This is my own backstory. Its not in game.
The twins memory was also effected, but over the course of the dark signer saga, as jake dueled with them, the magic started to get broken by the crimson dragon’s influence in events.

Thought was that it finally breaks completely during the final duel against goodwin, where jake’s runner gets spun out and he has an injury necessitating need of pamps. Or like, the padding is a flaw in the age up or something.
As for whats in a duelist daycare, i’d imagine just like the standard stuff for a normal daycare/preschool, but some tiny dueling tables or something for them to learn duel monsters.
