So I was thinking this tie around that we don't do any regression, if you don't mind. But perhaps we focus on Zelda gaining her goddess powers. Now in the game she was super frustrated and getting a bit pissy. So I was thinking that for this we can have her out with Link and at one point when they get attacked, perhaps she's about to be hit and a light flashes above her, blasting away the creatures and saving the day. However she passes out, and a diaper appears on her, under her pants, her underwear gone. She would also have a golden pacifier in her mouth.

She then has a dream where her mother is holding her as a baby, and we play this along as she gains more of the power, she is able to use it the next day, and these blackout situations happen a couple more times until she unlocks her full abilities.

I would say that this doesn't make her act babyish, but it starts to create a want to wear diapers and rely on a pacifier to calm her down to focus, and the powers she gains put a toll on her body where she ends up filling her pants before she can do much about it. I'm not suggesting incontinence, but her body is getting used to the power and thus it's weak against the results from gaining the power at first.
