and didn't understand where she was. Nothing looked familiar, and her perspective seemed askew. The first thing she noticed and actually understood was the sensation of wetness spreading around her hind legs. She whimpered, unable to stop the flow.

"An accident? Why am I small? I feel like I'm six mom!" She squeaked out despite being probably not six. By now Rainbow Dash noticed the state of her diaper. Wait diaper? Why was she suddenly wearing a diaper? "What's going on!"

Warm Skies entered her daughter's room. "You ok sweetie? Did you have another accident? Mama's here. DOn't worry. We'll get you cleaned up ok?"

Her father grunted as he walked to the kitchen. That filly was a disgrace to his family.

Fluttershy was very confused at the sight of her parents. "Mom?" she squeaked. "What's going on? Why are you here? Why is Dad here? Where is here?" She felt the garment around her. "Why am I wearing a diaper?"

Firefly had to try hard not to laugh. Her daughter was frightened, and she empathized with her daughters worry, but it was still adorable. "That's because you are six, kiddo. I think you're still waking up from a bad dream. Today's your first day of school, remember?"

Warm Skies tried not to laugh at her daughter's confusion. Today was a really big day for her and she was probably still tired. "Oh Fluttershy, it's ok. You still wet the bed on occasion. DOn't listen to your father ok?"

"Six? I'm twenty! What am I doing at home? I'm supposed to be in my cloudhouse in Ponyville!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "Well why am I wearing diapers then. Please tell me I'm toilet trained."

Firefly giggled what she assumed was her daughter's imagination. "A cloudhouse in Ponyville this time?" she asked. "I thought you were a Wonderbolt. And of course you're toilet trained. This was just a nighttime issue. Now what do you say we get you out of it and clean you up?"

Fluttershy nodded meekly. She still didn't understand what was going on, but she trusted her mother.

Rainbow Dash was picked up and taken to the changing table in her room. As she lay there for a few minutes, she looked around the room. This WAS her room from when she was a filly. Why was she here now? Why did she suddenly need diapers? She was confused.

"Now why don't I get my little filly cleaned up and ready for school. I bet you'll make tons of friends!" Warm Skies had always been overly optimistic.

Flutterhsy was feeling overwhelmed. "Thank you," she said, stuttering. The damp diaper was beginning to bother her, and she didn't know what was going on. She was just going to let her mother handle everything.

Firefly whistled a tune as she prepared to clean up her daughter. Even though she often took pride in being tough-as-nails, she enjoyed being able to look after and baby her daughter. She pulled open Rainbow's diaper and began to wipe her down. "You'll grow out of this," she assured her. "But perhaps we should limit what you drink before you go to bed."

Rainbow Dash wasn't going to squirm or complain. She wanted to get out of this diaper. "So ummm.... where am I going today?" She knew she was apparently heading to school, but which one?

Warm Skies lay Fluttershy down on her changing table and removed Fluttershy's diaper. She wiped her daughter's private area and applied a bit of powder. "Get your training pants on and I'll get your breakfast ready sweetie."

Firefly was worried by her daughter's confusion. "Rainbow Dash, are you feeling alright? You're going to school." She finished wiping her off and set her back down on the floor.

"Training pants?" Fluttershy was just as confused as Rainbow Dash.

"I'm just really confused mom. Last I remember I was going to go see Fluttershy for a picnic near her cottage. I've honestly have no idea what's going on." Rainbow Dash walked with her mother to the kitchen. Thankfully her parents had always adored her.

"Yes sweetie. We can't have you having accidents at school. I don't think you'd make friends if you did that. Now get your training pants on and your dress on too and we'll have breakfast." Warm Skies wasn't surprised to hear a bit of confusion from her daughter. Fluttershy never really protested, but she was allowed to not wear training pants around the house.

Firefly assumed that Rainbow was making up the story for fun, so she decided to play along. "A cottage, huh? I didn't know she had a cottage. well, I promise you'll be able to see Fluttetshy a lot today at school," she told her daughter. "She's going to be in your class, street all. And afterward you can play at her house; how does that sound? Now tell me more about her cottage."

She put the bowl of oats in front of Rainbow and motioned for her to eat. She wasn't certain about leaving Rainbow alone with Fluttershy's patents. She didn't really like her father. But on the other hoof, she hoped her father would be less cruel to poor Fluttershy if there were witnesses around.

Fluttershy winced when she heard her mother mention not finding any friends at school because of accidents. In fact, that had been a real problem for her back when she was in school. The same ponies that teased her for her poor flying ability, back when none of them could fly, had found other ways to tease her instead.

"Wettershy," they had called her. She hadn't known Rainbow Dash at the time.

The questions tumbled out. "Why do I need training pants? I'm not a kid anymore. What am I even doing here? Why are you back with Dad? What's going on?"

This was just a bad dream. It had to be. Wasn't this a common theme in nightmares? Suddenly being back in school again?

Rainbow Dash heard her stomach growl and started to eat. Trying to solve this on an empty stomach wasn't going to do her any good. "At least I don't have to wear diapers during the day. I'm glad Fluttershy is here too. Maybe she is experiencing what I am too." Rainbow Dash thought to herself for a bit. School was pretty easy for her besides a few ponies so at least she wouldn't be teased or anything.

Warm Skies helped her daughter into her training pants and her dress as well. "Don't worry sweetie. Rainbow Dash is in your class! And she's coming over here to play after school. Does what make you feel any better?" She rustled Fluttershy's hair.

Fluttershy flitted nervously when her mother pulled out the training pants. She didn't understand what she was doing or why she needed them, but she couldn't find the voice to object. Instead, when her mother tried to help her step into them, she stepped back and away, shaking her head silently.

Firefly watched her daughter eat. She was still nervous about anything that could happen. "I'm going to meet you at school at the end of the day, alright? Meet me there and then we can go to Fluttershy's."

Firefly liked Fluttershy. She felt that the two fillies needed each other.

Warm Skies looked at her daughter confused. "What's wrong Fluttershy? Do you not feel well?" She's never seen her daughter refuse her training pants before. "Sweetie, I love you very much but I don't like accidents around the house, you know that. I don't think you want to be made fun of at school."

Rainbow Dash decided to shelve the mystery. She needed to talk to Fluttershy. Hopefully she wasn't mind-wiped like everypony else. "Ok mom. So I am going to FLuttershy's after school? Is her dad going to be there?" Rainbow Dash recalled her best friend's father wasn't exactly the nicest pony. He kicked her out of the house once they graduated.

Warm Skies's words were not having the desired effect on Fluttershy. Each time she mentioned being made fun of caused Fluttershy to picture the bullying she had faced as a kid. "I'm sorry," said Fluttershy, trying to put on her best brave face but feeling very small and terrified. "But I don't need p..p..pants. I don't have a..aci..acide..things."

"I don't know if her father will be there," said Firefly. "But if he is, promise you'll be polite, okay squirt? You need to be polite, even when other ponies are rude." (Actually, Firefly wasn't likely to take her own advice. But she knew if Rainbow was rude to Fluttershy's dad, she wouldn't hear the end of it.)

Rainbow Dash was not overjoyed to hear Fluttershy's parents were back together. Nor that she would have to defend Fluttershy from her father's abuse again. "What about her mom? Is she gonna be there?" Rainbow Dash did love Fluttershy's mom, as she had always loved that Rainbow Dash protected her filly.

"Fluttershy, I don't like forcing you to do anything, I know how timid and scared you are. Please just wear them for mommy please? Rainbow Dash is going to be waiting for you at school. You don't want your friend to be upset that you're not there?" Warm Skies tried to calm her daughter down.

"I think Warm Skies will be there," said Firefly. At least, she hoped so. "Now I'll walk you to school, okay? But just for today, to make sure you don't get lost." Really, she just wasn't quite ready to let her little filly go.

Fluttershy had already used all of her fight, and she caved easily. "Okay, Mom," she said, shuffling herself into the pants and the dress. It was a green sleeveless dress that at least helped to hide what she was wearing underneath (provided that no one was directly behind her and looking closely.) Her tail poked out from beneath the dress, betraying her nervousness as it flicked about.

"You said Rainbow Dash was coming over?" she asked, finally ready to leave her bedroom.

"Of course sweetie. I can't think of a better way to end the first day of school than with you and Rainbow Dash playing together." Warm Skies said happily, picking her daughter up. "Now how about some breakfast? I can't imagine that your stomach isn't grumbling." She said as she heard a large grumble from her daughter's stomach. "What would you like sweetie?"

Rainbow Dash finished her breakfast and shook her body. It had been quite awhile since she'd eaten any of her mother's cooking. Her mom was a pretty damn good cook. "This will be about the only other plus side to this, mom's cooking was great." She thought to herself. "Can I fly on the way to school mom?" She asked, hoping she could fly well enough.

Firefly doubted the flight would be successful, but she loved her daughter's enthusiasm. And practice never hurt. "Right on, kiddo," she said. "At this rate you're gonna be flying higher than everypony else before you know it. I bet you could even show the wonderbolts a thing or two someday."

Last Firefly checked, Rainbow still couldn't fly. But she was getting better every day, and she was still better than most of her classmates. Firefly was anxious to see where it would lead.

Fluttershy was experiencing mixed feelings in her. One one hoof, she was definitely hungry; the rumbling could attest to that. But on the other hoof, her nervousness was twisting her stomach up in knots. She didn't think she had much of an appetite. But she didn't want to say that, so she mumbled "Sandwich?"

She needed to talk to Rainbow Dash.

"Whatcha want on your sandwich? I'm sure we have some daisies left. How's that sound?" Warm Skies sat her daughter at the table. "Don't worry sweetie, your father has already left for work."

Rainbow Dash was excited and jumped up in the air and flew rather well around the kitchen. She'd always done this as a filly and her mother and father got onto her about flying inside. "SO when we gonna leave?" She asked, hovering slightly off the ground.

Neither Fluttershy or her mother needed to mention why her father being gone was cause to not worry. "Daisies are fine," she said, not really caring. Her anxiety was not doing her any favors, and she just wanted to get to Rainbow Dash.

Firefly giggled at her daughter's enthusiasm. "We can leave right now," she said. "I bet you could probably get there before I could blink, but please sweetie, let's stay together alright." She watched Rainbow fly around. "Wow. You've improved so much." She'd never seen her daughter fly with that much control before. "Let's go then."

Rainbow Dash so incredibly glad that she could still fly. It wasn't as well as she had hoped, but still better than she had at this age previously. Which meant she could go even faster later!

Moments later the breakfast sandwich was placed in front of her daughter. "Eat up sweetie, we need to leave in about five minutes. I've got your saddle bags packed so we don't have to worry about that. Then we'll leave and I'll walk you to school ok?"

Fluttershy had given up trying to figure out what was going on. It had to just be a bad dream, she decided, and she would wake up soon. She ate the sandwich in silence, forcing it down. When she finished, it was about time for them to leave.

Firefly grabbed the lunch she had packed for Rainbow Dash and led the way out the door, checking frequently to make sure Rainbow Dash was right behind her.

Rainbow Dash was excited to be able to fly, so she hovered along side her mother the entire way to school. "Mom, you don't have to keep looking for me, I'm not gonna dart off and try to skip school. I wanna see Fluttershy!"

Warm Skies gave her daughter a big hug to calm her down. "Don't you worry sweetie. Nopony is going to try to hurt you or anything. Plus if anypony even tries, you've got your teacher and Rainbow Dash to be there for you ok?"

Fluttershy put on her best smile, wishing she could believe her. She felt bad for her mother, who she knew tried so hard to take care of her and protect her, but it was never enough. Warm Skies could never really calm her daughter, and in fact her words tended to rub in Fluttershy's wounds. Her constant remindings of Fluttershy's bullying, her frequent attempts to draw attention to her insecurities, and her belittling of Fluttershy's own abilities always ended up having the opposite effect than what was desired. But she knew that her mother tried, she knew that trying to look after her gave her mother strength, and most importantly, she knew that her mother needed that strength more than she did. Letting her mother try was simply the kind thing to do.

She remembered the last time she had visited her mother, after she had finally worked up the strength to leave her father. Skies had grown so much, Fluttershy recalled. They both had. There was a light in both their eyes again.

And now it was gone again.

Fluttershy stepped out the door, desperately needing to find Rainbow Dash. She froze when she realized that her family wasn't the only thing that had changed.

