It’s basically that the protagonist is a secret tbdl for different reasons depending on the universe and a close confidant finds out and decides to take care of them. For example for the black butler world ciel’s a secret tbdl because it helps him with relieving stress that comes from being a child earl, a business owner, and from being the queens guarddog. And Sebastian is the close confidant that finds out.
