Well, with number 1: Eventually the regression will slowly fade away and as the sub heals they will need to be re potty trained

Yea but it needs to be more specific , a goal in mind to work towards.

With the first one there will also the sub dealing with the injuries associated with the incident
with the second one there will be the sub trying to cope with a setting in which every aspect of their life isnt controlled

Ok , thoes are sound ideas but where are you going to go with them. They'll die like mayflies if it's just the regression , adoption and then nothing.