It wasn't the Cloudsdale she remembered. At first glance, it looked much the same: buildings supported by ornate pillars and columns made of cloud. But the flowing hills and valleys were gone. Instead, the surface she walked on was bulldozed flat, practical but bland. Far off in the direction of the rising sun, Fluttershy saw what looked like the early beginnings of a construction project of some sort. A large sign near them cheerfully warned "Stay away from unstable cloud edges!" and another further down read "Clouds are our future! Don't waste them! Recycle!" (the signs were still made of clouds, thankfully.)

"What happened to this place?" Fluttershy voiced aloud. "It used to be so beautiful."

Firefly didn't notice anything different about Cloudsdale at all as she guided Rainbow Dash to school. The school turned out to be above their starting location, but rather than follow sloping hills and stairs built into them to reach their destination, she brought Rainbow Dash to a nearby spiral staircase that lead up to another sheet of cloud running above them.

The entire ensemble seemed industrial, economical, practical. But it wasn't pretty. And it wasn't the Cloudsdale either filly remembered.

Rainbow Dash flew outside, and was greeted by something that definitely wasn't the Cloudsdale she knew. It looked much more industrial, and non-natural. Despite not being Fluttershy, this upset her greatly. Though right now flying was keeping her mind calm enough. After a few minutes of following her mother, she got distracted and crashed into a sign.

Warm Skies led her daughter through the twists and turns to the main road. Thankfully, she had convinced her husband to not live inside the actual city limits. She hated the sounds of some of the machines and the like and they made it to where she couldn't sleep. "Are you ok sweetie?"

"I miss..." Fluttershy realized that there was no way to explain to her mother exactly what she missed. The world was changing beyond her control, nopony but her knew anything was even wrong, and worst of all she couldn't even tell anypony in a way they would understand. It was all proving to be too much for her. Fluttershy began to cry.

"I miss everything," she whined. As she cried, her need to pee came back.

Firefly rushed toward Rainbow Dash as soon as the accident happened. "Oh my gosh, squirt, you okay? Maybe you should just walk the rest of the way."

[AmaraDash19]

Warm Skies picked up her daughter carefully and gave her a big hug. "Shhhh, I know you don't want to go to school, but trust me, you'll have tons of fun ok?" She obviously missed the context of her daughter's worries.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I've had worse crashes before." Rainbow Dash hovered down to her hooves and walked along side her mother. "So what school am I going to again?" She asked, as obviously she wasn't going the way she remembered to her school that she remembered going to.

Fluttershy wanted to scream. She wanted to shout at her mother, "You don't listen to me! You never listen to me!"

These were the words that Fluttershy wanted to say, and perhaps should have said, but she didn't. She didn't say anything. Instead, she squirmed in the hug, trying frantically to break free. She needed some time away from her parents.

"It's Cloudkicker's School for Begining Flyers," said Firefly. "I promise you, you don't have to worry about a thing. I know Cloud Kicker, and she's really nice. You're going to love her."

She pointed to the school as they approached it. It was a simple one-room building, next to a playground made from clouds. The beauty of clouds as a building material was that they were inherently safe. (Provided you weren't too close to the edge.)

"What's wrong Fluttershy? Do you want to be put down sweetie?" Warm Skies was confused as to her daughter's state. Normally when she hugged her daughter she felt better. She put her daughter on the ground. "Fluttershy, what's wrong?"

Rainbow Dash groaned, she remembered this school. It wasn't in the same location as it was before all of this crap, but hopefully Cloudkicker was still the same. "Well I can already fly well enough why do I have to go to a beginner's school?" She asked. The school looked about the same, with a few minor changes.

[iamjohndoe]

"Rainbow, you've never flown this well before today. And it's not like flying is the only thing you're going to learn here. There's all the other important subjects too, like math and history and all that."

Fluttershy continued to squirm when she was set down, this time because of her need to pee. She couldn't express to her mom why she was so upset, but she could now feel the tightness in her bladder. "I have to, um, go," she told her mom.

Unfortunately, while they had left their home far behind, Fluttershy still couldn't see the school.

"But mom!" Rainbow Dash protested to no avail. She knew she wasn't going to get much of anywhere arguing with her mom. She never really got a lot of say in things till she graduated from school and moved to Ponyville.

Warm Skies noticed a coffee shop nearby, and herded her daughter inside quickly. "Hurry sweetie. You can make it." She cooed at her daughter. While her daughter was in the bathroom, Warm Skies decided to grab a coffee, as a fight with her husband last night was starting to take it's toll on her.

"I promise you'll have fun." Firefly was beginning to grow tired of her daughter's whining. "Don't forget, Fluttershy will be here."

But where was Fluttershy? Firefly looked around but didn't see her. There were several young fillies and colts playing.on the playground while they waited for class to start. Firefly motioned for Rainbow Dash to join them. She decided to stay and watch until Fluttershy arrived.

Rainbow Dash hovered herself onto the playground. All the foals and fillies confused her. She hadn't exactly played like a foal since she was a foal. She decided to sit on top on the swingset to look for Fluttershy. She needed to see Fluttershy.

Fluttershy rushed into the bathroom. Her control felt weaker than it usually was, perhaps due to her smaller bladder, and she could feel herself slipping. She ran to the first unoccupied stall and flung it open, sitting down on the toilet and letting go.

She relaxed as she felt the stress and pressure go away. But she was concerned when she didn't hear the tell-tale patter of the stream hitting the basis.

Taking a peek, she realized she had forgotten to remove the training pants. The warmth spreading beneath her legs removed all doubt about what she had just done.

It wasn't fair, she thought. She hadn't had an accident. She wasn't trying to hold it. She had just forgotten about the pants in the heat of the moment.

She knew her mother would be disappointed. But her mother didn't have to know. She flushed the toilet even though there was nothing in it, checked herself in the mirror to make sure that no dampness or sagging was visible, and she left the bathroom.

"I did it," she told her mother.

A group of three young colts approached the swingset. Even though they were smaller now and lacked their cutie marks, they were still recognizable as Hoops, Score, and Dumbell, the same ponies who, as stallions had harrassed Fluttershy at the Best Young Flyer's competition.

"Hey, look, it's Rainbow Dash," called Hoops. "Where's your girlfriend? What was her name again?"

Dumbell put a hoof on his chin and pretended to think. "Wasn't it Puddleshy?" He asked the others.

"Nah, I think it was Fluttermess," added Score.

"Shut up Score, you aren't funny," barked Hoops, their leader.

"Sorry."

[AmaraDash19]

At least these faces were familiar to Rainbow Dash. The same three idiots who'd given her all the trouble she'd experienced her first fillyhood. "Go away knuckleheads. I don't have time for you. I'm waiting on Fluttershy." SHe stuck her tongue out at them and continued to look for her friend.

Warm Skies thought her daughter did her business quickly. "Would you mind if I checked you sweetie?" She asked, since she knew Fluttershy had always issues wearing training pants in public. Sometimes she thought it would be easier just to keep the shy pegasus in diapers until she was ready for potty training.

[iamjohndoe]

"Of course you're waiting for Fluttershy," said Hoops. "You're always waiting for Fluttershy. That's all you ever do." He fluttered up to Rainbow. His lackeys, not yet able to fly, stayed on the ground. "Have you ever thought that she's just slowing you down? You could do so much better than a little baby like her."

Fluttershy wasn't really prepared to be questioned. "Umm... no. I mean yes, I mind. You don't need to do that. Let's just get to school."

[AmaraDash19]

Rainbow Dash gave the trio a glare that would rival Fluttershy's eventually stare. "I DON'T abandon my friends. Now why don't you three go find a book to read? You might learn how to fly properly."

Warm Skies picked up her daughter and looked her in the eyes. "Fluttershy, I don't mind if you have an accident, but it hurts me when you lie to me. Did you make it to the potty sweetie?"

Fluttershy didn't want to lie to her mother. And technically, she didn't have to.

"Yes, Mom. I made it to the potty," she answered truthfully. She had just still been wearing her pants at the time.

---

"Fine." Hoops slunk back. "We tried. But you know you're never going to be cool if you spend all your time with a girl who poops her pants, right?"

[AmaraDash19]

That satisfied Warm Skies. Her daughter didn't have a habit of lying to her so she had no reason to suspect that she was lying to her now. "Come on sweetie Rainbow Dash is waiting for you at school. You don't want to keep her waiting now do you?"

Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes. She had no idea what was going on in this world. Sure at this age, Fluttershy still had the occasional wet bed, but she hadn't ever had an accident at school before. Well there was that one time she got food poisoning, but then half the class did so nopony spoke about that.

Fluttershy didn't want to keep Rainbow waiting, so she hurried after her mother. But part of her was beginning to worry and fill her head with terrible possibilities. What if Rainbow Dash didn't remember? What if Rainbow Dash picked on her too? What if going to school only made things worse?

As the school came into view, she looked frantically for Rainbow Dash.

When Firefly saw Fluttershy coming up the road, she waved goodbye to Dash.

Rainbow Dash saw her mother waving goodbye to her and she waved back. That meant Fluttershy was here! She scanned around and saw her with her mother entering the schoolyard. She couldn't help herself when she flew and almost tackled her friend. It was nice to see a familiar face. "Fluttershy!"

Fluttershy had no idea whether Rainbow Dash remembered or not. She decided that she wasn't going to mention it, not at first. What if Rainbow Dash didn't remember and when Fluttershy told Rainbow, she'd just think she was weird.

Although the excited greeting gave Fluttershy hope that maybe Rainbow was in the same boat. "Oh, hey Rainbow," she said. "You seem happy."

Satisfied that her daughter was safe, Firefly turned around and headed back the way she came.

Warm Skies met with Firefly for a few minutes before heading back home. She didn't stay long, just making sure the girls were coming back to her house after school.

"Fluttershy! Please tell me you remember me! That you remember Angel and Ponyville!" She said somewhat frantically, hoping Fluttershy would remember their previous life.

Fluttershy's face lit up when Rainbow Dash mentioned Angel. "Oh, my precious Angel Bunny!" she cried. "Is he okay? Please tell me he's okay. Of course I remember you, Rainbow Dash. I was worried you wouldn't remember me. She lowered her eyes. "Today has been really really hard," she told her friend.

Rainbow Dash rubbed the back of her neck. "I...I don't know about Angel honestly. I was just trying to see if you remembered me. And I'm so glad you do. Today hasn't been any easier on me. Apparently I'm still in diapers at night. And what's with your dress 'Shy?"

"Oh, um, the dress," Fluttershy wasn't sure if she was ready to have this conversation. "Well, you see..."

She didn't have to, since Hoops had returned and was more than willing to answer Rainbow Dash's question. "Hey, Diapershy!" he hooted. "How's it hanging? Oh, I know. Saggy!"

"They're not diapers, they're training pants," said Fluttershy quietly.

"Oh hush it, Flutterpee," said Dumbell. "They're the same thing and you know it. You wear diapers."

Rainbow Dash gave her friend a hug. "I'm sorry you have to deal with that Fluttershy." She turned around to address the three stooges behind her. "Leave her alone bozos. She gets enough flak at home and she doesn't need you three making her life any worse. Get any closer and I'll throw you off of Cloudsdale."

Dumbell and Score, who couldn't fly, backed away in fright at the possibility of being thrown off of Cloudsdale. But Hoops wasn't scared by the threat. "Come on," he said. "You're not going to do that. If the teacher sees, you'd be in a world of trouble. Besides, we're all friends here, aren't we, Fluttershy?"

"Please..." squeaked Fluttershy. "Don't..."

Hoops grew stern. "I said we're friends, didn't I?"

"Yes," whimpered a defeated Fluttershy. "We're friends."

"See? Then there's no problem," said Hoops.

"Back off Hoops. Stop scaring Fluttershy. You take one more step and I'm knocking your lights out. I will not have you tease or hurt my best friend!" Dash's coat was on end and she was ready to lunge at Hoops. "Or I can tell the teacher you hurt Fluttershy. I already know her well and she'll believe me." She glared at him again. "Fluttershy, don't give into them ok? I've got your back."

Hoops knew Rainbow Dash well enough to know that there was a very real chance she would carry out the threat. "Fine, fine," he said, relenting. "We'll go. Just remember we just wanted to be friends, and you were the one who threatened to lie to a teacher to get me in trouble."

