@Flannery - You can try to think about an idea and then write it down in Notepad, Wordpad or whatever. THen read it as though you're viewing someone else's thread. If you feel that it is good enough to be posted, then do do. If you feel it is not yet good enough, then refine it and re-proof it until you feel like it is ready to be posted (Then post it). Afterwards, see what happens. Give it try. You never know.

@AmaraDash19 - I believe that is due to the possibility that most peeps go into the already established RP threads or chatrooms to "play" rather than spend the time to formulate and write an interesting discussion thread (Even an easy "One liner" can be thought provoking and elicit intelligent responses if worded properly) - It is just so much easier to do the former than the latter. Also, you have to remember that some peeps here are "lurkers". By definition, that means those peeps will NEVER say anything in any thread much less start their own thread (If they did then they wouldn't be lurkers anymore)!
