Yes. And surprisingly enough, Chinese classes in Korean high schools are getting as popular as English. Although, French and German are still available. Spanish is very rare. Russian is popular as university level courses.

I miss Canada. Especially all of my Chinese and Muslim friends. T_T
I'm more sadden by the fact that Korean-Americans don't learn Chinese.

It's actually easier to get into Canadian schools than American schools. Besides, the tuition is cheaper in Canada. Trust me, I've gone through this in both countries.