Score turned to Dumbell. "I bet you two bits she has an accident before lunchtime," he told his friend. Dumbell laughed, and they spat into their hooves and shook. Then the three colts left.

"I'm sorry, Rainbow Dash," said Fluttershy. "It's just been really really hard getting used to this."

(Even if they would have been 'friends' they would have tormented poor Fluttershy anyway.)

"I'm not having an easy time either. I almost had a panic attack this morning when I woke up with a wet diaper and a pacifier in my mouth. Speaking of which are you actually wearing training pants under there Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash wasn't trying to be insensitive, but she needed to know everything new about her friend.

Fluttershy wasn't happy to admit it, but she couldn't lie to her friend either. "Yeah," she confessed. "I am. Do you, um, want to see them?"

Rainbow Dash was a bit torn, she should at least see what her friend was enduring. "I guess if you wanna show me. If you don't that's fine, I just feel horrible you're the pony wearing them and I'm not. I can take the heat from them better than you can."

"Well, you could wear them if you wanted to," Fluttershy tried joking. "And I don't mind showing you. Not really." She turned around and lifted her dress with her tail and wings, putting the soaked training pants on full display.

Unfortunately, Hoops chose that moment to take one look back at the fillies. "You shouldn't have taken the bet!" he told Dumbell. "She's already soaked. Must have happened after her mommy left." The wheels turned in his head. "Dude. She might have gone in front of us. Did you even feel it, Peepeeshy? Or did it just come out?"

Fluttershy was blushing hotly. She had forgotten about the accident.

Dash had enough of Hoops and leapt across the playground and gave him a fast uppercut. "Piss off Hoops. I've had it with you teasing Fluttershy. You wanna pick on me fine. Leave. Her. Alone." She said looming over the colt with a bloody nose. "I don't even care if I get in trouble anymore. I'm tired off it."

Cloudkicker of course, had seen the entire ordeal and didn't step in. Hoops needed to learn a lesson or two. Of course, if Rainbow Dash hit him again, she'd step in.

Even though Hoops knew about Rainbow's brutality, he was still surprised when she hit him, so he turned tail and ran.

Fluttershy was worried about getting in trouble. "You didn't have to do that," she told Rainbow. "I'm fine, really." She was still lifting her dress to show Rainbow the training pants.

"Of course I did, what kind of friend would I be if I let you get hurt? We're apparently the only two that remember the old Equestria, so I can't lose you." Rainbow Dash said sincerely, unknowingly having a little accident of her own. "Did it just get really warm out here Fluttershy or is it just me?"

Fluttershy watched Rainbow Dash's stream arc into the cloudy ground, and she debated whether or not to tell Rainbow Dash. "I don't know, Rainbow Dash," she said. "Do you think something might be happening to us?"

The bell on the roof of the school rang, and an old mare stepped out, easily old enough to be the fillies' grandmother. It seemed that not everybody was younger now.

"Come along, children," said Cloudkicker in a sweet voice.

"Well it obvious to me something's happening. We need to find Twilight. If we remember the old Equestria, then the other elements might remember something. But I don't think we'll be able to go anywhere anytime soon."Rainbow Dash commented, feeling slightly defeated. Rainbow Dash started walking and felt wet. "Why do I feel wetness?"

"Maybe because you're walking on a cloud and clouds are made of water?" Fluttershy offered, hoping Rainbow Dash would buy it but suspecting she wouldn't. "And I hope you're right about the others. Maybe Twilight knows what's going on."

(Rainbow never reacted to seeing Fluttershy's pants. It's my fault, I brought in the bullies before you had a chance. But I bet RD has something to say about it.)

(Also, who wants to play the teacher?)

Cloudkicker started the class once everypony had found a seat. Mornings would be instruction and afternoon would be exercise and training. "Alright class, my name is Cloudkicker and I'll be your teacher this year. Before we start does anypony have any questions?"

Rainbow Dash raised her hoof, "Yeah what's your policy on bullies? Me and Fluttershy have already run into three of them."

Cloudkicker could tell she was in for a rough time. She was getting too old for this.

"Bullying will not be tolerated," she instructed the class. "You will keep your hooves to yourselves," she added, offering a knowing look at Rainbow Dash, warning her what would happen if she got any rougher against Hoops.

"Yeah. Tell Rainbow she can't just attack ponies," ordered Hoops.

"We will also be respectful to everypony," she warned Hoops. "Every pony will be kind. any other questions?"

Rainbow Dash sighed. Thankfully they wouldn't have to deal as much with the bullies as they did earlier. She leaned over once Cloudkicker started the basics. "Hey Fluttershy, you know your training pants were wet right?"

Fluttershy was not anxious to have this conversation. "Yeah, I know," she whispered back. "Thanks for reminding me. But thanks for calling them training pants and not d..d..diapers."

"Well they aren't diapers Fluttershy. Diapers are what I was wearing when I woke up. You're just wearing a safeguard. Training pants aren't anything to be ashamed of. Though I think you should probably get a fresh pair on when we get a break ok?" Rainbow Dash was obviously concerned for her only friend left that she could talk to.

"I want a fresh pair too," she said. She had heard the squish and felt the wetness when she had sat down at the desk. "But I don't think I have a fresh pair. I didn't bring any extras."

She wasn't sure what to do. Running out of things to say, she dropped, "You know you peed outside, right?"

"I did what? Is that what that wetness was? And the warmth? Dangit, apparently you won't be the only one suffering here Fluttershy. My mom won't like it when Cloudkicker tells her that. She probably saw it. And you should check your saddlebags, your mom never left you unprepared." Rainbow Dash wasn't lying about any of that. Cloudkicker had always been extremely observant and if she had seen Rainbow Dash punch Hoops, she saw that.

Fluttershy peeked into her saddlebags and saw that Rainbow was right. "Thank Celestia," she breathed a sigh of relief. But she couldn't change right now without the whole class seeing her wet pants. So she decided to wait until lunch.

"So we both wet ourselves," she told Rainbow. "You don't think that means we're going to... you know... number 2 too, are we?" She hoped not. She would do everything in her power to prevent that from happening.

"I hope it doesn't go that far, but we're only about a year older than when I stopped wetting the bed, and you're a year younger. I mean you are supposed to be older than me but I don't even know if you're older at this point. There's just too many questions to know Fluttershy. I'll probably end up in training pants or diapers by the end of this week if I wet myself like I did earlier." Rainbow Dash may not have seemed like a bright pony before, she was obviously smarter than she let on.

"I'm just worried because of this." Fluttershy passed over to Rainbow Dash a note that score had slipped onto her desk as they were getting seated. It pictured a crude stick-figure drawing of her wearing a dark and loaded diaper with the letters "FUTRPOO" written beneath it. "I don't get why they're doing this," she said. "I never... had those kinds of accidents at school before. Well, not often, I mean. There was that one time..." She hoped that they were just trying to drag out that one time instead of referencing multiple such accidents.

"Well we are just in beginner's flight school Fluttershy. Last year we were at daycare. You might have had an accident or two there. We don't know what's gone on in this universe. Don't let it get to you Fluttershy. If it gets bad, we can always talk to Cloudkicker." Rainbow Dash was trying to be as comforting as she could.

"But Cloudkicker's so much older. How do we know it's the same Cloudkicker we remember?"

The teacher, hearing her name, noticed the conversation going on between the two fillies. "No talking during class," she ordered them, and then she looked closer at what was going on. "Fluttershy! Are you passing notes?" she pointed to the paper with the drawing on it, which was fortunately folded up at the moment.

Rainbow Dash replied, "She's not, somepony left a really mean picture on her desk before class though. Sorry for talking...." She looked away. Yes this was pretty much the same Cloudkicker as before, just as a teacher.

"We'll talk before lunch you two." Cloudkicker said, going back to teaching the class.

Fluttershy decided it would probably be a good idea to pay attention, even if she already knew most stuff they would teach beginners. Maybe if they talked about flight it could give her some pointers for her new body.

Nothing eventful happened to her until lunch.

Rainbow Dash just stared off into space. She knew all of this stuff, she could hear the almost exact same words on her first day of flight school. She just wanted the practice part. She could enjoy that at least.

Soon enough, the lecture ended. "Alright, go outside," she told the kids. "I'll be right out to supervise. Rainbow Dash? Fluttershy? You two stay here. I'd like to talk to you."

Fluttershy was nervous. She didn't think there was any way this could end well.

Rainbow Dash swallowed nervously, she didn't know what could happen. "Yes mam? What'd you want to speak to us about?" She didn't want to get in trouble on her first day of school. not that she cared to really be here in the first place.

"You shouldn't pass notes during class," she told the fillies. "May I see it?"

She was surprised that the soft-spoken Fluttershy would be acting like this. She was inclined to believe the filly was telling the truth about the note. Still, if they were being bullied, she had to be involved to put a stop to it. How bad could the picture be? Maybe she could convince the fillies it wasn't that bad.

"Um, we'd rather just go eat lunch," said Fluttershy.

[AmaraDash19]

Rainbow Dash rubbed the back of her neck and handed it to Cloudkicker. "I think it was Hoops but I'm not sure. They wouldn't leave me or Fluttershy alone before school. And the picture is really mean...."

"I'm sure it isn't that ba-" Cloudkicker stopped short once she saw the drawing. "Well, you two are more than excused. Fluttershy I'm so sorry for them bothering you like that."

Cloudkicker knew she was going to have a talk with Hoops, and she decided she'd save that one for the end of lunch. For now, she had to supervise the fillies and colts during the lunch time, which also doubled as a play period.

Fluttershy picked up her bags and headed out, slowed down only a little by some stiffness. She tried to look for a good place to eat with Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash found a spot up in the cloud fort and motioned Fluttershy to come join her. "I'm glad that's over with aren't you Fluttershy? I thought we were going to get in trouble for something we didn't do. Also, don't forget to change your training pants. I don't think they're all to comfortable by now." She said, the last part in a whisper.

Since Fluttershy couldn't fly like Rainbow Dash, she had to climb up the fort the hard way. Fortunately, the fort was designed for just that and had a number of handholds. But halfway up it occurred to her than anyone looking would be able to see her wet training pants on full display. She hurried and climbed the rest as fast as she could.

"It's not comfortable," she said, squirming a bit in the dampness. Now that they were outside, were a small breeze was blowing, it was beginning to feel a little clammy and cold. She tried her best to ignore it and pull her lunch out of her bag, giving the spare pants a nervous glance. "But where should I change?" she asked. "I don't know if I want to do it here where anypony can see me. That would be embarrassing."

She bit into her hay and daffodil sandwich.

Rainbow Dash bit into her daisy and hay sandwich. She swallowed so she could talk. "Well there are the bathrooms Fluttershy. It's just two stalls and you can lock the door so if I go in with you we can both go to the bathroom and you can change your training pants. Flawless plan."

Fluttershy considered it. It could work. "Alright. But after lunch." Even though it was uncomfortable, she wasn't going to leave her food out, and she definitely wasn't bringing it into the bathroom with her. She took another bite. "We need to find a way to find Twilight," she said, unconsciously shifting in her seat as she did so, trying to adjust to a new bloating down there. "How can we do that?"

[AmaraDash19]

"Well so far, we'd have to ask my mom or your mom to go see a random unicorn in Canterlot. The Princess's protegee! And if we went on our own, I don't think we'd get too far without one of Rarity's bags that hold more than they're supposed to. At the rate we're losing our control, I'd suspect I'll end up in diapers by the end of the week!" Rainbow Dash had set her sandwich down and was shaking her head in confusion. "Honestly Fluttershy, unless one of our moms says yes, we're gonna be stuck here for awhile."

"You don't know that," argued Fluttershy. "How do you know you're losing control? We both only had one accident, not counting the bedwetting. Maybe you're just getting used to being the new you and everything will be fine the next time you have to go."

[AmaraDash19]

"But I never had an accident after I was toilet trained! Except that one time where they punched my stomach and I wet myself.... But besides that. I'm just a bit scared ok Fluttershy? I'm trying not to freak out."

Fluttershy knew that Rainbow was worried and tried to think of a way to make her feel better. She looked at the pant in her bag, considering the possibility.

"If you're worried about having an accident, than maybe you should wear my spare d.. training pants." She caught herself before she said diaper; Hoops' words were getting to her.

