Tristan Thorn had had a fairly simple and normal childhood. But shortly after his ascension into manhood, he had gone on the journey of a lifetime, which had culminated in the discovery that he was the rightful heir to the kingdom of Stormhold. Now he proudly sat on the throne, with his queen and wife, Yvaine the human star, to his side.

Yvaine truly loved and cherished him, and vice versa, and they absolutely refused to leave each other's side.

At present, the two of them had just concluded their coronation, and they were preparing to head up to the royal apartments.

"What are you thinking about right now?"

"Just how amazing yet overwhelming this all is," Tristan told his wife, "A month ago, I was a simple villager. Now, I've reunited my father with my mother, and I have this crown on my head."

Yvaine nodded. "It's certainly a lot to take in."

[AJbestpony]

Tristan nodded and continued walking along hand-in-hand. Soon they came to their bedchamber.

It was definitely as lovely as they'd expected.

[AJbestpony]

"Just look at that view," Tristan lamented, making his way to the balcony. "Maybe it's not as lovely as what YOU are used to, but it's still amazing."

Yvaine looked out and was quite impressed, naturally.

[AJbestpony]

Tristan sighed and wrapped an arm around her waist. "You know, Yvaine, despite only being a human for a few weeks, you seem to have taken quite well to living as one."

"Well, I don't quite know how to explain it, Tristan."

[AJbestpony]

"Maybe you're just an exceptionally fast learner," he speculated, "But if there's ever anything I can do to help you adjust somehow, just let me know. Your comfort is my foremost priority."

Yvaine nodded and sighed happily.

[AJbestpony]

The king and queen stood on the balcony for a long while. Then there was a knock on the door to their chamber.

"Come on in," Yvaine said.

[AJbestpony]

It turned out to be Una. "Hello, my dears," she said happily, walking over to her son and daughter-in-law.

"Hello there, ma'am," she said. Tristan went to hug her.

[AJbestpony]

Una smiled and embraced him warmly, savoring the sensation. She had not seen her son since he was in nappies.

(I have to get off now, but I'm available Friday)

"This is the best thing to ever happen to me," Tristan said.

[AJbestpony]

"I was just about to say the same thing," Una claimed, smiling up at her son.

[toxic34]

Tristan nodded and sighed happily.

Yvaine then made her way over to her husband and mother-in-law, asking the latter "What are your plans now, my lady?"

"I'm just so happy to be here with both of you."

[AJbestpony]

"I know what you mean," said Yvaine, joining the embrace. "I've never had anything resembling a family before, but it's absolutely wonderful to have one."

They sighed and then went back inside a ways.

"Would you mind if I helped you prepare for bed?" Una asked.

[toxic34]

"Not at all, Mother," Tristan stated.

[AJbestpony]

Una smiled and began to help Tristan and Yvaine out of their regalia. They had maids to do this, of course, but at least for tonight, Una wanted to do this herself.

They looked on as she did so.

When they were nearly naked, Una then produced what looked like some white folded cloths.

"What are you doing, Mother?"

[AJbestpony]

Una just smiled and said "You might say I'm catching up on lost time. And taking precautions, just in case Yvaine isn't fully accustomed to being a human yet."

Yvaine wasn't sure of what that meant.

[AJbestpony]

"These are called nappies," Una informed her daughter-in-law, "They're generally worn by human children until they've mastered control of their lower bodily functions. But there are exceptions..."

"Really?" she asked, quite curious.

[AJbestpony]

Una nodded her head. "Here, lay down on the bed. I'll help you put them on."

[toxic34]

Yvaine nodded and eagerly complied.

[AJbestpony]

Una smiled as her daughter-in-law laid down, and she proceeded to apply some powder to her nether regions, before sliding a pair of thick cloth diapers underneath her bottom and pinning them up securely around her waist.

"Hmm, these are quite soft and comfy."

[AJbestpony]

"I'm glad you think so," said Una, kissing the front of Yvaine's diaper, "You look lovely in them."

Tristan was dealt with in the same manner quite swiftly.

"Perfect," Una said merrily. She then got out a pair of blankets so that she might swaddle them up.

These were particularly lovely with interesting designs.

"I made these myself when I was a prisoner of Ditchwater Sal," Una explained as she bundled up her son and daughter-in-law, before tucking them into bed.

