well apparently they bought some during 2007 and still have a 1/3 to this day left

It's the same stuff they use in normal diapers, but they normally just put in a thin strip of it.

Lol, I checked it out, and NASA has a limited supply that they had specially made about 20 years ago, so they probably don't sell them. Although, one of them popped up for sale about 3 years ago.

Maximum Absorbency Garment
the absorbing thing can hold up to 400 times its own wieght
thats pretty absorbent