[AmaraDash19]

"No those are yours. It might have just been a shock accident. If I have another.... then I'll ask my mom about it. You obviously well I wouldn't say need, but it'd be better for you to wear them Fluttershy. Plus, I'm not wearing a dress."

[iamjohndoe]

"Oh. Okay." She paused in her lunch, finding it hard to eat with her bloating problem. It was painful enough that she was visibly rocking, trying to find a way to be comfortable. But she figured it would go away soon.

[AmaraDash19]

"What's wrong Fluttershy? You don't look too good. Are you ok?" Rainbow Dash asked. Her friend looked like she was in a good bit of pain.

[iamjohndoe]

"I'm fine," Fluttershy promised her friend. "It's just a little bellyache. I'll be alright in a little while. I think we should..." she paused, losing control. But didn't she want to lose control? Didn't she want to get rid of the ache? "Hold on," she said. "I think I can..." Her face scrunched up as she pushed, trying to make herself feel better.

Rainbow Dash was a bit confused. "F-F-Fluttershy? I don't think training pants are meant for that...." She mentioned, now fully aware of what Fluttershy is doing.

Fluttershy faintly registered her friend's warning, but she pushed harder, achieving success. The loud vibration of her gas was muffled by the clouds, so Rainbow would feel it more than see it.

With the gas out of the way, Fluttershy felt loads better. "See?" she said. "It worked." But with the gas out of the way, she could now easily feel what was coming after it. "Uh-oh," she said. "Uh, Rainbow? Maybe we should go to the bathroom now instead of after lunch."

Rainbow Dash picked up Fluttershy and dashed to the bathroom inside the school. They got inside the bathroom and set Fluttershy down in front of a toilet. "Go! Take off your training pants and go!"

Fluttershy was not expected Rainbow to even be able to pick her up, let alone grab her so roughly, and so the sudden acceleration knocked the wind out of her. But the wind wasn't the only thing knocked out of Fluttershy by the sudden display of strength. The world rushed by here, but all Fluttershy could think about was the feeling of the mess rushing out of her.

She was now suddenly standing in front of the toilet, but it didn't really make a difference. "I don't think it matters," she said, beginning to tear up. "When you grabbed me... I... it was too rough... I couldn't hold it..." She took off her dress and let it fall to the floor, revealing her training pants that were now not just soaked, but lumpy too. It was taking everything in her not to cry.

Rainbow Dash rubbed the back of her neck. "Sorry Fluttershy.... I got a little carried away. Well I guess you should get cleaned up and get on a fresh pair of training pants. Maybe you should ask your mom about this."

Even though her pants were already starting to itch, Fluttershy didn't want to change. She didn't want to do anything except cry.

"I don't know what to do!" she shouted. Her knees gave out and she grabbed Rainbow Dash for support. "Everything's changing and nothing's right and I just pooped myself and I don't know what to do about any of it." She began to wail like the small child that she now technically was.

Rainbow Dash embraced her friend. "Shhh I'm here Fluttershy. I can't do anything about your accident but we're not gonna leave each other's sides ok? I don't know what's going on nor can I even begin to guess. But I'm here for you Fluttershy." Rainbow Dash stroked her mane, remembering this usually calmed her down.

Slowly, very slowly, over the course of about five minutes, Fluttershy began to calm down. During this time, the foul smell from her training pants began to fill the bathroom.

"Thanks, Rainbow Dash," she said. "I can always count on you, can't I?" But then she sniffed the air and began to sob again, albeit softer this time. "I did that," she moaned. "I really am just a little filly."

"Just change your pants and you'll feel better 'Shy. You'll feel better after you do. ANd I'ma gonna pee before I wet myself again." Dash excused herself to one of the stalls and sat down, relief came rather fast. "I barely felt the need to go then I did..."

Just change yourself, Rainbow had told her.

Fluttershy looked down between her legs at the now-bulging messed pants. This seemed simple enough. The pants were designed for easy removal, after all. There was a big of padding at the bottom, thicker than the rest and designed to be handled by earth ponies. Still, Fluttershy wished she was a unicorn as she contorted her frame enough to grasp it in her mouth. She felt the mess shift about as she began to pull the pant down her legs, and the feeling made her nauseous. It came down far enough for her to finally see the mess she had made, sticking to the pant and her coat in smears and occasional clumps. The now overwhelming smell and the shame of seeing it overwhelmed her, and she stopped, the pant around her knees.

The stress, panic and shame made it impossible to think clearly. Even trivial tasks seemed too daunting to try. "I can't do it," she told Rainbow Dash. "I don't know how."

She breathed heavily, close to crying again. She knew changing herself should be easy. If she couldn't even manage that, then maybe she really was a baby.

Rainbow Dash sighed as she exited the stall. That was a close one. "Lemme help Fluttershy. I'm not leaving you like this." Rainbow Dash said, reaching into Fluttershy's saddlebags and pulled out a small pack of wipes her mom had packed. "Glad your mom wants you to be prepared." She said, fully removing the soiled training pants and tossing them into the trash can. "Ten points!" Rainbow Dash cheered a bit before returning to cleaning up Fluttershy. "I think you're clean. Can you do the rest?"

Fluttershy was feeling shaky, but the change had given her another chance to calm down. It had been strangely relaxing. She had just melted away under Rainbow's care. With Rainbow taking care of her, she felt safe.

When the change was almost over, they heard the door to the bathroom open. In their haste, they hadn't locked the door like they had planned. A well-built pegasus mare with an orange coat and mane stepped into the room, took a minute to try and make sense of what was going on, and turned out and walked out qucikly, trying to hide a small blush. This was not something she needed to see.

"Can you do the rest?" Rainbow Dash asked her.

"I think so." Fluttershy pulled out the spare pant and slipped into it. "Thank you so much, Rainbow Dash," she said, and she hugged her friend. "Maybe we can do this, if we do it together. I can't believe that mare came in here. This is so embarrassing. Who even was she?"

Rainbow Dash shrugged, "Iunno, she looked a bit familiar though. I only know one orange pegasus though." Rainbow Dash commented. "But like I said Fluttershy I'm going through this with you. I'm not going to abandon my only friend here." She was serious. "Though you should uh... probably ask your mom about your little accident. I'm gonna ask my mom about mine. I don't want a repeat in the middle of class."

"Do I have to talk to my Mom about it?" She could picture exactly what her mom would say. "It's okay, baby," she said, her voice an imitation of her mother's. "I know you can't help it because you're so weak. But I still love you, Fluttershy. I don't care if you never grow up and stay helpless and pathetic forever, because it means I get to take care of my favorite daughter." She loved her mother, but she didn't think that conversation could possibly go well.

"We just have to make it through the rest of the day," she said. "We can figure out what to do then."

"Oh come on Fluttershy, your mom needs to know. I'm gonna tell my mom about my accident, mainly because I want to know if I've had any others recently or if this was an isolated incident. You know your mom loves you Fluttershy." Rainbow Dash gave her friend another hug. "Now we can go finish lunch. I think we got like ten minutes left."

Fluttershy saw her dress in the corner of the room and put it back on. "Cloudkicker said the afternoon was flying practice, right?" She pushed the door open and walked through the empty classroom. "I bet there are fillies and colts here who fly better than I ever did. I'm going to humiliate myself all over again, aren't I?"

"Naw Fluttershy, if nothing else good comes out of this, you can learn to fly even better! My mom said she hadn't ever seen me fly as well as I did on the way to school, so I'm thinking we probably have most of our wingpower if nothing else. You can beat all these fillies and colts and show them what Fluttershy can really do!" Rainbow Dash seemed more like a cheerleader now.

Rainbow Dash's enthusiasm was contagious. "You know what? I think you're right, Rainbow Dash. We have a huge advantage over everypony else when it comes to flying. Maybe we could even be the best in our class. And then everypony will want to be friends with us and Hoops won't dare pick on the best and most-loved students!" Caught up by her fantasy, Fluttershy wasn't paying attention to where she was walking and bumped into the pony in the doorway, who had come in to use the bathroom.

Hoops laughed. "Best in the class? Most beloved? Are you playing make-believe again, Fluttershy?" He looked behind her and spotted Rainbow Dash. "What's she doing here? Did your girlfriend help change your diaper?"

Rainbow Dash blushed a bit when Hoops mentioned girlfriend. She'd had those feelings before, but right now, they weren't in any situation for that. "S-shut up Hoops! Or I'ma punch you again. Just leave her alone. Cloudkicker won't like it if you pick on us. You're already in a lot of trouble for that note." Rainbow Dash had a huge scowl across her face, and she was ready to defend Fluttershy at all costs.

(Just a heads up, I do love FlutterDash pairings, so I wanted to throw that in x3)

"You're also not denying it," said Hoops. His laugh was a hideous shriek that made Fluttershy wince. She was already blushing hotly.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Fluttershy shouted in defense. "She doesn't even want to be!" There was no way an awesome, independent pony like Rainbow Dash would ever go for someone like her.

"Are you sure?" asked Hoops, sneering. "I mean, you were spending an awfully long time in that bathroom together. Maybe there was more than just some diaper changing going on." Hoops had known about such things from a very young age. He hoped they knew too; otherwise they wouldn't really get it. But Fluttershy's squeal of embarrassment as she buried her face in Rainbow's neck for protection signaled to Hoops that she knew exactly what he was trying to insinuate.

Fluttershy realized what she was doing, and recalling Hoops' accusation, pushed away from Rainbow and toppled over backwards.

Rainbow Dash was trying not to blush at the things Hoops was implying they were doing. Though that last statement hurt quite a bit. Hopefully she'd get a chance to tell Fluttershy she would love more than anything to be her girlfriend, but that wasn't the pressing issue at the moment. "Hoops back off, one more word and I'm going to get Cloudkicker. She's already upset and she doesn't need you implying she has even more issues."

Hoops didn't like the threat of the teacher getting onto him and he walked away. "Stupid girls. You two won't ever amount to anything."

Rainbow Dash turned around and helped Fluttershy up. "Are you ok Fluttershy? Don't worry about Hoops. Both of us know I'm still a fillyfooler from when we were back in Ponyville. Don't think I wouldn't want to be your girlfriend, but I know you don't swing that way."

"Oh, Rainbow Dash, you don't need to say that. I wouldn't be offended or anything. But I know that you'd rather be with somepony who can keep up with you, who wouldn't just slow you down. And if I tried to get in the way of that... if I tried to keep you from somepony who would really make you happy... I wouldn't do that, Rainbow Dash, alright? You deserve somepony like... like Spitfire."

Fluttershy realized why the mare that had walked in on them had looked familiar. "That was Spitfire!" she remarked. "What was she doing here?"

"Of course I need to say that. You're a beautiful mare...well filly now but still. I'd be happy if I ended up with somepony like you. I wouldn't want to burn myself out. You kept me grounded last time we were fillies remember? You stopped me from hurting myself." Rainbow Dash wasn't lying. "Heh...Spitfire was pretty hot... but she's with Soarin' when I was at the academy. She said she wasn't a fillyfooler. She didn't hold it against me though. And was that was Spitfire? What's the leader of the Wonderbolts doing here?" Rainbow Dash was rather puzzled about this. "Wanna go see Fluttershy?"

When Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash went outside, all the other kids were gathering in the field behind the classroom, since lunch was almost over. The two fillies really only had enough time to retrieve their bags from the fort before meeting up with the rest of them.

"Alright class," said Cloudkicker, taking charge. "For the flight training, I'm going to have an assistant to help you all. I want you to listen to her like you would listen to me."

She called Spitfire up to the front. Fluttershy noticed that she was younger than normal, but not as young as them. She looked like a teenager. "My name is Spitfire," she instructed with every bit of professionalism Fluttershy remembered from Rainbow's stay at the Academy. "I am here as part of my court-mandated community service."

Rainbow Dash raised her hand, obviously Spitfire had always been older than Rainbow Dash, but she had never seen her like this. "What'd you do to end up with community service?" She asked, glad that she had never gotten court ordered community service.

(Her hand? Lyra Heartstrings would like to have a word with you.)

Spitfire was not amused by the question. "That's not important," she said dismissively. "What's important is that you're looking at last year's winner of the Best Young Fliers competition. You want to get off the clouds? I'm your mare. Why, I'll have you all champions in no time. So let's get to it, shall we? We're going to start today with proper flapping technique."

