Also did you know the Japanese dub for mlp;fim renamed the Everfree forest as when translated back in English in a way that makes sense ''The never come back forest''? Yeah a lot of changes to the cartoon in Japan's dub gives off a ''4kids'' English anime dub feel.. But I can't help feel given our MLP set up of Alicorns aging a lot slower that the Japanese renaming of it would be something that Celestia and Luna when younger thought was a good name for it but the places name evolved over time.. Heck we could do that with a lot of the MLP G1 and up locations to explain the new names for locations in G4
