Holy shit, Tom. I may have just fucked up big time.

I have the house to myself this week, and I was thinking about what we talked about so I went out to buy diapers, just teen sized pull ups. I felt sick with nerves all day, just thinking about whether or not to go through with it. I barely felt like eating.

So I finally went to the store to get them. It all went super smoothly, even though I probably acted really weird in the baby aisle. I grabbed a pack, went to the self serve checkout, feeling relaxed and fine. I paid for everything, and then looked up to see the back of my mum, walking into the store.

I have no idea if she saw me or what I was buying. For all I know she could've been watching me the whole time. I'm 99% sure that she didn't see anything, but there's still a shred of doubt. It was far away and blocked by a bunch of other things, so who know?

I booked it out of there pretty quick, and just got back home.

Haha, that's the example I was going to use as well. Like, I'm a gay dude, gay marriage was legalised in Australia recently and that's cool. But still, like a third of the people here don't support gay marriage. There's still tons of places where people have to keep it secret, or get disowned by their parents. Can you imagine how much crazier it would be for ABDLs? Also ABDLs make up far smaller a percentage of the population.

Also, for some people ABDL is a sexual thing, which isn't cool to do in public, IMO.

They definitely weren’t perfect, but they were better than nothing for a broke teen.

You never know. A few decades ago there was a huge stigma about being LGBT, but now things, while far from perfect, have improved dramatically, with gay marriage being legal in a lot of different countries now.

Haha, that's the classic way of doing it isn't it? So many people have done towels and garbage bags. The towels are never absorbent enough though.

I don't know. There's so many other things that already aren't accepted, that I feel are way more important. It would be cool for it to happen, but I just don't see it happening. Doesn't mean people can't do it in private.

I used to fold a towel like a diaper, then use a belt to keep it on. I would use a garbage bag as a pseudo pair of plastic pants.

I used to visit this site as a teen, but I don’t think I became a member until I turned 18. I was officiated an “adult” then.

Haha, yes lol. I used to stuff my underpants with old towels. Or sometimes I'd just wrap a thick blanket around my crotch, just to get the bulky feeling.

Lol thinking back on being an AB/DL teenager is hilarious. I actually had an account on here that got banned when I was too young.

Anyway I'm just not sure about this being accepted. I just don't feel that it needs to be. Things are kind of fine the way they are. Some things should just be kept private.

Okay, that’s fair enough. I get worried too sometimes about someone seeing them, but I usually hide them pretty well. Have you ever tried making your own diaper, like with an old towel? I used to do that all the time when I was a kid.

There's a couple of reasons. I live in Australia so shipping is expensive. I still live with my family and don't really have anywhere to keep them. I'd be too paranoid having a whole pack of them around, especially when I'm not there. I'm lucky enough that I could still probably fit into good nights if I wanted, so if I was going to buy, I'd probably start with those.

As for ABDL being publicly accepted, I very much doubt it. I'm not even sure it should be. It's a tricky issue. I'm going to think about it a bit more.

I’d be nervous too. Can you not afford diapers or are you just scared of getting caught? Also out of curiosity, do you ever think ABDL’s will be publicly accepted?

Whoa, you got unlucky twice! I haven't ever bought diapers before so I've never had to go through that. There was one time though, when I took one of my little brother's pull ups and hid it. Then the next day I found it out of its hiding place, where people could see. 90% sure it just fell out, but still, made me very nervous for a while after.