They nodded and settled in nice and comfortably.

[AJbestpony]

She kissed their foreheads, and then she left them to sleep.

[toxic34]

They definitely soon drifted off into a deep slumber.

[AJbestpony]

Una then retreated to her own bedchamber, where Dunstan was waiting for her.

"You clearly are in a great mood."

[AJbestpony]

She nodded her head. "How could I NOT be? I'm finally getting a proper chance at motherhood."

[toxic34]

Dunstan nodded and hugged her tightly.

[AJbestpony]

She sighed at the sensation, chuckling a bit when he groped her posterior.

[toxic34]

"You really are just so beautiful, darling."

[AJbestpony]

"And you are so handsome," she returned, nuzzling with him. She was then lifted into his arms.

[toxic34]

They laughed at that and sighed contentedly.

[AJbestpony]

Una smiled as she was then carried over to the bed and laid down.

[toxic34]

Dunstan smiled and lifted her gown.

[AJbestpony]

She giggled when he saw what she was wearing underneath. "What do you think, dearest?"

[toxic34]

"You look lovely in them."

[AJbestpony]

"I'm glad you think so," she said with a giggle, "I just finished putting our boy and his wife in some."

They smiled and spooned together under the covers.

[AJbestpony]

It was not long before they, too, were sound asleep.

The night went by quite peacefully.

The following morning, Tristan was the first to wake up.

(Have to do some watering in the yard for a bit. Back when I can. Shouldn't take long)

Yvaine still was fast asleep.

(Got it.)

Tristan smiled down at his wife and kissed her forehead. Then he pulled back the covers to check her diaper, curious if she had actually used it.

She had wet herself quite heavily.

[AJbestpony]

"Looks like Mother was right to take precautions," Tristan said with a chuckle, feeling the soaked padding.

Yvaine didn't stir as he did so.

[AJbestpony]

Tristan decided to go ahead and change her. Fortunately, Una had left the necessary supplies behind.

Yvaine was quite a heavy sleeper, apparently.

[AJbestpony]

Tristan whistled a tune as he undid his wife's diaper and wiped her up.

Yvaine began to wake up afterwards.

He had decided to pin her into some fresh diapers, both to be safe and because he thought she looked quite adorable in them. "Good morning, my love."

"Good morning, Tristan," she said quite sweetly.

[AJbestpony]

"Good morning to you, too," he said lovingly, kissing her full on the mouth.

She kissed back just as eagerly.

[AJbestpony]

As they had their affectionate moment, the maids came to tend to them.

"Good morning, both of you."

[AJbestpony]

"Good morning," Tristan said with a smile. He did not mind that he and his wife were still in only their nappies. However, he realized he did not know any of these women's names.

"Who are you?" Yvaine asked, wanting to get to know them.

[AJbestpony]

The head maid bowed to them and declared "You may call me Freya, Your Majesties."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Freya."

[AJbestpony]

She smiled and embraced them like she would her own children. "Shall I help you dress for the day?"

[toxic34]

"Sure thing," Tristan replied.

[AJbestpony]

Freya grinned and helped the king and queen to their feet, leading them over to a changing screen.

Yvaine was undressed first.

[AJbestpony]

As she stood in just her diaper, she watched as the maids got out a corset for her.

They made sure to fasten it securely, but not too tight.

[AJbestpony]

Once it was secure, she was placed in some tights and garters with a belt. Then came the gown.

It was gorgeous, the most she'd ever seen.

[AJbestpony]

It was soon pulled over her and cinched up in the back. "You look gorgeous," Tristan complimented her wife.

"Thank you for that, Tristan."

[AJbestpony]

Tristan then allowed the maids to dress him in a fine ensemble, complete with rob and crown. "Very good; thank you."

Freya nodded and bowed to them.

[AJbestpony]

Soon they went downstairs to breakfast. Dunstan and Una were already there waiting for them.

"Good morning," Una said cheerfully.

[AJbestpony]

"Good morning, Mother, Father," Tristan said warmly as he and Yvaine took their seats.

They sat down to eat a considerable spread.

[AJbestpony]

As they ate, Tristan said "I already have quite a few ideas for how to better the kingdom on my first day in court."

