So now 15 year old Lily was sitting in the back of this cab on her way to meet the uncal she has never known. millions of things were running though her head but it seemed her poor little hart had went nub. She couldn't care about anything any more she had no feelings she just felt cold and broken. All she wanted was to have her mommy back. She did want to meet her uncal as she knew her mother had loved him dearly and missed him a lot but part of her just didn't want to go on. It had only been about two days since she was in the car crash with her mother and witnessed her mothers body burn.

Around 16 years ago Lily's mother went away to study. There she met Jack. She fell for him right away and he preposed to her after only knowing her for two months. He then asked her to give him all her money to set up the wedding but the next day he was gone and two weeks latter May ( Lily's mothers) at only 17 found herself pregnate. She was too ashamed to tell her family so she got a small apartment in Scotland that only had one room pluse bathroom and kitchen. This is where Lily grew up. Once Lily was born her mother started drinking because of stress now in no way did her mother ever abuse her but Lily was rather nelegted her mother loved her but just couldn't care for her so from about the age of 5 Lily had to take care of herself and her mother. She was conect with there life even though from the age of 12 she had to work in a shirt bar where she was sexualy abused . As long as she had her mother she was happy.....but now she didn't.

The cab stopped and Lily sighed. She grabbed her bag pack which held her few cloths, her teddy, her photo album and her diary. She walked out into the rain and towards her uncales house. She had no idea what to exspect she had seen a few photos of him but that was that.

Lily was now dripping wet with her short brown hair clinging to her face. She was pale and just barly the size of a 9 year old. She could pass for a todler if it wasnt for all the black she had on. She had black skinnys and aboys black t shirt and hoodie. She knocked on the door shyly.

A young man of twenty five paced around the his living room nervously awaiting a niece he never knew he had and whom he had no swore to take care of. Only two short days ago did he learn of the whereabouts of his older sister and her untimely fate. Now he found himself the guardian of a teenage girl. His long blond hair followed behind him in a ponytail and he stroked his small goatee in thought.

Only a year out of college and into his career as a high school teacher and a life he had only just gotten used to and now he was in wait of this girl. "It's ok I've taken care of plenty of my other siblings kids before how could this be too different?" He asked himself. Going into the once spare bedroom of his small house he looked over it. A large bed with plain bedding and a dresser were all that occupied it. He wanted to make it more welcoming but he didn't wanna put something in that Lily wouldn't like.

A knock on the door suddenly calmed him down. "Ok here we go." He opened the door with a smile. "Hello. You must be Lily. Come on in it is pouring out there." He held the door open and motioned for her to come in."

Lily barly looked up at him as she slowly walked in. She was shivering all over and looked rather pale , scared and cold. She looked just like her mother did but perhpas when her mother was about 6 or 7.

She looks just like May did when we were younger. He thought. "You must be freezing Lily" He walks swiftly to the bathroom and get a towel for her. "Here you can dry off with this. Do you like hot chocolate?" He asked smiling as warmly as he could trying to make her feel welcome.

Lily shyly took the towel and dried off a bit with it. She nodded shyly and then she said the first words she had said to him " I don't want any though"She whispered she hadn't been hungry and has barley drank anything since her mothers death. Every time she ate she saw her mothers corps.

She sat down shyly and curled up on the seat and hugged her bag shivering

"Well is there anything I can get for you?" He asked not really sure what to do. "Anything at all?" Shea kneeled down beside her noticing all the more her and May's similar looks.

She shoke her head and buried her head into her bag. She had clearly been crying alot and looked about ready to break. She looked like she truelyly needed a hug. I want my mommy is all she could think over and over again in her head.

Shea noticed her look and knew that all of this must be hard on her. Not knowing what sort of reaction he'd get he leaned over and hugged her. "You know you look just like your mother when she was a little girl. I know things seem hopeless now but I'll do my best to be here for you Lily. I promise."

