How about we do some scene skips, but we start with them running into each other. My character who works the truck that new merchandise comes on, and works a department once the truck is done. So he drops off some stuff seeing her working different departments. The first scene would him just saying hi and being polite, then the next time he sees her holding the diapers, and the next scene would have her twirling a pacifier around her finger while on break or something, but it's something she has to put in "returns" since it is out of its original package. Then maybe he sees her making an odd face and squirming in an aisle and asks to see if she's okay and maybe she blurts out what is going on, or shows some of her diaper somehow?
