Well I was gonna say, wrestling would be the best way to get those kinds of crazy complex poses you need.
-
For my tastes, I would probably end up drawing a diapered warrior soiling herself in a fight. I've already started my next image though, so that idea will have to wait.
-
Well, if you don't want to go that direction, how about the other way? Spanking, forced diapering, or old-fashioned diaper sex? All very good excuses for those kinds of poses.
-
That's a good point. Those are pretty tough to handle. I'm not so much into the baby stuff though, so I don't have much desire to draw hugging and the like. Maybe I'll think of something though.
-
Well, if we stay on the FF13 track, try Hecatoncheir and Vanille, since Hecaton could change her, feed her a bottle, hand her a stuffed toy, and cradle her at the same time, and still have arms to spare.
Of course, that's cheating a bit for me, since it's really just what I want to see. But seriously, some of the hardest poses are one where people hold onto each other. Try some.
-
Well, fair enough. I drew some eyes for you. Also, I'm all for attempting complex poses, but they might not necessarily end up on this site. If you can think of a diaper scenario that requires a challenging pose, I'm open to suggestions.
-
Personally I don't think drawing a guy with no eyes helps in either respect, not that I really minded him not having eyes, it let me make a funny joke.
Really it would seem to me that you should try more complex poses and facial expressions if you want speed. Nothing can slow you down like realizing you've drawn an arm or a nose that looks like it's made of silly putty, and you can never know what poses you might need.
-
I actually think it's important to work on both. Sometimes I'll take a piece as far as I can, generally when I'm working from life. But there's also a lot to be learned from rapid repetition of the early stages of a painting. Especially if you're into animation or comics, speed might even be more important than how well you can finish an image.
-
What's this about wanting to get faster? Quality over quantity, my friend. Or at least quality over velocity.
-
I'd love to do some stuff from guilty gear. I started a request thread in the forum, why don't you go take a look?