(Gah, I do that too much. And your reply is just like one of my friends when I mess up like that XD)

Rainbow Dash sulked. She'd have to remember to ask Spitfire about her community service when everything was back to normal. "Flapping technique? My mom taught me that before I even got to school!" Rainbow Dash thought to herself. "Today's gonna be easy Fluttershy. Remember what you learned for the spout to Cloudsdale and we'll be top of the class in no time."

Spitfire spent the next hour or so instructing the fillies and colts on proper wing flapping techniques, while Cloudkicker watched each kid closely in turn, providing pointers.

Despite Rainbow Dash's encouragement though, her anxiety got the better of her, and she performed about as well as her classmates who had never flown before.

"You shouldn't fully extend your wings unless you plan to glide," instructed Spitfire for the third time. "Try to keep tight control over them."

Hoops saw this as another opportunity to make trouble, in a way that could appear completely innocent. "I bet it's the dress," he said, pretending to be helpful. "She could have a lot of trouble moving her wings if the dress is in the way. She should take it off."

"It's not the dress Hoops. She can fly just fine." Rainbow Dash retorted, hovering away like she preferred to do as a full grown mare. "Come on Fluttershy, you can do better. I've seen you do better." She was trying to be encouraging. Rainbow Dash had pretty much exceed the requirements for the day.

Fluttershy tried again, trying to lift herself off the ground and stay there. But now she was too aware about her actions, overriding her muscle memory with awkward attempts to stay afloat.

"I suppose it couldn't hurt to try without the dress," said Cloudkicker, unaware of what Fluttershy had on beneath.

"Um, I think I'll just keep trying with the dress on, if that's okay," insisted Fluttershy.

"Aww c'mon kid. No hurt in taking off the dress." Spitfire took the dress off Fluttershy, ignorant of what the filly had on beneath.

"Spitfire!" Rainbow Dash barreled head first into the yellow-orange pony and prevented her from completely removing her dress. "Leave her dress alone!!!"

The dress was now bunched up around Fluttershy's lower section, still preventing the training pants from showing, but only barely.

Spitfire was knocked backward multiple pony-lengths by the small filly, something she didn't think should be possible, given their relative sizes. The pony that hit her was strong, she realized. And fast, too.

"Rainbow Dash!" barked Cloudkicker. "We do not touch other ponies without their permission. And Spitfire? Same warning, I guess. Although you should know better."

Spitfire didn't understand what she had done wrong. It wasn't like ponies normally wore clothes anyways. Which made her start to wonder if maybe there was a reason Fluttershy had her dress on. Then she remembered what she had walked in on in the bathroom.

"Fluttershy?" asked Cloudkicker. "Please remove your dress so you can practice flying without it."

Fluttershy only shook her head, not wanting the whole class to know what she was wearing.

"Sorry m'am." Rainbow Dash said sadly, though glaring at Spitfire in defense of Fluttershy. Nopony was going to lay a hoof on her while she was around. No questions asked.

Cloudkicker pulled Fluttershy to the side and asked her quietly. "Fluttershy, is there a reason you're not wanting to take your dress off? It's not exactly the easiest to fly with clothes on ya know." She knew to be gentle after earlier today. "You can trust me ok? Nopony is going to know whatever you tell me."

Even though Cloudkicker had promised confidence, Fluttershy didn't even want her to know.

"I just really like this dress," she told Cloudkicker. "It's my favorite."

A few positions down, Dumbell eagerly watched what was going on. He left his position, pretending he needed to talk to Spitfire. When he passed Fluttershy, he intentionally tripped on her dress. Fluttershy tried to hold onto it, but the heavy colt's leg pulled it away from her, revealing her pants to anyone in the class who was looking. (Which, due to the commotion they were causing, was just about all of them.)

Cloudkicker saw this was intentional. SHe wasn't going to have any bullying if she could help it. "Dumbbell! Inside! NOW! You're in a lot of trouble mister."

Rainbow Dash heard Cloudkicker yell at Dumbbell and she turned away from Spitfire to see Fluttershy with her training pants exposed. "Nonononono! That's what I was trying to prevent!" Rainbow Dash didn't know what to do, though she was certain that Fluttershy would probably start crying.

Fluttershy was determined to just power through this. Amazingly, she didn't start crying.

However, her complete humiliation triggered a release in her, and the front of the pant grew yellow. She could feel the warmth spreading and didn't need to look down to realize what was happening.

Even though she was outside, she felt like walls were pressing in around her. She couldn't be here. Anywhere but here.

Fluttershy turned away and ran in a random direction.

Rainbow Dash couldn't stand to see her friend like this. "Fluttershy! Come back!" She yelled, taking off after her friend. "I can't lose her like this. I can't lose her at all!" Rainbow Dash flew after her.

Fluttershy heard Rainbow Dash but didn't come back. She couldn't show her face to the class ever again. She kept running, heedless of her surroundings. But Rainbow quickly caught up to her not far from the school, at the foot of an apartment complex.

Knowing she was caught, Fluttershy collapsed into the soft clouds. She just wanted to curl up and go to sleep.

"Fluttershy, I know you're upset... Damnit I don't even know what to say. But don't worry I'm here ok? I'm not gonna leave you. If you wanna stay here until Cloudkicker comes to get us, I'll stay here with you ok?" Being the element of Loyalty, she would never abandon a friend.

"I did it again..." whimpered Fluttershy. "In front of everypony, I did it again. Why do I keep doing it? What's happening to me?" She hugged Rainbow Dash tightly, noticing the smell of her coat. "What am I going to tell my mom?"

"Look as much as it may hurt, like I said, probably by the end of the week we'll both be in diapers Fluttershy. Just tell your mom you couldn't hold. She's always been kind and gentle with you Fluttershy. And you learned from her. You're the kindest pony I know Fluttershy. If she says you're going back in diapers, so am I." Rainbow Dash wasn't to lose her friend, and if there was something she could do to help, she was going to do it.

"Please stop it," said Fluttershy very weakly. "Stop trying to say it like we're both in this together. Like you're going through the same thing. You only had one accident. You peed. Once. And only a little bit, and no one noticed. Me, I..." she choked up trying to list all the things she'd done. "My problem has been so much worse than yours. What you're going through, it's normal for your new age. No one's going to tease you for having an accident once. But based on everything Hoops as been saying, this might be normal for me. It's not because we've been cursed or hexed or anything. I'm having these accidents because I'm just old weak and helpless Fluttershy. And even though you're young, you still get to be Rainbow Dash."

Rainbow Dash sighed. "Fluttershy stop this crap. You're one of the bravest ponies I've ever seen. You faced down a fucking dragon! None of the rest of us could even get in there! And yeah I had an accident, I also wet the bed Fluttershy. I stopped wetting the bed last time over a year ago. I don't like this and neither do you. We ARE in this together. I have no idea when we're gonna get things back to normal so don't get so down. What did you tell me all the times I got upset? Make the best of a bad situation."

"How are we supposed to make the best of this?" asked Fluttershy. "What is there to make the best of? There is nothing good about what's happened to us, Rainbow Dash. Not one thing. And plenty of bad things are happening. I need diapers. You need diapers. I just humiliated myself in front of the entire class on the first day of school. And my Dad is back after I thought I got rid of him forever. Name one good thing that came of this change. Tell me one thing we can use to make the best of this?"

"Fluttershy, so what if we both need diapers? It's not a huge deal. Plus we still have each other. AND not to mention if nothing else we can both get better at flying. We'll get our cutie marks back once I can pull off a sonic rainboom ok? And if I can pull off a sonic rainboom, the rest of our friends will get their cutie marks too. And Cloudkicker is an awesome teacher so far. She doesn't like bullying so Hoops and them will leave you alone too. I know your dad is back, but this time he'll hafta deal with me. I was too scared last time, but I'm not letting you get hurt this time." Rainbow Dash gave her friend a hug. "Now let's go back to class ok?"

Fluttershy took a while to respond, just enjoying her friend's embrace. Maybe if this let her get close to Rainbow Dash again, then there would be a silver lining.

"Can we not go back to class?" she asked. "At least not yet? They're all going to be there waiting for me. Waiting to make fun of me. I don't want them to make fun of me, Rainbow Dash."

"We don't have to go back to class until Cloudkicker says so. I'm sure she understands you're a bit embarrassed. And she'll probably bring your dress with her. That way you don't have to worry." Rainbow Dash let go of the hug, happily sitting with her best friend.

Fluttershy was content to just sit there with Rainbow Dash, at first. But she began to feel nervous and uncomfortable. What do I say? wondered Fluttershy. I should be saying something, not just sitting here. Rainbow Dash is going to think I'm awkward. She'll get bored of just sitting here with me. And then she'll leave. Or worse, she'll stay because she's trying to be nice even though she doesn't want to be here.

"What do you think the others are doing right now?" she asked. "How do you think they're handling this?"

Rainbow Dash looked over at Fluttershy, who was sitting rather awkwardly. "You ok Fluttershy? You look a bit nervous. I didn't do anything wrong did I?" Rainbow Dash immediately blamed herself for this.

"What, no." Fluttershy felt flustered for a reason she could not explain. "You didn't do anything wrong, Rainbow Dash. You're perfect. You held yourself together when I cracked, you kept your cool in front of Hoops, and you keep being here for me. I don't deserve that, Rainbow Dash. You're just so..." A number of words flashed through her mind. Brave, kind, and although she tried to stop from thinking the last one, cute. "You're just so perfect," she repeated.

"I'm far from perfect Fluttershy. I get too strong headed sometimes. If you aren't there to hold me back, I'd probably end up in jail half the time. I'm not perfect. And don't say you don't deserve it. The way you've looked after whenever I crash back in Ponyville, and you balance me out 'Shy. I'm not Rainbow Dash without my Fluttershy."

"Maybe," admitted Fluttershy. "I'm just really glad I have you. I don't think I'd make it if I had to go through this alone. So, thanks for being here for me." She leaned over and kissed Rainbow Dash on the cheek to show her appreciation, but she felt guilty as soon as she did so.

Cheeks had plausible deniability, right?

"F-F-Fluttershy, did you just kiss me?" Rainbow Dash asked with confusion and excitement. She liked the kiss, but did Fluttershy share her feelings? It was her cheek, so it could just be a thank you, but Rainbow Dash never really understood a lot of those things.

Fluttershy's face burned with shame. She had just tried to take advantage of Rainbow Dash! Her plan had been to just deny it, to claim that it was just a friendly kiss. But didn't the fact that she even had a plan mean that she was trying to manipulate her best friend?

"Forget it," she rushed. "I mean, it was just a friendly thing. Because you're my best friend. I mean, it's not like I kissed you on the lips." She laughed an obviously fake and nervous laugh. "Don't worry. I wouldn't want to kiss you on the lips or anything. I mean, ew." Really, the idea sounded wonderful. But telling Rainbow Dash that would only make things more complicated.

[AmaraDash19]

Rainbow Dash had her hopes dashed rather quickly. "Are you sure Fluttershy? I wouldn't mind it." Rainbow Dash said, trying to see if she could salvage the conversation.

Meanwhile, Dumbbell was being chewed out in the schoolhouse as Spitfire led the rest of the class in flying exercise. "You do not treat a lady like that Dumbbell. That was incredibly rude. This time you're getting a warning, but the next time I'm taking further measures."

So far, Dumbell had seen a lot of bark but no bite from Cloudkicker. He figured he could continue to get away with tormenting Fluttershy as long as he was careful about it and didn't ask Cloudkicker to put her money where her mouth was.

"I know. I'm sorry," Dumbell tried to make his apology sound sincere. "I didn't know she had the diaper, though. If I'd known that, I never would have done it."

"I know you wouldn't mind," said Fluttershy. "You'd probably do anything if I asked you to, because you're so nice. But it would just be weird. We're just friends. Friends who do friendly stuff. Nothing more."

"I don't care. Even at your age that's classified as sexual harassment. You could be arrested even at your age for doing that. If a lady is wearing something, you do not unless that lady is in a life or death situation remove her clothes. Am I understood Dumbbell?" Cloudkicker didn't like to yell, but she knew his type.

"Oh come on Fluttershy. I'm not like that. I wouldn't mind at all if you wanted to kiss me Fluttershy. I kinda...." Rainbow Dash wasn't good with this sort of this thing and drowned out her own words at the end of her sentence. She had meant to say that she had a crush on her, but it hadn't exactly come out that way.

