Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on DiaperedAnime:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.

I like it. There could be tame ones that have just come to except their new life and wilds ones that still try to fight it
Maybe something similar to how big game hunting works pops up where people pay a guide to lead them to one of the free tribes so they can bag a pet themselves.
Perhaps they're rounded up in camps and sold like slaves or animals, and the last few free tribes are constantly harassed by slave hunters. If a neko has no owner it is a stray and can be claimed by anyone. And just like pets, the younger and cuter, the higher price they fetch.
I like the idea of shows too.
Sorry for the delay. It's an interesting idea. The plot I had in mine was as a act of revenge human society makes life as humiliating as possible of the nekos. We could even do something like a dog show just for nekos.
I did multiple RPs like that in a sci-fi setting, where nekos are bioengineered and hame no human rights, essentially treated like pets. And because the first batches had some flaws, like poor bowel and bladder control, and violent bursts, they are required to wear diapers, locking clothing and restraints at all time.
