Reason is I don't want to spoil the series in the Ideal explaining but we don't need to use any of the canon characters aside from maybe one or 2 that would hold relevance
I also had a ideal where in some universe Jacob or Jeanne somehow come across Loki's mask or we could have 2 masks so as to have a excuse why in the cartoon The mask works any time yet in the movie it just works at night like perhaps the one from the cartoon was made before Loki was a Norse night god or when he no longer was one so it works day and night yet the one from the movie only works at night because Loki was a Norse Night god at the time it was made