"What's the big deal?" asked Dumbell, confused. "We don't usually wear clothes!"

Fluttershy didn't want to have to deal with this. She was beginning to suspect Rainbow might actually be hitting on her, but that was a can of worms it would be easier to just leave shut. She wanted to know exactly what they could become, but she didn't want to risk their friendship either. "Well then, I guess it's a good thing I don't like you that way. Now we don't have to deal with all of the problems that would cause. But what about Spitfire? I don't think she's a Wonderbolt anymore, so maybe you'd stand a chance with her. Of course, she's also now over twice your age..."

Rainbow Dash sighed. So much for that kiss. Oh well. Guess I'll always be a fillyfreak. "Fluttershy I already told you, she isn't a fillyfooler. All the mares I know that are either aren't interested in me or already have a partner." It was Rainbow Dash's turn to be a bit upset. She lay her head down on the ground. "You don't understand how hard it is to be a fillyfooler Fluttershy. Or at least an ugly one. No mares are even interested in me."

"You're not ugly," insisted Fluttershy, her tone growing dead serious almost immediately. "Don't say that. Why, I think you could be really pretty if you tried. If you just put a little effort into being a little less rough-and-tumble, I think you'd be the most beautiful mare in all of Equestria." She ran a hoof through Rainbow Dash's hair, playing with it and trying out different potential hairstyles. "We could even play around with that after school. Try to find a you that will catch every mare's eye." Remembering their new bodies, she added, "Well, not immediately. When you're older. And maybe they aren't all taken this time. A lot of things are different in this world; at least a few of them are going to have to work out in your favor."

As she spoke, Fluttershy was unknowingly also cheering herself up and fighting away her previous cynicism.

"Yeah yeah. I like how I look. And I like how I am. I'll just be alone forever 'Shy. And I don't plan on staying in this universe long enough to get old enough for that Fluttershy. I'll never be as beautiful as you are Fluttershy. YOu don't understand how cute you really are." Rainbow Dash gave it one last try, if nothing else, she'd be able to cry herself to sleep tonight.

Ponies told Fluttershy she was cute all the time. Usually, it made her feel cheap, petty. It made her feel guilty that she may have unconsciously using her appearances to get what she wanted. But when Rainbow Dash told it to her, she took it as the compliment is was meant to be, and it warmed her heart.

"I didn't mean you weren't perfect the way you were." Fluttershy tried to cover her mistakes. "Being comfortable in your skin is very important, and you're better at that than I am. You have the courage to be open about the fact that you like mares. While I... have a friend that still hasn't admitted that yet, because she's worried about how other ponies will see her. And between you and her, you're going to find love first, because ponies will notice you, while she just stands in the background. And someday you're going to meet a perfect mare, and I'm going to be so happy for you."

(It's all catching up to Dashie as she realizes what Fluttershy did earlier.)

Rainbow Dash knew that trick. "Fluttershy... are you trying to say you like mares too? Cause that's what it kinda sounds like." Normally Rainbow Dash would apologize after a statement like that. But she had to be sure. "I like who I am, as much as other mares might not like me because I'm such a tomboy. You don't seem to care if I am one way or the other. I'm just Rainbow Dash to you." Rainbow Dash picked her head off the ground. "I'm sorry if this is hard to talk about Fluttershy. Nopony I know really knows how to get to me like you do."

"I think we should get back to class," said Fluttershy to avoid answering the question. She figured that if Rainbow Dash could go back to showing off in front of her classmates, it would cheer her up. And Fluttershy didn't care about being humiliated if that was the cost of making her friend happy.

"We should probably wait for Cloudkicker to come get us... I don't think she'd appreciate the fact two of us ran off on the first day of school." True enough, Fluttershy had achieved her goal of getting Rainbow Dash distracted from her question. "Though I really wouldn't mind showing off some more. Spitfire seemed to have liked a kid with spunk like me."

Fluttershy was now trying hard to look on the bright side. "What if this is your chance to prove yourself to Spitfire?" she asked, a little excited. If she could be helping her friend, that would be enough. "Besides, maybe we shouldn't wait for Cloudkicker. She might be angrier if we make her come find us."

[AmaraDash19]

"I don't wanna prove myself here and still not have convinced the Spitfire we know. Sure I'm in the academy but I'm not a Wonderbolt yet. Plus she looks like she's seventeen. You have to be eighteen to even attend the academy. She couldn't even be in it at her age. And I'm not moving. We're staying here till Cloudkicker gets us." Rainbow Dash was adamant.

Fluttershy didn't understand why Rainbow was so committed to not moving, but she decided to just go with it. As they sat though, Fluttershy's pants began to cool, and they soon became somewhat itchy. She shifted, trying to become more comfortable.

[AmaraDash19]

Rainbow Dash noticed Fluttershy's shifting. "You ok Fluttershy?"

Cloudkicker walked back outside. "Spitfire! Where's Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy?" She yelled across the school yard.

"Sorry, ma'am," said Spitfire. "The two ran off, and I couldn't go after them without abandoning everypony else. I think they went that way." She pointed toward town.

"I'm okay," said Fluttershy. "It's not like there's anything I can do about it right now anyway." She looked around. "Maybe we should get out of the middle of the road while we wait." She spotted a cafe across from the apartment complex. "You thirsty, Rainbow Dash?"

"Very. I didn't get to drink anything during lunch and I only had milk for breakfast. Whatcha got in mind?" She asked, seeing Fluttershy's signature idea face.

Cloudkicker took off in the direction Spitfire pointed and started looking. This wasn't the best start of a school year by any means. "Rainbow Dash? Fluttershy?" Can you hear me?" She called out while gliding through the streets.

"I think we should take a break from all this craziness," said Fluttershy. "My treat." She didn't mention her other reason for wanting to visit the cafe, just in case it didn't work out.

She led Rainbow Dash across the street and entered the cafe. The inside was cramped, with a perky sky-blue pegasus mare behind the counter. A bell chimed overhead as Fluttershy entered.

Rainbow Dash sat and waited for her best friend to return. She knew Cloudkicker would be here soon enough, but couldn't wait.

Cloudkicker continued to look for the two fillies. "Girls! Where are you?" She called out again.

Fluttershy looked around the cafe, her eyes wide with pretend wonder. After almost a minute of "admiring" the pictures on the wall (most of were paintings of cloudscapes. Fluttershy didn't understand why you would paint something you could just look out the window and see,) she "noticed" the mare.

"Sorry," she said, intentionally turning up her sheepishness to levels even above what was normal for her. If she looked like a filly, she was going to use that to her advantage by looking as adorable as possible. "Can I have a tea?"

Cloudkicker was getting worried. Two of her students had ran off and she had no idea where they were.

The blue mare looked down at the adorable filly. "Most certainly, what kind would you like?"

When prompted, Fluttershy launched into a lengthy description of her preferred types of tea, betraying a freaky knowledge of tea that would be surprising even coming from an adult. "I, uh, really like tea," she confessed, blushing a little. "And maybe some coffee for my friend."

She realized that she wouldn't be able to pay for the tea, since her bags were still at school (assuming there was even any money in them, which she doubted.) She was standing in front of the counter in nothing but wet training pants (which she hoped that, if anything, would help her pass as an adorable little child.)

The barista handed her a small coffee and the tea FLuttershy had asked for. "Don't worry sweetie, it's on me. I think your friend out there could certainly use the coffee." She said, seeing Rainbow Dash across the street.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash was starting to get sleepy, she missed her midday nap, which was supposed to start about 10 minutes ago.

Fluttershy was glad looking cute had paid off. Her backup plan was to tell the barista her Mom would be coming in to pay for it soon, and then just run out, but she wasn't sure if she would be able to lie like that.

Fluttershy saw Rainbow Dash through the window. Something looked wrong, but she couldn't tell what. She ran out to her friend, carrying both cups in her mouth.

"Are you alright, Rainbow Dash?" she asked. She was also starting to feel drowsy, having missed her nap as well but not knowing she was even supposed to take one.

(Rainbow Dash takes naps during her work shifts :P That's why she's tired.)

Rainbow Dash perked up at the sound of her name. "Huh? Yeah I'm just really tired. I need my afternoon nap. I was already starting to drift off after lunch to be honest. Whatcha got there?" She asked as she sniffed the air. "Do I smell black coffee?"

"Uh-huh!" Fluttershy affirmed, having trouble paying attention behind the weight of her eyelids. "Just the way you like it." She sat down next to her friend, but had to lean on her for support. "I hope... you like it..."

"Fluttershy? Come on now, I'm tired too. Drink your tea and wake up. Unless you can't. I can stay awake for both of us until Cloudkicker finds us." Rainbow Dash chugged half of her coffee, knowing it'd keep her awake.

Fluttershy smiled peacefully as she watched Rainbow Dash down the coffee. "How is it?" she asked, snuggling up against her friend's wing. Even though she hadn't made it, she felt like it was a reflection on her. Calm and relaxed with Rainbow Dash, she began to drift off.

"It'll keep me awake. You rest Fluttershy. I can't imagine you feel too good after all that's happened today. I'll stay awake and protect you ok?" Rainbow Dash wasn't going to let anything else hurt Fluttershy.

Despite everything that had happened today, Fluttershy was at peace. "Thank you, Rainbow Dash," she muttered, teetering on consciousness. "You're always there for me, even when I don't deserve it. You protect me. You keep me safe." She sighed, her body slipping down Rainbow until only her head was using her friend's side as a pillow.

"You're my knight in shining armor," was the last thing she said before she fell asleep.

Rainbow Dash blushed. It made her wonder if Fluttershy liked her the way she liked her. She'd never been called a knight in Shining Armor. That was something Rarity kept saying only a stallion would do for a mare, or something that a mare would call her stallion hero. In any case, Rainbow Dash finished her coffee and kept watch. Cloudkicker would have to find them now.

Fluttershy laid peacefully next to her friend. With Rainbow Dash watching over her, her dreams were peaceful.

Cloudkicker finally spotted the mares sitting underneath the apartment complex. "There you are," she cried, too relieved to be angry.

"Cloudkicker! You found us! Fluttershy got upset and took off and I went after her then we got lost. I'm sorry.... And Fluttershy kinda fell asleep too. She wasn't feeling too good." Rainbow Dash was somewhat embarrassed to need an adult's help.

(A scandal has shocked Canterlot. Pictures have surfaced of the captain of the royal guard in compromising positions. Everyone wants to know who the other pony in the photographs is. Cadence is furious. Twilight is worried about her brother's reputation. Celestia is launching a full investigation into the matter. It becomes a desparate race to answer the question everypony is asking: Who is that knight in Shining Armor?

Twist: It's Twist.)

"Thank you Rainbow Dash, for keeping her safe." Cloudkicker was so glad nothing bad had happened to a pony she was supposed to be watching. "For now, the two of you are alright, and that's what's important. Fluttershy." She called the filly's name, hoping to wake her up. But the yellow pegasus only shifted, mumbling something unintelligible in her sleep.

"I was just doing what I've always done. I won't let anyone hurt Fluttershy, that includes you and Spitfire too mam, will all due respect. SHe's my best friend!" Rainbow Dash may not have been the element of Honesty, but she had to be honest with her teacher. She wasn't going to lose the only thing she had left.

(Twist is secretly an undercover cop.)

Cloudkicker was astonished by Rainbow Dash's devotion and honesty. "I wish more fillies were like you," she told her. "Now, Fluttershy. Wake up. We need to take you back to class."

"And she's my best friend too. I love her," muttered Fluttershy, even though she was completely asleep. She didn't move, and even began to softly snore.

"She's not going to wake up, is she?" asked Cloudkicker, ignoring what Fluttershy said in her sleep.

Rainbow Dash heard her say exactly what she had always wanted to say to her, causing her to blush. "Uh yeah she's not gonna wake up for at least another ten minutes. Can you carry her back please mam?"

Cloudkicker relented. "I suppose we don't have a choice, then." She hoisted Fluttershy onto her back and felt the wet pants press into her. "Maybe we should make a pit stop first," she suggested. "Get something that Fluttershy can change into? There's a store not to far from here."

"Well that'd be nice. I'm sure she doesn't want to stay wet too much longer. I didn't bring any money with me though..." Rainbow Dash felt kinda bad about making somepony else pay for Fluttershy. That was her job.

