Well, I had an idea for how she gets it follow me on this. The team go out for a night out. Maybe there’s some dance club, but it’s adults only. Barbara tries to get in, maybe claiming she has a condition and these two are her carers, but is eventually left outside for a moment. She has an idea and starts walking off (maybe briefly getting into an encounter with some pickpockets)

She calls Zatanna for a favour, she shows up and asks for a special charm that can “make her look a bit older”

(The charm has a few hours time limit so it’s not a fix, just an illusion.) But in any case, switch back to Hel and Dinah when a suspiciously familiar redhead enters the club.

Oh, and do you remember the magic charm idea? How Barbara has some magic item that can briefly make her look like a mid twenties adult?

I really like that idea. Maybe adjnah threatens and starts putting Doll into the position before Mary complies to do something. Since we had Canary threaten it in the Cass rp and if Dahl believes she’s capable, it makes sense.

Side note, I have ideas about how Babs chooses to unwind. Will explain later.

Edit: One idea is that after Barbara gets changed into her chill/lowkey regression clothes, she flicks through channels (maybe seeing a news report of herself and listening), before eventually noticing an old horror flick. Barbara is canonically a horror movie fan, so what if she decides to watch it. Sure, she can get surprised, but it’s the good kind of scary.

I don’t know. It sounds good in my head, Barbara getting thrilled at an old slasher flick. Maybe cuddling with one of her dolls or a teddy bear to keep up the regression theme.

Oh, and since Helena has a day job as a teacher, I think it'd be a neat idea if she takes her class to the Gotham library only to see Barbara. Maybe they pretend they don't know each other.

...Or maybe she says something funny like "She's one of my friend's... nieces."

Maybe Helena meets with Barbara after a moment and whispers that they have a BOP meeting at four, once this is done, which can let the three Birds be in the same room. For interactions and maybe setting up how Helena's conflicted about how to feel about Barbara's... activities. Maybe a scene where Barbara goes off to check some information that Helena told her about, then Hel and Dinah have a chat about "Should we be letting her keep that nursery thing?"

Side note, I imagined a Baby-Doll scene where Baby-Bat gets tricked into getting hit by knockout gas, and wakes up tied up where Baby Doll thinks her "Baby-Bat" thing is her making fun of her condition and Barbara being confused as she tries to cut herself loose.

Like "You can't call yourself baby when you're not a baby, that's dumb!"

And since Dahl isn't actually doing anything illegal, well, nothing that's endangering innocents, Babs just gets away with a "Okay, maybe next time don't knock people out if you have questions."
