I've enjoyed French burnt, candy coated, roasted peanuts before. They're readily available in pushcarts all over in my location (I'm in the NorthEast) for around $1.50 for a tiny handful, wax paper bag.

You didn't miss much. As I recall, it was gross. I chewed bubble gum as a kid but I wasn't crazy about swallowing soda that tasted like it. I also remember that there was toothpaste that was bubble gum flavored (I wouldn't use it now as an adult though)! Hell, Crest still offers it to this day! See -> https://www.amazon.com/Crest-Protect.../dp/B019FGCLL0!

Oh. that's a shame for you that you can't enjoy the rich, deep flavor of dark chocolate. Well, at least you're not allergic to nuts like some poor folks. A Hershey bar with almonds is good for everyday snacking. I've heard rave reviews for Toberlone with almonds but I've never tried one due to its higher cost (It's milk chocolate, not pure chocolate with almonds. Toberlone is supposedly more popular in Europe than in the US)-> https://www.instacart.com/shopping/p...almond-3.52-oz.

Candy buttons? Oh, you're too much of a little baby girl (Though you can't give candy buttons to baby girls because of the chocking hazard)! We "older babies" [toddlers] prefer Necco Wafers -> https://www.spanglercandy.com/our-brands/necco-wafers or Conversation Hearts -> https://www.brachs.com/products/vale...on-hearts.html.

I found an interesting article about the demise of one of the largest companies that mass produced button candy and Necco Wafers but fortunately those candies are being brought back by others (Scroll down that page for the article text)-> https://k1047.com/2019/03/22/what-ha...assic-candies/. The article also mentions "Mary Janes" and other long forgotten candies (I've never even heard of "Squirrel Nut Zippers") of our childhood (I also remember enjoying another molasses and honey based candy like "Mary Janes" called "Bit-O-Honey"). Those were the days~!

You know I've not had Boston Baked beans but I love Jordan Almonds. I enjoy french burnt peanuts though. Redhots are also divine.

Wait... BUBBLE YUM HAD A SODA?! LoL I missed that band wagon.

Filet is my favorite cut. As for Martinis, I've had more bad than good, and one of my favorite drinks is a dirty martini: extra olives. If you like fruity, order a jolly rancher drink or a "starburst." It's all the fruity schnapps mixed with sprite / 7up. It's delightful!

Cadbury chocolate is amaaazing. So is some good Lindor. For whatever reason, dark chocolate triggers muh migraines so I avoid it. Every once and a while I indulge though; it hits the coffee vibe for me.

    CANDY BUTTONS FOR LIFE!

(I replied on my own wall at first. GJ, me.)

    You're most welcomed~!

Meh. I can go either way. Technically, neither one is really licorice candy since neither of them contain the extract of the Licorice plant (See "Are Red Vines or Twizzlers made from real licorice?" in the following article -> https://www.huffpost.com/entry/what-...rice_n_6800152. IMHO, texture wise, Twizzlers are a little tougher than Red Vines while Red Vines are a little more chewy. It's sort of like the old beef jerky debate: What is the best kind of beef jerky? One that is tougher to eat in your mouth (Insures that you're getting more real beef than tenderizers, preservatives and fillers) or one that is more chewy (Has more tenderizers, preservatives and fillers than real beef)?

Oh wow. I've never even heard of horehound candies! It's good to learn something new (If I don't know about it then it's new to me)! Yeah, I feel the same way about Green Apple (Granny Smith) flavored candies like Jolly Ranchers. Bleh!

Red licorice beans are another candy that I've never heard of! Have you heard of Red Hots or Boston Baked Beans candies? I've tried both and actually like Red Hots (It has a nice sweet and spicy kick). I'm not crazy about Boston Baked Beans candy though (It's basically a peanut wrapped in a hard candy shell). If you like Jordan Almonds (Almonds wrapped in hard candy shells) then you'll like Boston Baked Beans candy! Yeah, black licorice really is an "Acquired taste" - "Either you like it or you don't" See why in the following article -> https://www.nbcnews.com/healthmain/w...heories-963738

I don't get ribbon candy too often for Christmas since the tin boxed candies are expensive just like tin boxed fruit cake [I like the ones with rum in it~!] (It's either that or an actual gift, so I'd prefer the latter). Oooh! You must be talking about "Bubble Yum" soda! -> https://www.bevnet.com/reviews/bubbleyum/Original I remember drinking that pink soda as a very little kid back in the late '70s! They actually still sell it though it's hard to find. I wouldn't want to drink it now though as I guess as an adult, the idea of drinking bubble gum no longer appeals to me!

Beer and steak for life sounds good - I'd like to have a nice Filet Mignon or a PorterHouse steak with some Au Gratin potatoes on the side (It's been a while). I'm not really into wine - It all tastes more vinegary than fruity to me (I must not have a "Trained palate" for it - My older sister and her husband drinks that once a day for health benefits) but count me in for mixed drinks like "Sex on the Beach", "White Russian", "Chocolate Cake Martini" and "Mohito". I'd choose a few Marguritas for losing my mind. No, I don't support green apples but I do recommend that you try an Appletini. Surprisingly, the taste can range from being very sweet to being sweet and sour depending upon the bartender that you visit.

