Everybody loves Toph, the greatest earthbender of all time! When I introduced the series to my friend and little brother, she became both their favorites and they always fought over her LOL.
I like the relationship Toph had with Katara, and I wanted Toph to get with Sokka but I guess Suki got in the way :/

2D animation and 3D animation are pretty different, though. =P
It's not that I like older stuff specifically. I like watching older and newer animes, but with the ones already out, I don't have to wait a long time for the next episode to come out because they're all already out. >w<
But trust me, I have plenty of references to go off of. I even look at other people's creations on Youtube for references as well.

You'll learn so much about animation from watching any one of his flims though! When you have the time, I recommend Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, or Whisper of the Heart.
It's all older stuff like you seem to like~

I just finished book 1: AIR of Korra, it's cool how avatar went Water, Earth, Fire and now season 1 of Korra is Air cuz that's what she had to master~

I'm just now finishing up "Legend of Korra", the sequel the Avatar: The Last Air Bender, prolly the best animation ever to air on on american tv ever EVER

The way the attack on titan anime ended was super weird... they are so setting up for a sequel when there's enough material to work with from the manga- good for them though! filler would have killed the hype, made fans hate the show.

I'm far enough in the manga where I know of this really SUPER hairy Titan, and it can talk and other Titans listen to it's orders.

I've...actually haven't been keeping up to date with modern-day animes and movies and such. Everything I've been watching are things that have been out for a few years now. >w<

Although...I have bought all of the Attack on Titan mangas and have caught up with the story thus far.

Miyazaki did prolly his last movie, the Wind Rises, it's kinda sad he's retiring, I've seen like, 14 of his movies, not everthing he's done, but most everything he worked very closely with or was his idea.

Currently, I have a personal tutor who I've moved down to live with in Texas so he can teach me 3D animation. He recently got hired by a company that works there.