"It's fine," assured Cloudkicker. "I just want to make sure both of you are okay. It's not just a job, alright? I became a teacher because I care." They had already missed enough of class that the time it took to buy new garments wouldn't be that much more. Hopefully Spitfire was doing a good job managing the class in her absence.

The store they soon found was a warehouse store, the type that would have been a rarity in the old Cloudsdale, but fit right in in the new one. Cloudkicker led them to the child care isle.

"Alright, Rainbow Dash. You should probably pick out what you think would be best for Fluttershy."

"I-I don't have a clue! How would I know?" She obviously didn't know what to get for her friend's weak bladder. "What kind of training pants is she wearing now? Isn't there always like a brand name on them and stuff?" Rainbow Dash had remembered her diaper from this morning has a brand name on it, though she couldn't remember what it was.

"I don't know. I can't get a good angle to look, and I don't want to put her down if it might wake her up. Just make a guess. Pick something you think she'd like." Cloudkicker looked at the multiple different colored boxes. Some advertised different designs, others offered features like extra padding and (if they were willing to pay much more than Cloudkicker was comfortable with) magical enchantments that claimed to sanitize, seal odors, and in one case, even change themselves.

"I had no idea there were so many options," said Cloudkicker, befuddled.

Rainbow Dash lifted herself off the ground and looked at the different types of training pants and diapers. SHe stayed away from the diapers as much as possible but she couldn't completely. After a few minutes, she found a package of filly training pants with bunny designs and extra padding. It also claimed to not feel cold when the filly was wet. "How about these?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Cloudkicker smiled at the cute designs. "They're perfect," she said. She led the fillies to the front of the store to pay for them. She considered stopping in the bathroom to change Fluttershy, but she figured that would be inappropriate for her role as a teacher. Besides, the filly was in pants, not diapers, so she could probably change herself when she woke up. "Let's just get back to class," she told Rainbow Dash.

On Cloudkicker's back, Fluttershy began talking in her sleep again. "Oh I couldn't, Mister Beaver," she slurred. "You know Pinkie Pie would get mad at me."

"Sounds good to me. I'm sorry about running off like that. I just couldn't leave Fluttershy alone like that. Her dad isn't the nicest of ponies and she's really shy because of it." Rainbow Dash wanted to make sure she understood everything. "She's been like this since I've known her. She usually hides behind me."

Cloudkicker listened to Rainbow's tale. She didn't know anything about Fluttershy's parents, but she took her relationships with her students very seriously. "Be sure to let Fluttershy know she has a friend in me," said the old teacher mare. "I'll do everything I can to help her. She can trust me. Now let's head back to class, alright?"

Fluttershy continued to talk in her sleep. "Rarity!" she cried. "I could never do that! That would be very inappropriate!"

"I'm sure Spitfire isn't having fun with the three stooges at all." Rainbow Dash commented chuckling a bit. Though she blushed when Fluttershy yelled that comment out. She knew exactly what she was referencing at it wasn't exactly the brightest of her moments. "So how far away are we from the school?"

As if on cue, the school came into view as soon as Rainbow Dash asked the question. Spitfire had taken over teaching the class in Cloudkicker's absence, and had done a decent job of keeping order by running it as if she were a drill sergeant.

Cloudkicker nudged Fluttershy when they got to the building. "Wake up, Sweetie," she urged. "We're back, and I bet you want out of those pants."

Fluttershy stirred. "Rainbow Dash?" she asked groggily. "What happened?"

Rainbow Dash rubbed the back of her neck. "You kinda fell asleep. Cloudkicker came and found us thankfully. She even got you more training pants so you can get out of those. Are you feeling ok Fluttershy? You slept like a rock." Rainbow Dash gave her friend a hug. She felt like she needed it.

Fluttershy felt warm when Rainbow hugged her. "I think I'm fine. It's just been a long day." She remembered her earlier conversation. "You should go show Hoops how to really fly," she told her friend. "I'll be right behind you after I, you know." She gestured to the new box of training pants.

Rainbow Dash released the hug. "Are you sure you'll be ok? I know this has been a lot for you to take in." Though after Fluttershy assured her, she dashed outside. Hoops and his goons needed to be taught a lesson.

Cloudkicker ushered Fluttershy into the schoolhouse to the bathroom, where she quickly removed the wet garment and replaced it with one from the box.

Cloudkicker opened a cupboard in the back of the bathroom. "We can keep the rest in here in case you need them. Now, tell me, Fluttershy, is this a frequent problem?"

Fluttershy didn't know the answer. "I hope not..." she said.

Spitfire noticed Rainbow Dash rejoin the group. "Excellent timing," she announced. "We're practicing wing crunches. Sets of twenty. Ready kids?"

"Twenty?" a small colt cried. "That's insane."

"Twenty that's nothing." Rainbow Dash said, getting ready for the exercise she'd done every morning since graduating flight school. "What's after that?" She asked, hoping for more flying.

Meanwhile in the bathroom, Cloudkicker was a bit worried. "Fluttershy, it's ok sweetie. If you need to tell me anything, it'll stay with me. I won't tell anypony ok?"

"It's nothing," lied Fluttershy unconvincingly. "I'm just worried what all the other kids are going to think about me now that they all know about me."

"That's nothing?" echoed Spitfire. "Then perhaps you would like to demonstrate for us?"

"Bring it on Spitfire. I can do anything." Rainbow Dash was rather cocky. But then again, why wouldn't she? She was Rainbow Dash.

"Don't worry Fluttershy, if anypony even thinks of touching you besides Rainbow Dash, I'll stop them. I had a hard time when I first went to flight school too." Cloudkicker reassured the timid filly.

"Alright everypony. Let's do those crunches," ordered Spitfire, but her eyes were only on Rainbow Dash.

Fluttershy tried to smile. "Thanks," she said. "Now I'm going to make Rainbow Dash proud of me by showing those bullies they haven't won." She really didn't want to go back out there, but if Rainbow Dash was there, maybe she could handle it.

Rainbow Dash went straight to work, easily setting a much faster pace than any of the other colts and fillies. It wasn't as fast as she was used to when she was an adult, but this was still fairly easy for the cyan filly.

"Do you want your dress back Fluttershy? It's on my desk if you want it sweetie." Cloudkicker said as Fluttershy headed out of the bathroom.

Fluttershy took the dress from the teacher's desk and slipped back into it. "Thanks," she told the teacher. "For being here." She could imagine that with a different teacher, everything could have been worse. She went outside to find Rainbow Dash working out. When she was an adult, she liked to watch her friend practice. She still did, but her enjoyment felt more innocent now.

"Impressive," said Spitfire, whistling. "See everypony? This is what you should be striving for. Follow Rainbow's lead."

Rainbow Dash beamed of course, as she had more than double the amount of crunches that Spitfire had asked for. "I told you this was easy,. I love flying almost more than anything." She announced.

Cloudkicker came out and announced her own message, "Well everypony, today is over. You are free to play until your parents pick you up. Or you can continue to listen to Spitfire here." She laughed a bit as she said the last part of her announcement.

The crowd dispersed. Some of them walked back to the playground. A couple of colts and fillies stepped into the classroom to use the bathroom.

Fluttershy smiled softly to herself and Rainbow Dash. The end of the day hadn't been bad at all. No one had mentioned her embarrassing reveal, although she suspected they were just waiting until the teacher wasn't around.

Firefly was already waiting by the swings when class ended. She had spent the day worrying about her daughter, and she had showed up early to make sure she was safe (and also because she hadn't been able to get any of her work done anyway.)

Rainbow Dash got Fluttershy after she finished showing off to Spitfire, which at this point was more subconscious desire to please the eventual captain of the Wonderbolts. They made their way over to Rainbow Dash's mom, who indeed was waiting by the swing set. "Hi mom." Rainbow Dash said plainly, not excited nor disappointed.

Rainbow Dash may have been calm, bit her mother was full of frantic energy. "Champ!" She cried, relieved that get daughter was okay. "how was your first day of school? I want to hear all about it."

"Hi, miss Firefly," said Fluttershy meekly. She knew she had nothing to bescared of; Rainbow Dash's mom was nice. But the older mare's nervousness put her on edge.

Rainbow Dash was a bit embarrassed. "Well, I suppose it was interesting to say the least. We've already found the bullies again. They won't leave Fluttershy alone." She replied. She didn't want anything to happen to Fluttershy.

Cloudkicker came over to speak to Dash's mother. "Don't worry they behaved. Rainbow Dash is Fluttershy's little protector. She won't let anypony harm her. You should be very proud Firefly."

Firefly was proud of her daughter. "That's my Rainbow Dash," she said. "Loyal to the end. They should give her a medal for it." She mouthed "Thank you to Rainbow Dash.

Fluttershy flushed and hung her head. She didn't care that Rainbow Dash was her protector; in fact, she really appreciated it. But it still embarrassed her to need a protector at all.

Cloudkicker spoke up again. "They've both had a long day. Fluttershy had an accidental little nap. Don't worry, they behaved quite well."

Rainbow Dash was just ready to go home. Or today, to Fluttershy's house. "Mom can we go now? " The blue filly asked, eager to get to a familiar setting.

"Rainbow Dash. Be patient and polite," Firefly admonished her daughter for speaking out like that, not that she blamed her. "But you're right. We should get going. Thank you, Cloudkicker, for looking after them. To Fluttershy's. Would you like a ride, sweetie?"

"I can walk," stammered Fluttershy.

Firefly set course for Fluttershy's home. Fluttershy walked side by side with Rianbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash started to fly alongside her friend. "I'm glad to be heading home, how about you Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash asked. They were out of earshot of her mother so they could talk freely.

Fluttershy wasn't sure that home would be any better than school. She had to deal with her parents, and her home was so different it didn't feel much like home at all. She had no idea what they would even do when they got there. "I'm just glad to be with you, Rainbow Dash," she answered.

She also felt the need to pee return again, an urgent pressure in her. But too embarrassed about her earlier accidents to talk to Rainbow's mom about it, she did her best to ignore it.

"You know I'm glad to have you Fluttershy. I don't know what I would do without you. This new environment is a lot less scary knowing I've got my best friend in the world here with me. So you what's your house look like now? Is it still the same as I remember it?" Rainbow Dash quickly nuzzled her friend.

"Me? I'm making it less scary? Rainbow Dash, What could I possibly do to make things less scary? I'm not strong like you, or brave like you. If anything, you're keeping me safe. You've already protected me from those bullies. So I'm glad you're here. I don't know what would have happened without you. You've my hero."

Fluttershy walked a little stiffly, trying to hold or until they got home.

"You know how I am about new situations and stuff like that Fluttershy. I mean, it took over a month for me to get used to hanging out with Scoots when it was just the two of us. But when you were there with us it was easy knowing I wasn't alone." Rainbow Dash admitted. "And I'll always be your hero Fluttershy. I don't care if you reject me like... well you know...... but you're still my best friend. I couldn't live if anything happened to you."

"I'm sure you'd find a way," said Fluttershy. "You're strong. You can pull through even when bad things happen. What do mean reject you? Why would I reject you?" Fluttershy somehow still hadn't gotten through her skull that Rainbow Dash liked her.

Rainbow Dash sighed, "I...... love you Fluttershy, and I know you don't now but I hope you do one day. I don't have a chance with any other mare. You're outta my league anyway Fluttershy..." Rainbow Dash set down and started walking. If she stopped flying, it was rarely ever for a good reason.

Fluttershy froze when she heard Rainbow Dash's confession. "You l-love me?" She stuttered. "But what about Spitfire?" Even though Rainbow Dash had already explained multiple times that Spitfire wasn't gay, Fluttershy was still hung up over the idea.

Firefly could hear the entire conversation, but she kept quiet. Young love, she thought. How adorable.

"Fluttershy! I told you she isn't like that!" Rainbow Dash said yelling, but softly. "You're the only mare who hasn't flat out rejected me... I love you Fluttershy. It's why I protect you so much. I can't stand to see you getting hurt. I mean, I did it before I fell in love with you but now it has even more purpose. I don't expect you to understand Fluttershy.... I just had to say something." Rainbow Dash seemed fairly upset, but tried to contain herself. They were almost to Fluttershy's house.