"Oh really?" Dunstan asked. "Do tell us."

[AJbestpony]

"To begin with, I'm doing away with that ridiculous law that the king's sons must fight to the death to determine the heir," Tristan commented, "MY children will grow up loving each other."

"That's a definite improvement, yes."

[AJbestpony]

Tristan grinned at their approval. "I will also push for more royal funds to be allotted to the hospitals, orphanages, and markets. Having grown up amongst the common folk, I understand their hardships quite well."

Yvaine was quite impressed with his thinking.

[AJbestpony]

He had several other clever ideas, which he shared over the course of the meal. He really did have his mother's blood; he took the responsibilities of royalty quite seriously.

"I think you are really going to turn things around here."

[AJbestpony]

"That is my hope," said Tristan. Soon breakfast was finished, and it was time to hold court.

They went to the throne room together.

[AJbestpony]

Tristan and Yvaine took their seats upon their thrones. Una would remain at her son's side to advise him, should he need it.

The first petitioner soon arrived.

[AJbestpony]

Tristan set up straight and said, "What would you ask of the crown?"

[toxic34]

"It's my father. He is languishing in debtors' prison."

[AJbestpony]

"To whom did he owe these debts?" Tristan inquired. He had heard there were some dishonest moneylenders in the kingdom, who he was determined to root out.

"I'm not sure, I wasn't aware of any debts."

[AJbestpony]

"Then his name will be sufficient," said Yvaine, "Tell us, and we will look into his case."

[toxic34]

"His name is Roland. Please help me."

[AJbestpony]

"We give you our word we will help him," Tristan asserted.

[toxic34]

That was quite reassuring, to say the least.

[AJbestpony]

Soon the first petitioner was shown out, and another quickly replaced her.

They all were definitely impressed and assured by Tristan and Yvaine.

Indeed, despite having little prior experience ruling or leading, they were naturals.

They stared at each other lovingly while doing so.

[AJbestpony]

"Any bets on how long before we're grandparents?" Dunstan whispered to Una.

[toxic34]

"I've got a feeling it will be 9 months exactly."

[AJbestpony]

"I wouldn't be surprised at all," said Dunstan. The next few hours went by in much the same fashion.

With that taken care of, they began to depart.

The four of them retreated to the royal apartments.

Yvaine smiled widely at her loving husband.

[AJbestpony]

He smiled and gave her a hug. After holding court for so long, they were both in need of a change.

Una took them aside for that.

[AJbestpony]

The young king and queen laid down beside each other, smiling up at her.

[toxic34]

She undid their nappies and proceeded to wipe them.

[AJbestpony]

"This feels quite nice," Yvaine said with a sigh as she was wiped up.

[toxic34]

"I'm glad that you think so."

[AJbestpony]

Yvaine nodded along. She quickly realized that she was quite parched. "I wonder if I could get something to drink."

[toxic34]

"Well, I can easily take care of that, too."

[AJbestpony]

Once Tristan and Yvaine were diapered back up, they watched as Una moved to undo her bodice.

She then brought the new king and queen to her breasts.

[AJbestpony]

They both latched on and suckled hungrily, savoring the taste.

[toxic34]

Una sighed quite happily at the feeling.

[AJbestpony]

Dunstan smiled and kissed his wife's forehead as she fed their son and his own wife.

She smiled at and kissed their foreheads.

[AJbestpony]

Soon they were full, and they belched loudly after their backs were patted.

Una smiled. "I love you so much."

[AJbestpony]

"We love you, too... Mummy," Tristan and Yvaine said in unison.

She sighed quite contentedly at that.

[AJbestpony]

"Would should we do now?" Dunstan asked, taking a seat beside the others.

[toxic34]

"Well, I'm not quite sure," Tristan admitted.

[AJbestpony]

"Why not swing by the library?" Una suggested, "They've a wide array of fascinating literature there."

[toxic34]

"Sure," Yvaine said, eager to figure out more about the world.

[AJbestpony]

The four of them soon made their way to the library. Freya and three of the maids accompanied them there.

They went to browse through the various tomes.

[AJbestpony]

"So much to read..." Dunstan observed, browsing through history, tragedy, drama, and more. "I don't even know where to begin."

[toxic34]

"Indeed," Tristan said quite excitedly.