I love the deep, bittersweet taste of dark chocolate (Plus, it's actually healthy for you -> https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/324747.php). I also enjoy chocolate like a Cadbury Fruit and Nut bar. This is not to be confused with milk chocolate which is chocolate cut with powdered milk (e.g. a Hershey bar). It's okay for the everyday but if given the choice between milk chocolate and pure chocolate, I'd prefer the latter (Godivas are a rare treat for me with Lindor Truffles appearing under my Christmas tree on ocassion). White chocolate is not really chocolate but the fat skimmed from chocolate. I enjoy its smooth, rich flavor sometimes whenever I can afford it (It's not cheap).

Aww! You don’t know how much it means to me! Thanks! You are a sweet!

Red is amaaaziiing. Now let’s fite! Twizzlers or REDVINE?! (LoL I like both but REDVINE! REDVINE!)

I remember when I was little, I use to get the horehound candies. I forget who made them, but they used to be so good! I found some by the brand in Amish country and now they’re genuinely awful. I always wonder if my adult tastebuds changed or if the recipe changed. I was that weirdo kid that went around trading my red, orange, and purples for the lime and licorice pieces of candies! Never for green apple though. Green apple is evil and not to be trusted. EVIL!

I’d ship red licorice beans. I’m telling you. Nothing but lime skittles would be a rage hit too. Salt licorice doesn’t taste salty to me. It’s just less sweet and like… between a hard candy and licorice! It’s almost leathery? Haha! They’re usually shaped like little coins or fun things. I find people either LOVE or HHAAAATTTEEEE black licorice though. (Most normal folk hate it. X,D)

Ribon candy is a staple for Christmas. Rootbeer barrels are the bomb. And whatever those cherry sours candies are. I think I’m just all about sugar really. Sarsaparilla is also amazing. I remember there was a bubblegum ice cream too I was wild about. I’d get Tutti Frutti when I couldn’t find the bubblegum flavor though. But the Tutti Frutti I had was radio-active pink and likely contained no real fruit.

Beer and steak for life! Pinot Noir at night. Mixed drinks for parties. Fireball for losing your mind. I can drink anywhere! –unless it’s green apple flavored. -squint- Are you an agent of green apple?!

;D We can always start the great CHOCOLATE WAR! Dark chocolate or light? Or are you a white chocolate fan? (Milk chocolate forever, but white is good now and then. Dark is a migraine maker for me!)

Oh, I see. Well, just keep on working at it. Like the old saing goes "Practice makes perfect". I wish you good luck at becoming published someday~!

I like red licorice (Twists and whips) and exotic flavored licorice like Pina Colada (See -> https://www.candydirect.com/products...-colada-12-lbs) but I'm not a fan of Black licorice. It's too bitter for my taste. Even as a little kid, whenever I had a highly sugar coated Chuckles jelly candy, I used to eat all of the other fruit flavored pieces and give or throw away the black licorice piece! Whenever I got a bag of jelly beans, I used to eat all the fruit flavored jelly beans and the vanilla flavored white ones but always left the black licorice jelly beans untouched (IMHO, candy companies should have made some bags with red licorice jelly beans instead of the black ones, so that peeps like me wouldn't have to waste some of the candy in the bag. Salty licorice? I've only heard of it on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmer. It's something that Scandinavians enjoy. I've never tried it before but I would imagine it to be a salty, bitter taste (It's not really my "Cup of tea"). There's a YouTube video about some peeps' reactions to its taste -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5ftok3T1GA

I do enjoy other "Old fashioned" candy like crispy, crunchy, ribbon candy (See -> https://www.ohnuts.com/buy.cfm/bulk-...e-thin-6ct-box) and hard root beer barrels (See -> https://www.justcandy.com/products/n...iABEgIL2_D_BwE)! Black licorice must be an acquired taste like beer - Either you like it or you don't. I heard of a soda that tastes like black licorice called Sarsaparilla (See here about exact taste) but its hard to find or when you do find it, it's usually expensive (For soda). The same goes for an ice cream flavor called "Tutti Frutti" (I heard that Baskin Robbins offers it on some occassions). It's not offered much or is hard to find probably because it costs too much to make real Tutti Frutti (The ingredients include candied fruits [Usually cherries, raisins and pineapples] and dried nuts) I never got to try either one. I'm not much of a beer drinker (I prefer mixed drinks and some hard liquor but only in moderation) but I enjoy the taste of Heineken, Corona and Sam Adams - The taste of those beers go well with beef and other meats.

I'm pretty standard as far as the author-spectrum goes. It's a hobby and I've written queries. My ideas are a bit lackluster and my craft likely needs polishing. It's a work in progress though and certainly a dream.

LOL! Like the old saying goes, "Old is gold!"

BTW - I see on your profile page that you are an author. Is that a hobby of yours or your profession? If it's the latter, have any of your written works been published by a publishing firm? Also, look at what I found (They actually ship to the US)! -> https://www.alandia.de/absinthe-haml...yABEgLIu_D_BwE

Here's an illustration of "The Green Fairy" that I found on Pinterest which you might like:
