A good catch might be that she can do it subconsciously - so if her friends/parents tease her, or she sees something that makes her feel babyish, they think they're her babysitters, for example.

Maybe it switches based on what age she currently is? So when she's in her normal body, her parents remember things normally, but when she's a baby her parents think that her and her sister are twins.
