I disagree, I see a lot more vulnerability in Liu Kang than you're giving him credit for. Plus, isn't that often part of being a little? Being in a space where feelings that you wouldn't ordinarily be 'allowed' to show are gently coaxed out into the open?
Plus, you say he's not emotionally dependent on someone; I point to his entire history with Kitana, but especially so in MK11. Even after attaining godhood he seeks Raiden's guidance because "I can't do it alone."
-
He has a far more dominant personality. He can be playful I'll admit that, but I don't see him being very vulnerable or emotionally dependent on someone.
-
What exactly prevents Liu Kang from being babied and coddled? Especially from Raiden, who he would be the most likely to feel most vulnerable around?
-
Raiden I can see as. A caregiver. I can barely see Liu Kang as a little. Especially since I like for my littles to be babied and coddled a lot.
-
Meanwhile, Raiden would be equally as eager to be a caregiver to Liu Kang as he's gone on record to declare that he see's him as a son.
-
Mileena has shown across recent games that she wants a family, and acceptance. If she sees value in someone to be her heir she would put her all into that investment. She's probably the biggest MK character I can see as a caregiver given her desperation for family and acceptance across several continuities.
-
You really don't. Look at it this way: Why would any of the canon characters care so deeply about some stranger they've just met? It takes a lot of acting out of character for them to drop everything to care about a new person--especially when most characters would probably just kill them as soon as look at them.
Mileena, for example, wouldn't have the patience or want to be a caregiver.
-
Again, that's why I rarely play cannons as littles. Cannons work better as caregivers. You have to make cannons too out of character to be littles.
-
See, I really disagree with that. I think Liu Kang, especially, has a lot of angst that we can tap into--especially if his caregiver is Raiden. Plus, to be fair, if we were gonna be so stringent about it: *none* of these characters would probably turn to this kind of scenario anyway. That's the beauty of role-play, we find reasons for why and we tap into it.
-
I prefer playing males as well, but that's why I always make an OC. Most characters I can't see as littles. Many aren't vulnerable enough, or are too strong. Especially with male characters.