[AJbestpony]

Eventually, they each took up a volume they each found interesting.

[toxic34]

They soon were lost in their own respective readings.

[AJbestpony]

Yvaine was amazed to discover just how large Earth really was, despite it being only one dot in the vast blanket of space.

Tristan noticed that look on his wife's face.

[AJbestpony]

She had a look of strange longing, as though she was yearning for something.

[toxic34]

"What is it, Yvaine?" he asked her.

[AJbestpony]

"I was just reading about family life, and I find this strange feeling, like there's an emptiness within me," she told her husband.

[toxic34]

"I understand," Tristan said, embracing her from behind.

[AJbestpony]

She smiled and reached her arm around to hug him. "Tristan... I think I want a baby."

[toxic34]

"You shall have one," he said. "I promise."

[AJbestpony]

She smiled widely and kissed him passionately in appreciation.

[toxic34]

He kissed Yvaine back and sighed.

[AJbestpony]

The rest of the day went by quite ordinarily. After supper, Tristan and Yvaine retreated to their bedroom once again.

They proceeded to undress each other and prep to make love to each other.

Yvaine gazed lustfully into her husband's eyes as he mounted her. She practically ordered him, "Inside me. Now."

Tristan kissed her as he did as she wanted.

[AJbestpony]

She moaned in arousal as he rapidly thrust in and out of her.

[toxic34]

He did likewise. They went on for several rounds together before finishing.

By the time they were finished, they were both utterly spent.

(I have to get off now. The next time I'm free will be Monday; I've got stuff going on over the weekend)

"That was just wonderful."

"I couldn't agree more," said Tristan. As they laid in each other's arms, Una came back in to diaper them back up.

(Going to quickly make a grilled cheese, then I'll be right back.)

She then smothered them both with kisses.

They kissed her back, and then they began to nod off.

[toxic34]

Una then decided to join them in bed, snuggling with them under the covers.

It hardly took any time for them to fall asleep.

Indeed, they slept quite peacefully through the entire night.

When Tristan and his mother woke up the following morning, they awoke to the sound of retching.

Yvaine was spewing quite violently into a nearby wastebasket.

[AJbestpony]

Freya was holding her hair back for her in the process. "Let it all out, Your Majesty," she said softly, patting her back.

(Oh, I have yet another original idea; this one could take place during WWII.)

(What is it, exactly?)

She did indeed keep going quite a while.

[AJbestpony]

(It would be a type of dual-story. One arc would take place in Europe; the other in the Pacific. It would involve an Allied soldier or nurse capturing a German and Japanese soldier or spy respectively, and ultimately bringing them around to the atrocities committed by the Axis. We could decide on more specific details later on.)

When she was done, Tristan and Una got up and waddled over to her.

Yvaine groaned after she finished.

Tristan wiped her brow for her, and Una just smiled and folded her arms. "We all know what this means."

She smiled weakly at that thought.

[AJbestpony]

Tristan just embraced her tenderly. "Still, we better keep a close eye on you. I'm pretty sure you're the first example of a pregnant star."

She nodded. "Well, don't worry. I don't really feel like doing anything else but laying down."

[AJbestpony]

"In that case..." said Tristan, lifting his wife into his arms and carrying her back over to the bed.

Yvaine sighed as she was tucked back in.

[AJbestpony]

"You get some rest," he bade her, "Freya, who among the maids is best qualified to care for bedridden people?"

[toxic34]

"That would be Robyn. She's also the midwife."

[AJbestpony]

"Alright," said Tristan, "For the next nine months - or however long stars gestate - I would like her to be assigned to the queen's care."

Robyn soon emerged to take her place.

[AJbestpony]

Yvaine smiled at her as she got comfortable. "Thank you very much."

[toxic34]

"I'm honored to tend to you, ma'am."

[AJbestpony]

Yvaine just smiled up at her. Tristan then went to have breakfast with his parents.

Dunstan had heard the news. "Congratulations, son!"

[AJbestpony]

He smiled and embraced his father. "Thank you for saying so."

[toxic34]

He hugged Tristan back and smiled. "I'm sure you'll get the chance to be the father I couldn't be."

[AJbestpony]

"You did a fantastic job of raising me, Father," Tristan asserted, patting him on the back, "I would not trade my childhood for anything. Unless, of course, Mother could have been with us."

