I call Jim going with hes still a member of the team seeing as hes easy to stay in character and was very useful in the ep he found out about the kids secrets. I say go with he got enough being around those X.A.N.A bugs that when the return to the past program was started up he retained the memory's of that one day was worried about the kids so he got another better paying job as a product and game tester.

Thereby allowing Jim to stick around the factory as he tests products and maybe say he bought the place fixed it up so it was safe for alot of reasons,make it into a home basically when it come to him owning it it thought why not live into it so he fixed one chunk of the place as a home,Finding it funny how much he fell in love with the place