Fluttershy felt like her heart was going to explode. She'd imagined this conversation before. She imagined it a lot. But she had always excepted that it wasn't something she could have. Even now, she knew that she'd be holding Rainbow Dash back. If she confessed her love back, Rainbow Dash would never leave her side again, even when she should. Rainbow would give up everything for her. Fluttershy knew she couldn't let that happen.

Or maybe Fluttershy was just scared.

"Thank you for sharing, Rainbow Dash," she said, struggling to contain her emotion. "I know it must have been hard for you to say that to me, and I promise I don't think of you any differently because of it. You're still my best friend. But I'm not..." she couldn't lie to her friend about something that could be found out later. "I mean, alright, maybe I am a little bit, just a teensy weensie ittie bittie bit, maybe I like some mares." She relaxed. "Wow. It felt really good to say that. But you and me... I'm sorry Rainbow Dash, but you're my best friend, and that all I need you to be."

She forced a smile that then turned into a grimace from her struggle to avoid another accident.

Rainbow Dash felt utterly destroyed. She had just been rejected by the one mare she loved more than anything else. But she knew she had a duty to protect her. For once in her life, she wanted to curl up into a ball and cry. But she couldn't, she had to protect Fluttershy at any cost. But that admission of her liking mares was all she needed. It kept the flame of her love alive and she'd keep going. "A-a-are you sure Fluttershy? You're my best friend too..."

(Like I said, maybe Fluttershy is just scared of losing her friendship, and everything else is her giving herself a reason to not say yes.)

It looked to Fluttershy like her friend was taking the rejection hard. She wanted to change her mind, to tell Rainbow that of course she loved her like she'd never loved anypony, and they could be happy together. But she couldn't bring herself to do it.

Look at you, she thought. Rainbow Dash just admitted she likes you and you're too scared to tell her you like her. She's braver than you'll ever be. You don't even deserve her. You'll just be holding her back.

"I'm sorry, Rainbow Dash," she said, trying to counsel her friend. "I didn't mean to break your heart, really. This must be... oh, you probably don't even want to see me anymore if I'm just going to make you sad." Now Fluttershy felt like she might cry. "I'm a terrible friend for not liking you back."

Firefly was still listening on. Goddesses, Fluttershy's parents did a number of her, she thought. The poor filly's an absolute mess.

Rainbow Dash cringed at Fluttershy's words. "Nononono. You're nothing but the best friend I could ask for Fluttershy. If I had said that to anypony else....they probably wouldn't even want to be my friend anymore. And like I said before, I'm not leaving you. I'm not loyalty for nothing now am I?" Rainbow Dash asked, trying to cheer Fluttershy up. She could handle the heartbreak. Hopefully....

Warm Skies opened the door to see the three mares in her front yard. "Oh hello! Good to see you here. A little early but that's ok"

"Mommy!" Fluttershy ran up to her mother and hugged her tightly. It had been a rough day, and she needed the support. But she realized as she did it that she would rather be hugging Rainbow Dash. Or even Firefly. Her mother may have liked to take care of her, but it never made Fluttershy feel the way she thought she was supposed to.

She still had to pee, and badly, but she was determined to wait until Firefly left. She knew everypony peed, but she felt really embarrassed admitting she had to go to Rainbow Dash's cool mom. So instead she swayed in place a little.

"Skies!" Firefly was excited to see her friend, and had no intention of leaving without a good chat. "School let out a little early on the first day, and I didn't see a reason to wait. Daylight's burning, you know!"

"Go on in girls. Fluttershy you know where your room is so don't worry. I'll make you girls some snack in a half hour or so." For once, Warm Skies wasn't being the cause of Fluttershy's worries. "So how was the first day without Rainbow Dash Firefly?"

Rainbow Dash walked into the house, eager to see what Fluttershy's room looked like now. She really needed a distraction from having her heart broken.

Fluttershy focused on her need, determined to conquer it. There was absolutely no reason for her to have another accident.

She hadn't had much of a chance to check out the house this morning, so she did so now, walking around with Rainbow Dash. It was the same building she remembered, although some of the furniture was different.

They entered Fluttershy's room. It was definitely a lot less mature than when Fluttershy was in high school. The walls and ceiling were a bright yellow and pink. Her closet was left open, the most visible items being a package of training pants and one of diapers. A bookshelf hugged the door, filled with chapter books for young readers.

"So, uh... What do you think?" Fluttershy asked, not knowing what to think herself.

(I admit, I'm stretching out Fluttershy's pee because I can't think of an interesting way for it to end.)

Rainbow Dash looked around, it looked remarkably similar to the room she had at this age last time. Though the diapers and training pants were definitely not there last time. That reminded her of something. "Fluttershy, don't you need to...ya know...pee?" She asked, knowing her friend didn't want another accident. "Go ahead and go, I'll be fine alone for a few minutes." The cyan filly feigned. Of course she wouldn't be ok, it'd take days for her to recover from this.

How did Rainbow Dash know she had to pee? She hadn't told anyone. Then again, she guessed the signs were pretty obvious. "Thanks," she murmured, and she stepped out of the room to go to the bathroom.

She looked down the hallway, trying to remember where the bathroom was. It had been so long since the last time she had been here, she couldn't remember where it was. A sharp pain stabbed her bladder, warning her she was running out of time. She began checking each door frantically, trying to find the right one.

She knew she wasn't going to make it. She looked down between her legs at the training pants there. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and let the floodgates open. She felt disgusted with herself as she felt the warm urine mat her coat, but she couldn't stand the pain any more, and she just wanted it gone.

And of course the next room she tried was the bathroom. It was too late to stop the flow, so she closed the door and sat on her haunches, trying to ease the rest of the stream out. The damp pants were sticking to her coat in a way that unsettled her. She felt a trickle of urine start to run down her leg.

She finished, and the flow stopped. She sat for a few minutes, recovering. Remembering something her mother had told her that morning, she slipped out of the pants. She cleaned herself up with some toilet paper which she threw in the small training potty by the sink. Then she removed the dress, folded it up around the pants to hide them, and carried the bundle back to her room.

"Sorry," she said. "Let's look around and see what I have."

Rainbow Dash had found Fluttershy's bed and crawled up into it and buried herself underneath the covers. She wanted to cry, which is exactly what she did. Unfortunately for her, her cries were silent and Fluttershy didn't hear them. She didn't hear Fluttershy walk back in the room.

Fluttershy didn't see Rainbow Dash at first. It took her a few seconds to notice that the pony-shaped blob under the covers was actually a blob-shaped pony. "Rainbow Dash?" she asked, not wanting to approach her upset friend without permission. "Are you alright." She assumed the worst. "This is my fault, isn't it?" she asked.

"No Fluttershy I'm not alright. I'm upset. And no it isn't your fault." Rainbow Dash never EVER blamed anything on Fluttershy, even if it had truly been her fault. Fluttershy wasn't built to take any blame. "I-I-I-I...." Rainbow Dash couldn't hold it in, her silent cries became audible, but only to Fluttershy, but that was a sure sign something was seriously wrong.

Fluttershy always knew her friend was more fragile than the stolid persona she put on, but she had almost never seen her cry. She slipped into caretaker mode immediately, flying up onto the bed and gently easing the covers away that were hiding Rainbow Dash.

"There, now," she urged. "It's okay. We can get through this together. You said everything was less scary when I'm here, and I don't know why, because I'm not brave at all like you, but I'll try my best. I won't let anything hurt you, Rainbow Dash. Never ever. And if you tell me what's wrong, I'll find the pony responsible for laying a single hoof on you and I'll... I'll give her a very stern talking to, you hear me? I'm not going to leave you, Rainbow Dash. I... Because I need you too."

Rainbow Dash found comfort in her friend's words. Even though they weren't exactly directed at her issues. "It's not anypony Fluttershy...." She wanted to make sure nopony received Fluttershy's wrath, as nopony had deserved that yet. "I need you more than you know Fluttershy. Promise never to leave me?" She wanted to be sure, though quickly there was another concern quickly growing underneath Rainbow Dash, and it wasn't too good for Fluttershy's bed either. She hadn't even felt herself wet herself, but neither did she notice yet.

"I promise," said Fluttershy without hesitation. "I will never leave you. Not before we get back to normal, and not after. Never ever." She forced Rainbow Dash into a bear hug. "I'm so sorry, Rainbow Dash. I know I'm not everything you want me to be, and I feel really bad about it. And I could try. If you ask me again I'll try. But I don't want you to settle for somepony like me. Not when there's so many other ponies out there that would be better matches for you. I don't want to ruin your chances for success. But... but if you really really want me to... I can try to be better. I can try to someday be the type of pony that you deserve. And when that day comes, then you can ask me again, and I'll say... yes, Rainbow Dash. Yes, of course I will. I... I love you too, Rainbow Dash."

Fluttershy felt like an enormous burden had been lifted.

Rainbow Dash's tears started to stop. Fluttershy loved her? Did she really mean that? "F-Fluttershy? I'm not settling for you. I'm choosing you. You feel like my other half." She said, starting to find her words. It was hard, just hearing those words from Fluttershy. "Everything is easier when I have you. You won't ruin my chances of success, you'll improve them." She finally got to the point where she was comfortable to ask, "Do you really love me Fluttershy?"

"I really do,"insisted Fluttershy. "Just look at yourself, Rainbow Dash. Who wouldn't fall I'm love with you? So I knew I was up against some stiff competition. And some of those others mares, I know they're better than me. I know they'd be able to keep up with you. But me... You make me want to be a better pony, you make me want to impress you. And if you really like me back, then I'm going to do my best to make you proud of me."

She noticed the dampness on the bed, but she knew more was not the time to bring it up.

Rainbow Dash was overwhelmed with feelings, all of them good. "You always had every other mare beat Fluttershy. There was no competition. You never have to impress me Fluttershy, I love you just the way you are." She gave Fluttershy a kiss on the cheek, and then something felt strange. "Fluttershy? You don't have a water bed do you?"

Fluttershy had just managed to cheer Rainbow Dash up, and she was notgoing to risk upsetting her again."Oh no," she said. "I'm so sorry, Rainbow Dash. I didn't realize I wet the bed so much last night. It must have leaked. I'll clean it up right away"

She ran back to the bathroom and grabbed a towel, bringing it back to try and soak up the moisture.

She tried not to look at Rainbow Dash while she cleaned, both ashamed of the lie and blushing hotly from the lingering feeling of her friend on her cheek.

"Fluttershy, this is warm. And you just went to the bathroom. So that means it's my fault this time...." Rainbow Dash blushed. "I haven't even felt the need to go since I woke up this morning. And even then I woke up in a soaking wet cold diaper. I don't think I have any control left. This sucks." Rainbow Dash was upset, but not heartbroken. She had Fluttershy 100% by her side now. There was nothing she would want more now.

Fluttershy didn't think there was anything she could say, so she just hugged her best friend. "I'm here," she whispered. "I'm not going anywhere, okay. If you're here, than so am I." She just stayed there, holding her and hoping that would help.

But she also knew they should try and prevent another spill, especially considering that Rainbow Dash hadn't had a movement all day. Hopefully those she would be able to feel.

She looked at the packages by the closet. While the diapers were plain white, the pants had a cloud print on them. "White or clouds?" she asked Rainbow Dash. "Just to be safe."

Rainbow Dash had never been one to get much of a kick or like anything with a print. "White. As much as I love clouds, we're back in Cloudsdale, I get to see them everywhere." Rainbow Dash replied, actually chuckling a bit. "I feel like I should take a shower or something. Now I know how you felt earlier when you had your accidents. THough I bet you at least felt something before those."

"I did feel it, but not much," explained Fluttershy as she pulled a diaper out from the box. "And I don't know about a shower. I think I still took baths when I was this age. But we can ask Mom if you can take a shower when she's done talking to your mom." She held the diaper awkwardly in her hooves. "I'm not sure I remember how to put these on. I haven't babysat in a long time. Not since Scootaloo was still in diapers."

She blushed again as realized she was already starting to think like she was babysitting Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash thought back to when she had first taken Scootaloo in. The poor filly was still having night time issues. SHe stayed with Fluttershy most of the time because she couldn't fly. "That was a really long time ago. But I'm sure you can do it Fluttershy. It's just like flying, you never forget how to do it." She replied, giving her friend a morale boost, however silly the situation was. "We can probably take a bath together later if you want."