They nodded and began to sit down to eat.

[AJbestpony]

"So, what is on the agenda for today?" Una asked as they ate.

[toxic34]

"Well, we're going to do a trip to the orphanage."

[AJbestpony]

"That sounds very nice," Una said in approval. Before she was taken prisoner by Ditchwater Sal, she had frequented plenty of orphanages herself.

"You particularly like visiting the children, Mother?"

[AJbestpony]

She nodded at that. "I tried to care for some whenever Sal would allow me. It was the only way I could even begin to fill the void left by you."

[toxic34]

"Do tell," Tristan replied at that thought.

[AJbestpony]

Una thought back to when she had helped a young homeless girl find comfort and refuge just a few years back.

(Flashback)

The girl was quite young, clearly no older than 4.

[AJbestpony]

Sal had parked her wagon nearby. Thankfully, Una's ankle chain allowed her to come that close. "Are you alright, dear?" she asked softly.

The young girl was sniffling and found herself being held by Una.

[AJbestpony]

"It's alright," said Una, "I'm here for you." She went to get the girl something to eat.

[toxic34]

Thankfully, she began to eat quite eagerly.

[AJbestpony]

"Have as much as you'd like," Una bade her. She did not have much to offer out of her own pocket, but she could never turn her back on someone in need.

The girl sighed after she felt much better.

[AJbestpony]

"There we are," Una said with a smile once she was done eating. "What is your name?"

[toxic34]

"Jeanne," she replied softly.

[AJbestpony]

"That's a beautiful name," the princess said happily, "My name is Una."

[toxic34]

She nodded and then blushed as Una felt her backside.

[AJbestpony]

She was a little surprised to discover the girl was diapered, but she did not mind. "You need a change."

[toxic34]

Jeanne was taken into the wagon and laid down for a change.

[AJbestpony]

Una undid her diaper and wiped her clean, being very delicate with her.

[toxic34]

Jeanne shivered a bit, and then noticed as Una leaned in closer.

[AJbestpony]

She playfully blew raspberries into her navel, tickling her a bit.

[toxic34]

She giggled quite happily at that.

[AJbestpony]

It only took Una a couple moments to put together something which could serve as a replacement nappy.

Jeanne felt much better, and Sal threw her prisoner a bone.

[AJbestpony]

"I'll let you go long enough to find a place for her," said Sal, "But you'd best come back once you have, Your Highness. Remember: there's no place you can go where I can't find you."

"Thank you for that," she said, holding Jeanne in her arms.

[AJbestpony]

The little girl clung to her, as though she did not wish to be parted from her.

[toxic34]

Apparently, there were no viable options in the time limit, so Jeanne had to stay for a while. As if knowing that, Sal had done one additional kindness by getting needed supplies, just in case.

"I promise you; you'll hardly even notice she's here," Una asserted. She planned to care for Jeanne all by herself, if need be.

Sal nodded as Una got back in with her new charge. By now, Jeanne had messed herself quite heavily. The makeshift diaper held, but it was a good thing there were proper ones to use now.

Fortunately, in the little time she had had Tristan, she knew how to properly change someone. Una carefully undid the makeshift padding and began to wipe her up.

Jeanne giggled quite happily.

[AJbestpony]

"You're such a good girl," she cooed, wiping her up and applying some powder.

[toxic34]

Jeanne smiled as she was then thickly rediapered and then smothered with kisses.

[AJbestpony]

Una then pulled out a blanket and began to swaddle the young girl.

[toxic34]

They snuggled together quite happily.

[AJbestpony]

It did not take Jeanne long to fall asleep. She seemed more at peace then than she had in a long time.

(End flashback)

"She was the best thing to happen to me, until you came back. As a matter of fact, I formally adopted her, and she's a maid here right now."

[AJbestpony]

"Going by the timeline, she would be a little older than our boy," Dunstan noted. Tristan smiled. "I guess that means I have a big sister now."

"Indeed," Una said. She then chuckled a bit as Jeanne, in her maid's outfit, approached her adoptive mother.

[AJbestpony]

She did a proper and practiced curtsy, saying "Is there anything I might do for you?"

[toxic34]

"I think we're doing just fine. How about you, dear?"
