I mean we could just have her wait a day until the urge hits her to be babied by another of her friends. Like she spends the day thinking about how this whole magic works and figures out a "babysitting schedule" for herself.
I dont' think we necessarily need some big crisis, at least not right away.

Okay, I’m gonna level with you, I’m just not sure how to transition to the next regression unless the spell somehow goes out of control and activated itself as random times.

Like she figured if she was a baby she wouldn’t have to deal with it. Or she just needed some time to figure things out and being a baby was the best escape.
The other idea is that she runs into one of her friends who wants her to do something she doesn’t want to do and excuses herself to turn into a baby to get out of it.

What do you think about after the spell where’s off with Fluttershy, she heads home to find her house being repossessed because she missed a form or something. This would lead to her using the spell again.
