I just don't like throwing things in if it won't further the plot of the rp. The mother can come in when it gets to time for Serena to be fully diapered, but right now it doesn't serve a purpose.

Hug her, tell her how worried she was, then interrogate her for why she was there. Once she found out it was shopping with Amy, she lightens up, but does something to punish her for not calling immediately when she could. Simple, like no desert after dinner for a week or something.