Lily tensed when he hugged her. She had never been hugged by anyone but her mother before. She whispered "Can I just go to bed?" She was very tiered as she hadnt slept in days

"Of course." He stood up and offered to carry the bag for her. "Let me show you to your room."

She held her bag tightly to her chest and folowed him to the room. She saw the bed and couldn't bileve how huge it was . The room it's self was basically the size of her hole home. She shyly put her bag on the bed and said . "Well um thanks for letting me stay here"She said shyly . She felt kinda awkwered standing there

"Well we are family so don't worry about it. I'll let you get comfortable..." His voice trailed off not sure what he could do to help her become more so. "If you need anything I'll be out in the living room. If you want we could watch some tv or something after you get settled."

Lily nodded shyly. She pulled out her teddy bear and a photo of her with her mother when she was 6 years old in her arms in her night time pull ups as she wet the bed till she was 7. She lay down hugging her teddy and the photo and sucked her thumb. She had taken off her jeans and was in one of her mothers big shirts that fit her like a dress and her plane white panties.

She driffted off and sucked her thumb in her sleep she dreamed about her mother death. She whimpered in her sleep and mumbeled "No...no mum watch out....no no....MOMMY!!!"She screamed nad frashed about the bed and peed herself

Hearing the noise from the living room of Lily's cry Shea bolted up and tosses aside a book he had been reading. He made his way to her room and opened the door. "Lily are you ok? I heard you yell so..." He noticed her bedding half on her and the floor from her thrashing. "You ok Lily?"

As he came in Lily was curled up in a ball crying and hugging her teddy bear. She sucked her thumb shyly . "M m m mommy"She sobbed. She was so scared and triffered she didn't know what to do all she knew is she needed someone. She flung her self into his arms .She was sobbing into him clinging onto him sobbing.

Shea held her tight as he sat done on a dry section of her bed. "Shh it's ok Lily. I'm here." For what that's worth he thought. After all she barely knows me. "It's gonna be ok."

She clung to him remembering all the happy stories her mother said about him her mother had really missed him. She clung to him and cried for half a hour before calming down and shyly pulled away. She then looked down and whimpered seeing she was wet. "I I I'm so sorry please don't kick me out it wont happen again it was an accident"She pleaded

He had noticed almost immediately her being wet but in her state it was the last thing that Shea wanted to bring up. "I know it was an accident and that it wasn't your fault at all Lily." He ruffled her hair a bit with a smile. "I would never ever kick you out though. No matter what. I want you to know that." He looked down at the bed. "Well better get this cleaned up." He hated to ask but he felt it needed. "Umm Lily...have you had accidents often or...?"

She blushed bright red and said. "No no no I haven't done this since I was little"She said quikly blushing bright red and looked down. She pulled the shirt trying to over her wet panties and some scars she had from working in an abuseive bar

"I figured that was the case. Well I'll get the sheets washed and gets some fresh ones for you. Would you like to get a shower or something to eat?"

Lily whimpered and nodded. She curled up in the showere and cried then got dressed and went down shyly holding her teddy bear and photo of her mother tightly. She was feeling vert vunrabel and didnt want to be alone. She looked down shyly and walked up to him and whispered "Can can I stay with you just now?" She mumbeled still sleepy. She wouldnt normaly show herself this vunrabel like this but wasn't in her nromal state of mind

Shea was sitting on the couch with a novel in hand. "Of course you can Lily." He grabs a pillow and lays it against his lap. He pats his lap. "You can lay right here if you want."

Lily very shyly sat down next to him as far from him as she could on his sofa. She hugged her teddy tightly. Her head cekpt dropping and it was creal she was trying ti fight sleep. She started to fall into him but jumped and woke up again blushing. "sorry"

"It's ok Lily." He pulls a blanket over and covers her with it. " Lay down and get some rest."

Lily shoke her head weakly and looked really scared. "I I I dont want a nightmare"She whipsered but was starting to drifft off again

"Don't worry I'll keep you safe." He assured her rubbing the young girl's back as she drifted off.
