We know that Raven has some kind of connection to Yang but we don't know what it is. Some people have believed that they are sisters, but I highly doubt that. The reason is that only sister Yang has is Ruby. I believe that Raven is Yang's Mother.
Here are my reasons.
1st. Yang and Raven look very similar this leads to a biological fact that girls look like their mothers with some exceptions. Eye color, hair style and color and that other thing which I will not name ((You know what I'm talking about.))
2nd. The mystery behind her. Remember when Yang talked to Blake about finding out what the White Fang were up too? Remember when Yang told Blake that her father didn't say much about her mother or never mention her name. We know who Ruby's mother is but we don't know who Yang's mother is.
Finally at the last episode of season 2. When Raven said to Yang "We have a lot to talk about." That could easily be a confession.
