Since about when i was 20, i was starting community college then, and i was kinda stuck between comp sci and therapy, tried the comp sci route, it didn't work out

It sounds like a tough yet very rewarding profession to be in. How long since you knew you wanted to do this?

Therapy is certainly a difficult profession for that reason. We call it vicarious trauma, and its something we have to do our best to avoid at all times.

How was it dealing with that? I briefly considering being a therapist, but given that I am on the autism spectrum and have dangerous amounts of empathy, it wouldn't be healthy for me. I tend to absorb the emotions of those around me.

I certainly will be trained in such and very much expecting it yes, in fact at my previous job I already hadt o handle it quite often

I mostly intend to focus on late teens to early 20s dealing with issues such as anxiety and depression
